Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: It Was All Yu Xiaogang’s Fault!

In the end, Fu Ye was dragged out of Moon Pavilion by Yuehua, who had him by the ear—just in time for the arriving students to witness the scene.

"Wow! Brother Fu Ye and Teacher Yuehua seem really close!"

"Teacher Yuehua's face is red! Did she fall for Brother Fu Ye?"

"Brother, you're amazing! Even Teacher Yuehua isn't immune to your charm!"

"My father passed away young. If you don't mind, Brother Fu Ye, I'd be happy to— Waaah!"

"Brother, what are you saying?! Our dad is only thirty this year!"

Fu Ye, now unceremoniously tossed outside, watched Tang Yuehua's furious expression and couldn't help but find her adorable.

'Still, no matter how cute she is, I can't have her right now. So frustrating!'

'I'll just have to take it out on that silly little Ah Yin tonight with some… deeper emotional exchanges.'

As for his next visit to Moon Pavilion, he and Yuehua had already agreed—he'd return the afternoon after next.

After all, these students still had much to learn, and temperament training was best left to Tang Yuehua herself. His role was simply to assist with the zither lessons and ease her workload.

That said, Moon Pavilion's benefits were impressive. Even as a mere follower, Tang Yuehua paid him 1,500 gold soul coins a month.

For ordinary people, this was a fortune—but Fu Ye, a man of limitless wealth, cared little for money. What he truly wanted was more quality time with Yuehua.

'Besides, that bastard Tang Hao won't show up here anyway.'

'Once I take Yuehua back to the Clear Sky Sect to meet the elders, I'll make sure to give him a proper beating.'

As for Tang San's mother, Fu Ye had already begun searching for candidates. His system mall had everything—whether practical or… unconventional.

Minor details could shift, but the grand scheme remained unchanged.

As long as Tang Hao lived, Tang San would be born—Fu Ye just needed to ensure the right woman appeared at the right time.

At one point, he even considered pairing Chrysanthemum Douluo with Tang Hao, but quickly dismissed the absurd idea.

'Imagine—a first martial soul like the Chrysanthemum and a second martial soul like the Clear Sky Hammer.'

'If Tang San inherited that combination, what kind of monstrosity would he become?'

Chrysanthemum Douluo's ultimate move, after all, was eerily similar to Tang San's Buddha's Fury Tang Lotus.

Yue Guan: "The chrysanthemums wither, the earth scars, fallen petals pierce the heart."

Tang San: "Take this—Buddha's Fury Tang Lotus Pro-Max!"

'Ugh, that mental image is terrifying!'

Juxiang Pavilion…

Ah Yin was already awake, sitting on the balcony sofa, soaking in the sunlight. For her, basking in the sun was pure relaxation.

By nine in the evening, Fu Ye held Ah Yin in his arms as they lay on the open-air sofa, admiring the unusually round moon even though it wasn't the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Just then, a figure in white appeared beside Fu Ye and bowed deeply.

"Thank you, Brother."

"No need for formalities. I might be away from Juxiang Pavilion for a while, so I'll leave it in your care."

Fu Ye smiled, recognizing the man—Chen Xin, who had finally emerged from two full days of enlightenment.

"Rest assured, Brother. If Juxiang Pavilion faces trouble, I, Chen Xin, will be the first to act."

"Good. I appreciate it."

With a nod, Chen Xin departed. Fu Ye then turned to Ah Yin, whose drowsy eyes blinked in confusion. Leaning close, he whispered in her ear.

"My lady…"

"Mmm~"

Dragons were inherently lustful, and Fu Ye—possessing the Dragon God's martial soul and bloodline—was no exception.

Though the Dragon God of Douluo Continent was technically a hybrid, here, it reigned as the supreme ancestor of all soul beasts—the undisputed strongest!

Meanwhile, in the Interrogation Room…

Four people occupied the room today—two new prisoners, while the previous two hadn't survived the last round of saltwater torture before dawn.

Bibi Dong's gaze was colder than ever. The two Spirit Hall supervisors trembled under her stare, their faces twisted in fear—but she felt no pity.

'They took the Spirit Hall's resources, then conspired with other factions.'

Once exposed, their fate was sealed. Those who confessed would die cleanly. Those who resisted?

Iron whips. Saltwater. Acid baths.

The lucky ones died quickly. The stubborn ones? She'd slice their flesh piece by piece, feeding it to dogs before their eyes.

'Let's see how long their defiance lasts.'

"Crack!"

The whip tore into a plump supervisor's skin, leaving a gruesome wound.

"AHHH!!! Saintess, please—!"

Another lash shattered his kneecap.

"AHHHH!!! I'LL TALK! I'LL CONFESS!"

'Pathetic. He broke after just two strikes.'

Bibi Dong didn't even acknowledge his plea. Instead, she turned to the other prisoner.

"Crack!"

His shoulder snapped.

"AHH! I'LL SPEAK! IT'S—"

She whipped his waist without hesitation.

"SNAP!"

Flesh split open.

Finally, she returned to the first man—now pissing himself in terror. With a slight frown, she struck his other shoulder.

"CRUNCH!"

"AHHHH!!! SAINTESS, SPARE ME! IT'S ALL YU XIAOGANG'S FAULT! I TOOK BRIBES, BUT I DON'T DESERVE DEATH!!"

At last—the name she wanted.

She pivoted back to the second prisoner, whip raised.

"Crack!"

"IT'S YU XIAOGANG! HE BRIBED ME! THREATENED ME! SAINTESS, IT'S HIM!!"

A radiant smile bloomed on Bibi Dong's face as she glanced at the guards holding six ten-year old soul dogs and the healing soul master.

"No need to prolong their suffering. Every fifteen minutes, sever a limb and feed it to the dogs. Let the next batch of traitors see the price of betrayal."

The chilling sweetness in her voice sent shivers down every spine in the room.

'Yu Xiaogang… you're finished.'

As the door opened, two tall, gaunt figures entered.

"Uncle Gui, summon that loser Yu Xiaogang. I have… words for him."
