1. Welcome to My Not-So-Holy Sect

Hello, stranger.

You may have arrived here expecting grandeur, immortality, celestial temples, or divine glory. Well, too bad.

You've stepped into my sect — a place where:

Spiritual chickens outnumber humans.

Our first disciple may be a con artist.

Our most valuable relic is a soup recipe passed down from a spirit beast with amnesia.

And me? I died from goosebumps. Reincarnated into a child. And somehow became Sect Master of this joke of a mountain.

But don't be fooled by the absurdity — there's power in absurdity. A divine system. Forgotten knowledge. And buried beneath this laughter... something ancient waits.

So welcome to the journey. And try not to die before Chapter 20.

2. About the Sect System and My "Godly" Powers

Let's get something clear.

I am not the strongest cultivator.

Outside my sect, I'm barely strong enough to fight a squirrel demon (don't ask). But within my sect… I am something else.

The Sect System (a.k.a. My Cheating Tool):-

My power is location-based. As long as I'm within my sect's territory, I'm overpowered.

Every time I gain a new disciple, the sect expands. With each expansion:

My spiritual sense grows.

The terrain evolves (we've grown whole peaks by now).

Strange, ancient structures awaken.

Oh, and there's a stone slab that writes names by itself. Creepy? Yes. Useful? Probably.

3. Cultivation Realms – Explained Badly (But Honestly):-

The cultivation system in this world is ridiculously complex. But let me break it down like someone who's actually confused most of the time.

General Realm Structure:

1. Root Vein Opening – You can now trip over a pebble and survive.

2. Spirit Gathering – Qi enters your body. You feel tingly. Probably an allergic reaction.

3. Foundation Forging – You're officially cooler than a mortal.

4. Core Formation – A mini sun is born inside you. Try not to explode.

5. Nascent Soul – You grow a soul-baby. No diapers required.

6. Void Step – You can fly. Yes, really. Start doing dramatic sky entrances.

7. Saint Bone Realm – Your bones are now as strong as your childhood trauma.

8. Heaven Ascension – People start calling you "Senior" and asking for autographs.

Higher realms? No clue yet. I'll unlock them after I survive Wu Ling's glare.

4. The Great Realm Break & Guardian System:-

Once a year, the world trembles. Reality bends. And something called the Great Realm Break opens.

The Realm Break:

It's a rift in reality where treasures and dangers leak in.

The most sought-after "treasures" are called Guardians.

What Are Guardians?:-

They're the spirits of dead cultivators with unfinished business.

They seek living vessels with the mental strength to complete what they couldn't in life.

If you succeed, they give you:

Their skills, memories, and inheritance.

A soul-based protection system (they'll literally die again to save you).

But there's a price:

You must endure their deepest trauma.

If your mental state breaks, they can consume or distort your mind.

Each person can only hold 5 Guardians, and only if their mind is strong enough.

Note from Sect Master: If a ghost asks you to finish their life's work, maybe ask what that work was before saying yes.

---

5. Sect Hierarchy and Peak System:-

As the sect grows, new peaks are formed. Each peak becomes a spiritual zone for disciples to train — or, more often, for them to mess up in creative ways.

Current Sect Structure:

Main Peak (Sect Master Jin Nian's domain)

Contains the main hall, chicken coops, and a slab that writes spooky names.

Wu Ling's Peak (Silent Flame Peak)

Surrounded by fire-attracting bamboo. It's haunted. Not kidding.

Bai Duyi's Peak (Wind Echo Peak)

So peaceful that people often forget he exists.

Zhang Mubo's Domain (Problem Peak)

Accident-prone zone where reality has cried multiple times.

As disciples increase, more peaks will form. With each peak, the Sect Master's power radius expands, and the land becomes more spiritually active.

---

6. Known Disciples (a.k.a. Chaos Units):-

Wu Ling – The Quiet Thunder

Cold, intense, but haunted by something deep.

First to resonate with a Guardian.

Still trying to remember Jiang Ru — a name carved by the stone.

Zhang Mubo – Walking Catastrophe

May or may not be the reason half the scrolls are now banned.

Genius in the wrong ways. Accidentally activated a spiritual ley line.

Thinks all Guardian dreams are about food.

Bai Duyi – The Gentle Shadow

Soft-spoken, secretly strong.

Starts to experience emotional flashbacks from a girl he doesn't know.

Possibly the most sane of the group (which isn't saying much).

Lei Yao – The Lightning Sprout

Youngest disciple. Obsessed with lightning techniques.

Thinks being cool means holding a sword during breakfast.

More disciples to come (you didn't think I was stopping at five, right? We're aiming for 1 million disciples, baby.)

---

7. Common Demons in This World

This world has tons of demons. Most want to eat you. Some want to marry you. Others just want your spiritual Wi-Fi.

⚫ Elemental Demons

Made from fire, ice, wind, etc.

Usually found near spiritual veins or danger zones.

Weak ones are tameable (if they don't cook you first).

Mind Fragment Demons:-

Manifest from fear or guilt.

Very dangerous.

Feed on emotions, especially from Guardian users.

Beast-Form Demons:-

Animal-like with strange abilities.

Some can speak human languages. Some are smarter than our disciples.

---

8. Rare Treasures and Ancient Stuff That Might Kill You:-

Stone of Echoes – Carves names of dead cultivators seeking redemption.

Heartfire Soup – Legendary recipe that opens hidden meridians (if you survive the diarrhea).

Soul Threads – Only visible during the Realm Break. Can lead to Guardian bonds… or spiritual madness.

Divine Dust – Looks like glitter. Not edible (Zhang Mubo tested this. He glowed for two days).

---

9. Rules of the Sect (Yes, We Have Those):-

> Compiled by Wu Ling. Ignored by everyone else.

1. Do not touch the forbidden scrolls without permission.

2. Do not awaken ancient stones with experimental noodles.

3. No more "training" that ends in burned rooftops.

4. Guardians are to be treated with respect, not used as emotional backup dancers.

5. The Sect Master is not to be disturbed while napping... unless the sect is on fire.

---

10. Final Notes for New Readers (And Future Disciples):-

This world is layered — funny on the surface, but filled with emotion, mystery, and unresolved pain underneath.

As disciples grow, so will the sect.

As the sect grows, more forgotten souls will awaken.

And one day, when the Great Realm Break cracks open fully, even gods may rise from within our little courtyard.

But until then… we train, we eat, we cry, and we laugh.

Because power isn't just about strength.

It's about carrying the burdens no one else can.

And if we do it together?

Then perhaps…

There truly is a God Within My Sect.
