(Mew and her friends walk through Rock Tunnel to reach the next town and another part of their Pokemon journey.)
(They soon walk out of the tunnel, and become surprised to see a town that is covered in fog.)
(They also can see a tall and large tower in the town.)
Brock: "So this is Lavender Town."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "It looks kind of spooky."
(Misty says, feeling nervous.)
Mew: "It kind of does. According to the guide book, Lavender Town is usually foggy, and it has a special tower called the Pokemon Tower, it's a resting place for Pokemon who have passed away and people can visit and pay their respect."
(Mew says, reading the book.)
Brock: "And it also said that many Ghost Pokemon also lived in the Tower as well."
(Brock says.)
(Misty becomes frightened.)
Misty: "Gh-ghost Pokemon?!"
Mew: "Yeah. I guess ghost Pokemon like to hang out where they can see spirits of Pokemon. Plus, they also like to play tricks on people."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "I hope they're not scary tricks! I don't wanna go in there!"
(Misty panics.)
Mew: "Don't worry Misty, we're just going to go to the Pokemon Center, heal our Pokemon, grab something to eat, and get some supplies."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "That's good. Let's go to the Pokemon Center."
(Misty says, relieved.)
[Soon...]
(the group are already at the Pokemon Center, having their Pokemon treated and checked by Nurse Joy, and Mew along with her friends, Pikachu, and Eevee are having something to eat.)
(Suddenly, Mew soon hears a conversation that grabs her attention.)
The man: "I hear that a ghost has been appearing in the Pokemon tower lately."
Mew: "A ghost?"
(Mew says, confused.)
(Mew looks to see two people talking.)
(The woman asks.)
The woman: "Really"
The man: "Yeah. That's right, and a lot of people claimed to have seen it. I haven't seen it, but everyone has been talking about it. They said that the Pokemon is rumored to scare away anyone who walks on the upper floors."
(The man says.)
(Mew soon becomes interested to hear about a ghost in the tower.)
(She wonders if it's just a Ghost Pokemon playing tricks.)
(After having their lunch, and gathering their Pokeballs.)
(Mew also exchanges some of them, so some can have a chance to battle and some can rest.)
(The group of friends then leave the Pokemon Center and decide to look around town.)
[Soon...]
(they find a place that catches their attention.)
(Brock reads the sign.)
Brock: "Hmm, Lavender Town Pokemon House."
Misty: "Never heard of that place before."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Is it a playhouse?"
(Mew wonders.)
Misty: "Let's go and check it."
(Misty suggests.)
(The group enters the place to see the Pokemon House for themselves.)
(Brock calls out.)
Brock: "Excuse us, is anyone here?!"
???: "Yes,"
(A girl's voice calls out.)
(The door opens and a young girl with light brown pigtails and purple eyes walk in.)
(She is wearing a pink shirt and purple skirt walk in.)
Mew: "Excuse us, do you think you can tell us about this Pokemon House?"
(Mew asks.)
???: "Of course, this is a place where abandoned or orphaned Pokemon are taken care of."
(The girl says.)
Mew: "Abandoned and orphaned?"
(Mew says, concerned.)
Reina: "I'll show you. By the way, my name is Reina."
(The girl says.)
Mew: "Hello Reina, my name is Mew, and these are my Pokemon, Eevee and Pikachu, and these are my friends, Misty and Brock."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "It's nice to meet you."
(Misty says.)
Brock: "Yeah. and we like to check the place out."
(Brock says.)
(The group walks around to see so many pen areas for Pokemon.)
(There is an Oddish, Sandshrew, Vulpix, and more baby Pokemon.)
(What's more, there are people that are taking care of the Pokemon, feeding, playing, and cleaning.)
Misty: "There are so many Pokemon. Are they all abandoned?"
(Misty asks, feeling sad.)
Reina: "You should talk to the founder of the Pokemon House. His name is Mr. Charles Kyle. He said that lots of people around the world think of Pokemon as nothing more than tools or even some kind of accessories. Did you know that this house was actually used to be Mr. Kyle's own home. He remodeled it like this so it will have facilities just for the Pokemon."
(Reina says.)
Mew: "Mr. Kyle must be a very kind person."
(Mew says.)
Reina: "You're right, he is. That's the reason a lot of people decide to volunteer here to help him and the Pokemon out, and I'm one of them."
(Reina says.)
Brock: "I sure love to meet Mr. Kyle, is he here?"
(Brock asks.)
(Reina shakes her head.)
Reina: "No. He's gone to the Pokemon Tower. He went to visit with his Charizard, who just passed away a year ago."
Mew: "His Charizard?"
(Mew asks.)
Reina: "Yes. Mr. Kyle loves his Charizard, they've been together since he started his journey, and have been inseparable. He comes to the tower once in a while to visit his Charizard's grave."
