(Suddenly, they hear Nurse Joy say.)
Nurse Joy: "There is one way you might win."
(Team Rocket remains silent as they see Mew and her friends turn to see Nurse Joy entering the lobby, and has a box in her arm.)
Nurse Joy: "I'm sorry I overheard your conversation and I just thought that maybe…"
(Nurse Joy says.)
Mew: "How can we win?"
(Mew asks, curiously.)
Nurse Joy: "A while ago, I just happened to come across this."
(Nurse Joy says.)
(She then opens the box.)
(Inside the box it shows a greenish blue color stone with a lighting bolt inside.)
Brock: "Wow! It's a Thunder Stone!"
(Brock says.)
Mew: "A Thunder Stone?"
(Mew says, interested.)
(Brock nods his head and says.)
Brock: "Yes You can use it to make Pikachu evolve into a Raichu."
Mew: "I can make Pikachu evolve into a Raichu?"
(Mew says, confused.)
(Then picks up the stone.)
Mew: "Then Pikachu might be strong enough to win But…"
Nurse Joy: "You've got to think hard before using the Thunder Stone."
(Nurse Joy says.)
Misty: "If you make Pikachu evolve, Mew, you can't change it back."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "Pikachu will never be the same."
(Brock adds.)
Mew: "If Pikachu becomes a Raichu, I might be able to win that badge. But I… I don't want to evolve Pikachu just to fight… I… I might not be any better than Damian who cares about using Pokemon to win."
(Mew worriedly says.)
(She walks to Pikachu and asks.)
Mew: "Pikachu, what do you want to do?"
(Pikachu looks at the Thunder Stone.)
Mew: "I really want to beat that Lt. Surge, but I also don't want to force you to evolve if you'd be happier staying the way you are.")
(Mew says, still holding out the stone.)
James: "She's letting Pikachu decide."
(James says.)
James: "If it becomes Raichu, it'll be stronger."
(James says.)
Meowth: "What's it gonna do?"
(Meowth wonders.)
(Mew sits next to Pikachu and asks.)
Mew: "What do you think?"
(Pikachu looked at it, then he slapped the Thunder Stone away with its tail.)
(Mew gasps in surprise.)
Mew: "Pikachu!"
Pikachu: "Pika Pikachu Pika Pi Pi Pi Pikachu chu Pika Pikachu!" (I don't want to change, if I want to beat Raichu, I'm going to do it just as I am!)
(Pikachu shouts.)
Mew: "Really?"
(Mew asks, surprised.)
(Then Pikachu says.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pi Pika Pi Pika Pikachu!" (I'm going to fight in the name of all Pikachu!")
(Mew smiles and says.)
Mew: "Oh Pikachu."
[Outside...]
(Meowth is practically in tears to hear Pikachu's statement.)
(He happily says.)
Meowth: "It's so brave!"
James: "Tell us what Pikachu is saying!"
(James says.)
(Meowth translates.)
Meowth: "Pikachu won't change! If it's going to beat the Raichu, it wants to do it just as it is."
Jessie: "You mean it's going to battle as a Pikachu?"
(Jessie asks, surprised.)
Meowth: "It's going to fight in the name of all Pikachu."
(Meowth adds.)
(James begins to tear up.)
James: "Really?! That's so beautiful!"
(Misty asks.)
Misty: "Mew, what did Pikachu say?''"
Mew: "Pikachu says that he won't change. He is going to fight against Raichu the way he is. He actually said he's going to fight in the name of all Pikachu."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Wow, Pikachu's brave,"
(Misty says.)
(Mew then takes Pikachu's paws.)
Mew: "Pikachu, together, you and I will beat Lieutenant Surge and his Raichu!"
Pikachu: "Pika Pika!" (Yes, we will!)
(Pikachu says.)
Misty: "You're both crazy!"
(Misty says.)
Brock: "You should come up with a different strategy, Mew. Maybe use your other Pokemon."
(Brock replies.)
Mew: "It's hard, but it's not impossible! Pikachu and I will find a way to win!"
(Mew says.)
(Then Pikachu says.)
Pikachu: "Pika Pikachu Pika!" ("I'll prove I can beat Raichu! I'll defend me and Mew's honor!")
Jessie: "Huh?"
(Jessie says, confused.)
Meowth: "Pikachu will prove it can beat Raichu. It will defend its honor and Mew's!"
(Meowth translates.)
James: "Oh dear! That's magnificent!"
(James says, in tears.)
Mew: "Alright! Are we all charged up!"
(Mew says.)
Pikachu: "Pi!" (Yeah!)
(Pikachu says.)
Eevee: "Eevee!" (You can beat them!)
(Eevee says.)
[Sometime later...]
(Mew along with Eevee and Pikachu are trying to come up with a plan to beat Lt. Surge and Raichu.)
Misty: "This whole thing has me nervous."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Yeah. I'm worried about Pikachu, but I know we can beat it. We just need to come up with a plan," Mew says.
Misty: "I hope it'll be okay."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Me too,"
(Mew says.)
(She then thinks.)
Mew: "Hmm, It feels that this Raichu seems to mostly use electric attacks and powerful attacks. Hmm… I wonder."
(After some rest, having food, and thinking at the Pokemon Center, Mew and the others begin to walk their way to the Vermilion Gym.)
(Of course, Pikachu, Eevee, and Mew are determined to win.)
Brock: "Seems like they're ready to win, doesn't it?"
(Brock says.)
(Misty nods their heads in reply.)
(The group continues to walk down the road and ready to fight against the Vermilion Gym Leader Lt. Surge.)
(Suddenly, they are stopped by three people dressed in black uniforms and wearing sunglasses, who are actually Team Rocket in disguise.)
(Confused, Mew asks.)
Mew: "Huh? Who are you guys?"
Jessie and James: To protect the world from devastation
Meowth: "Ixnay!"
(Meowth angrily says and smacks the two with a paper fan.)
Jessie and James: "We forgot!"
(The two panics.)
(Meowth lands on the ground and says.)
Meowth: "We're the challenger's cheerleaders, and we're here to show our support for the brave Pikachu and Mew!
Jessie and James: "Ra!"
(Jessie and James shout.)
Meowth: "In honor of the great Pikachu's bravery, we wish to offer a cheer!"
(Meowth adds.)
[Soon...]
(they all begin to cheer.)
(Making Pikachu call imitations, James is waving a flag, and Meowth is cheering as he waves two fans around.)
(Mew, along with her friends, are confused.)
(Meowth shouts.)
Meowth: "Hip Hip hooray!"
(Then they cheer waving fans.)
(After that, Meowth says.)
Meowth: "Okay, let's split."
(With that, Team Rocket runs away.)
Eevee: "Eevee Eevee." (That was weird)
(Eevee says, confused.)
Mew: "Eevee says that was weird."
(Mew says.)
Brock: "More like really disturbing."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "Thanks for your support!"
(Misty shouts.)
(Then Mew shouts.)
Mew: "Bye, Team Rocket!"
(Team Rocket is shocked and drops their disguises.)
Team Rocket: "Huh?"
Meowth: "How did they know it was us?"
(Meowth asks.)
Jessie: "Lucky guess."
(Jessie answers.)
