"There there baby, at least your big where it counts" Martha said playfully gently stroking her son's head as he groan on the bed not wanting to get up after what happened hours ago.
Unlike what he thought was gonna happen, he was ended teased relentlessly for hours and now his mother knew how big her son was and couldn't help but tease him as well all day.
It was already 8 o'clock close to the time he should be going to bed and though she was comforting him, she still couldn't help but tease.
"Oh your definitely bigger than your father, I can't believe your almost twelve inches long" Martha couldn't help the comment and giggle a little because she definitely measured it.
Oliver couldn't help but thought of it. She just suddenly came into the room saw that, but instead of oh let me get my son out of here. She pulled out a ruler and actually measured him making the girls laugh.
No, it went from an embarrassing situation to a hilarious one. It's still made him feel flustered, and the fact she was still commenting about it.
"Mom please" Oliver Whimpered desperately hoping that she would just give him some time instead of just keep bringing it up. It's been two hours since she's been doing this and it's been making him more and more flustered.
Martha finally decided to stop embarrassing. Oliver, her precious baby boy, she rolled her eyes, gave him a firm pinch on his cheek before leaving the room. Oliver side in relief that she was finally gone and knew the teasing has finally come to an end for today hopefully.
Oliver went back to studying the functions of the system and went over how the skill creation card worked. Apparently, he could either create a simple skill or sacrifice things to it to improve it and make it more powerful.
Oliver immediately thought about sacrificing his title to make a more powerful skill though he knew he couldn't make one too flashy otherwise he would be taken away to be some lab rat for American scientist. Oliver knew his country. The USA was very confusing and some of their rules and could be outright ridiculous in others seeing that he would have powers they might just lock them away or do whatever they do with the monsters.
Oliver refused to believe that such big countries did not have any information. In fact, he believe they were deliberately hiding the fact, they were monsters and mysterious things in the world like artifacts. This just made Oliver more and trustworthy of his own government, but he enjoyed some benefits of the economy so he preferred to stay low.
Oliver was currently earning some system coins that way you could afford to buy things from the System store. All of her has been playing small missions which involve him completing or beating certain levels on different apps he had on his phone some required him to do stupid stunts he seen before, but so long as it earned him money he was fine with it.
By the time Oliver was done gathering enough money to spend on some items it has already became 10 o'clock at night. Oliver opened up his system, screen and immediately use the store function.
[store]
[skills/ items/ bloodlines/ custom]
Oliver saw the four options. He was given skills items, bloodlines, and customs for all the options he could buy from. They were like categories how they separated. Things skills were obviously well skills and items were self-explanatory bloodlines, whereas just as obvious as the others.
However, one that stood out was custom it apparently was able to spend a certain amount of coins in order to Create a skill, item or passive, active or bloodline. Oliver realized how useful this function of the store can be if he needed a specific ability or item he would Be able to make it so long as he had enough coins to use in the system. They were also basic items. Apparently there was also loot items which were currently Blank apparently he had to Conqueror dungeon missions in order to have these as options, including a refresh card, which seemed to refresh missions, allowing them to be done again.
Oliver can only afford basic gear and a sword which he quickly bought and stored in inventory and immediately went to the missions and started looking for a dungeon one that he believed he could do.
Oliver didn't have to take long to find a suitable dungeon and believe he could defeat it.
The dungeon was to level five and had lots of coins and skill reward called rage LV:1.
Oliver didn't think much and pressed start and was teleported into a forest with a map showing him where to go. Oliver had to process that sensation of suddenly being move to another place it was confusing.
After some time of adjustment he slowly started walking to the area the map indicated to go. Oliver put on the armor and sword ready to slay some goblins and get some rewards.
"Intruder" I voice called out and a small group of goblins appeared blocking his path.
The five goblins surrounded Oliver and pointed their stone daggers at him, ready to stab him immediately. Oliver feeling nervous panicked and swing the sword cutting a goblin stomach open.
The other goblins attacked immediately after but his armor protected him from being stabbed but the force mad Oliver stumble and still causing him some pain.
Oliver start slashing rapidly at the goblins using his armor to block and mercilessly attacking them.
It was a bloody mess the corpses of dead goblins where around him apparently he lost track and more had appeared but her kept slaughtering them. Oliver armor was dented and looked damaged but was still useful.
Oliver was feeling mentally sick at his actions, he new they were sentient and he had killed them not just for survival but for the rewards.
It made him question his own morals and values, however in the end he decided to continue this path.
" I didn't think this through" Oliver said to himself a little bit disappointed in himself and his indifference towards the goblins deaths.
