Chapter 4. Magnolia
After some more small talk they both agreed to leave the island next morning. For today Shun will prepare his belongings to leave the island. Though he don't have much to prepare since he got storage ring that is filled with full of monster materials, he didn't bother to explain and parted with Makarov temporarily.
Meanwhile…
Makarov went to visit First guild master of Fairy Tail's grave to ask for her permissions regarding Future fairy tail S rank promotion exam's location. The guild currently has only Gildarts as an S rank mage, with others without much hope to become S rank.
In current Fairy Tail Marco and Wakaba are considered strongest after Gildarts. So Makarov didn't bother with promotion exam before. But Laxus and Mystogan are growing up strong. And there's also Gray who joined recently with strong potential.
Lastly the kid with 'Lost Magic: Repel' Shun. Makarov smiled thinking future of fairy tail is bright.
When he finally got to the grave. He was shocked to find another kid on this island. This time it was a girl with long hair and cute feature looking about same age as the kid he met earlier. The girl was not wearing shoes, sitting on a tree branch nearby swinging her legs.
"Long time no see Makarov, child of Yuri and Rita" Mavis said cheerfully.
"Huh… have I met you before, young lady" Makarov said a bit surprised about why he was behaving so respectfully considering the age difference between the two.
"Yes, after all I was the one who named you. Let me introduce myself. My name is Mavis Vermillion, the one who created Fairy tail together with your father, Warrod and Precht" Mavis stood up and said.

Makarov was once again speechless after the encounter with Lost magic user kid, not even an hour later he was told even more outrageous thing. After all first guild master has been dead for nearly a century. But somehow Makarov didn't doubt her words.
"First generation, you were still alive?!"
"No, It's complicated, just think of me as a ghost or thought projection" Mavis said cheerfully, seemingly not bothered with it.
"Anyways can you hurry up and take that kid away then put the guild emblem on him. Because he isn't a guild member I wasn't able to communicate with him. He has been acting like a thug in other people's home. It's quite troublesome for him to keep hunting the wildlife here for 5 years" Mavis complained tears almost dropping from her eyes.

Meanwhile
Shun was reading a peculiar message from the system. He thought the system was dead or he got abandoned by it. Since he was never heard from it. Except when he uses status. But now it's congratulating him for 'hidden mission completion'

With that in Shun's storage ring there was black sleeveless turtleneck, loose white pants, black sandals were added.
"Finally some modern clothing, it was getting annoying making clothes from the tree leaves"
Shun washed himself in the river then wore the Toji set.

As he closed the status window, there was another message regarding the missions.

"The mission content is somewhat vague, but saving Erza and her companions should do the job."
Once he reaches Magnolia he has to hurry and search for the Tower of Heaven, since he has no idea what year this is.
Next day…
Shun and Makarov left the island in Makarov's boat, heading to Magnolia.
"Old man what year is this?"
"Huh.. It's year 774"
"I see…" Shun said
All I remember about the timeline is Natsu's dragon disappeared in year 777. That means I got about a year or two before Erza escapes Tower of Heaven on her own.
It took almost a full day to reach Magnolia.