(Reina says.)
Mew: "Maybe we can go to the tower and pay our respect to the Pokemon."
(Mew suggests.)
Misty: "As much as I like to, but I'm a little nervous about meeting the ghost Pokemon there."
(Misty says.)
(Reina giggles.)
Reina: "You don't need to worry, the three Pokemon Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar are very friendly, and they do have the tendency to play tricks on other people, trainers, Pokemon, and even each other. They are very nice Pokemon and respect the grave of the Pokemon there."
Brock: "Hmm, sounds like they're good Pokemon."
(Brock says.)
Mew: "Yeah. Just mischievous."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Um, so when do you think Mr. Kyle will be back?"
(Misty asks.)
Reina: "I'm not sure. He also said that he plans on finding the baby Pokemon that hasn't been seen for over a month,"
(Reina says.)
Mew: "A baby Pokemon? Did something happen?"
(Mew asks.)
Reina: "Team Rocket happened."
(Reina answers.)
Misty: "Team Rocket?"
(Misty asks, confused.)
Reina: "Yes. Team Rocket was trying to capture Pokemon that were just outside of Lavender Town."
(Reina says.)
Mew: "They didn't capture any, did they?"
(Mew asks.)
Reina: "No,"
(Reina says.)
(Then shows a sad frown on her face.)
Reina: "But… they ended up killing a Pokemon."
(This shocked the group.)
the group: "Killing a Pokemon?!"
Reina: "I'm afraid it's true."
(Reina sadly says.)
Brock: "What Pokemon was it?"
(Brock asks.)
Reina: "It was a Female Haxorus. Which is very rare in Kanto."
(Reina says.)
Brock: "A Haxorus? Are you serious?"
(Brock asks, shocked.)
Misty: "What's a Haxorus?"
(Misty asks.)
Mew: "A Haxorus is a Pokemon that originated in the Unova Region. It's really rare to see them here of all places."
(Mew says.)
(She then brings out her Pokedex and shows them a picture of it.)
(The Pokemon is a bipedal Pokémon with a dark, yellow-green covering on its back and most of the front.)
(It has black skin covering its torso, tail tip, and thighs, as well as red talons and claws.)
(Its large tusks, which resemble scythes, are black and edged in red, and are located on its upper jaw on the side of its mouth.)
(Its medium-sized eyes are red with black pupils.)
(Ridged plate-like skin travels from its back to its head region.)
(It has solid armor and the legs and tail have a dividing line pattern.)
(Its arms are quite small, with three digits with two elliptical triceps and biceps and circular elbows.)
(Its hands are small and circular with small red claws.)
(Its legs are formidable and strong with three-toed feet with a red talon on each toe.)
(Then Dexter says.)
Dexter: "Haxorus, the Axe Jaw Pokémon. A Dragon Type. They are kind but can be relentless when defending territory. They challenge foes with tusks that can cut steel."
Misty: "Wow. That looks like a big Dragon type Pokemon."
(Misty says.)
Mew: "Team Rocket must have been able to overpowered it somehow. Probably have an Ice Type Pokemon at hand."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "They didn't get away with it, did they?"
(Misty asks.)
Reina: "They were arrested and taken to prison. They soon had the Haxorus buried in Pokemon Tower. Haxorus was able to successfully rescue the Pokemon Team Rocket tried to capture, but lost its life in the process. After the incident and giving it a proper burial, they found its nest and soon discovered it had a baby. We searched, but couldn't find it. However, Mr. Kyle refused to give up."
(Reina says.)
Mew: "So Haxorus died saving the Pokemon, and it's child became an orphan. What a horrible thing for Team Rocket to do."
(Mew sadly says.)
Brock: "Poor little Pokemon, it must have been so heartbroken and feels so alone."
(Brock says.)
Misty: "I do hope it's found."
(Misty sadly says.)
(Pikachu and Eevee show deep sorrow for the baby Pokemon of Haxorus and for what became of it.)
[Sometime later...]
(Mew and her friends have received their tour of the Pokemon house.)
Mew: "Thank you for showing us around. This is a great place for the Pokemon to live."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "And the Pokemon love it."
(Misty says.)
Reina: "I know. Mr. Kyle isn't just a nice man, but was a successful Pokemon trainer before retiring. He sometimes teaches us a thing or two about Pokemon and about their moves, and breeding."
(Reina says.)
Mew: "We really love to meet him. It's too bad he's busy right now."
(Mew says.)
Misty: "Yeah. We might be able to learn from him."
(Misty says.)
Reina: "I'm sure he would love too."
(Reina says.)
(Then looks at the clock to see the time.)
Reina: "Hmm, Mr. Kyle should have been back a while ago. I wonder what could have happened."
