Chapter 3 - Not Your Average Blind Date Plot Twist

Hendrix's POV

Eliana Benjamin?

The girl in front of me is really Eliana?

My Eliana.

She's changed.

Grown.

But that charm? That spark? Still there.

I can't believe I'm seeing her here—like this.

If I hadn't noticed her name and address on the ID card, I would've never known.

I was too caught up in her fake pregnancy drama.

But now?

I'm certain.

The little girl I saw last time…

She's become a beautiful woman.

I hadn't really looked at her before.

But now?

She's… breathtaking.

That soft, natural innocence.

Fair, smooth skin with a warm, rosy glow.

Cheeks that still flush like she's caught doing something mildly illegal.

Wide almond-shaped eyes—warm brown, expressive, curious.

Long lashes. Gently arched brows.

A heart-shaped face, soft jawline, dainty nose, and naturally pink lips.

Her long, dark brown hair flows in effortless waves.

She's wearing a pastel brown dress with lace trims and a Peter Pan collar.

Knee-length hemline.

Matching handbag. Polished low heels. Neat. Elegant.

...But not her style.

She used to hate pastel cardigans and lace collars.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" she asks, snapping me back to reality.

Right.

I'm on a blind date—with Mia.

But Eliana's here… trying to run it?

Why?

Does she even recognize me?

Or is this all just some twisted prank?

Either way... maybe this is my chance.

To end this ridiculous date.

And maybe... to finally talk to her.

Eliana's POV

What the hell just happened to his face?

One second he looked like a confused rich guy...

Now he's smirking.

And not in a cute way.

In a "I just created a 10-step revenge plan in my head" kind of way.

Great.

I don't like this.

At all.

He suddenly steps closer.

Then—boom. Arm around my waist.

WHAT?!

We are way too close.

He smells like money, trouble, and citrus cologne.

I look up and—

Yup. Eye contact. Deep. Intense.

Mildly terrifying.

"I would never cheat on you," he says in this deep, overly dramatic voice.

"You're the only person I love."

🥲 Sorry, what now?

"I'm the only person you love?"

I raise an eyebrow. "You're literally sitting at a dating café with another woman and you expect me to believe that?"

I shove his hand off my waist and take a step back.

He reaches for my hand. "I'll make you believe on me. Let's get married."

MARRIED?!

This man just skipped a few hundred steps! 🚨

I yank my hand away. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"You said I promised to marry you…"

He leans forward—

…and touches my belly.

"…and I'll take full responsibility for our baby."

🤯

BABY??

WHAT BABY?!

DID ONE FALL FROM THE SKY WHEN I WASN'T LOOKING?!

Oh no.

He's not just handsome.

He's crazy.

"I don't want to marry a pervert like you," I snap, stepping back. "Let's just break up. I don't want to see your face ever again."

That's it.

Game over.

I'm done.

"Don't leave... I can't live without you."

He hugs me.

TIGHTLY.

"Just give me one chance. I swear, I'll never let you down."

...Wait.

Did that sound a little romantic?

He is very handsome...

NO.

Focus, Eliana.

You are not his girlfriend.

You are his chaos.

And he's acting like he deserves an Emmy.

I thought Mia's blind date would be some boring businessman.

Turns out he's an undercover K-drama male lead. 🎭

I started this mess.

I need to end it.

But how?

"YOU JERK!!"

Mia suddenly steps in—full dramatic mode activated.

"If you have a girlfriend and she is already pregnant, how dare you show up on a blind date with me?!"

YES!

That's my girl!

Time to finish the scene.

"You're on a blind date with another woman, and you want me to give you a chance?"

I grab the nearest water glass from the table and—

💦 SPLASH!

"Don't ever show your face to me again."

I know I'm wrong.

I know I started this.

But seriously—how else was I supposed to end this telenovela?

I turn around and walk out of the café.

No regrets.

Mia and her insanely attractive but suspicious blind date?

Not. My. Problem. Anymore.
