It began with a vibration.
Not one that could be heard, one that could be felt. Through skin, through bone, through memory.
As Crystal held the ten Seals close, each a prism of bound resonance, the world around her began to shiver. Not in fear. Not in collapse.
But in anticipation.
The Seals wanted to sing.
But they also wanted to break.
🎼🎼🎼
They gathered atop the Verdant Spire, the tallest point of the Kingdom. Once a sanctuary for dreamweavers, it now stood empty...its spires twisted into harps by time and overgrowth.
Here, the Seals could be unified.
But they had to be played.
Each one required a note only Crystal's soul could strike...and each one would take something from her.
A memory.
A fear.
A hope.
A truth.
Ten Seals. Ten songs. Ten losses.
🎼🎼🎼
Echo placed her hand against the Spire's base. Her Mirror shimmered.
"I'll hold the realm steady," she said. "While you sing, the curse will fight you. It will try to rewrite the music."
Liora unfurled her golden strings.
"I'll protect the Seals until their last note is sung."
Solstice, glowing with flame and fury, nodded.
"And I'll burn anything that tries to silence her."
🎼🎼🎼
Crystal knelt before the altar of Songsteel at the Spire's summit.
She placed the Seals in a ring.
And began to sing.
🎼🎼🎼
The first note tore open the sky.
The second shook the roots of the world.
By the fifth, she could no longer feel her own heartbeat...it had become melody.
The Spire began to tremble.
Not from collapse…
From rebirth.
🎼🎼🎼
But as the eighth Seal rang out, a new resonance bled through the wind.
Low.
Heavy.
Familiar.
🎼🎼🎼
"Nocturne?" Crystal whispered.
But it wasn't him.
It was the echo of his masterwork...The Symphony of Stillness.
The original spell meant to erase all music from existence.
It had awakened, buried beneath the chords she sang.
Because the Seals weren't just locks.
They were the cage.
🎼🎼🎼
With all ten gathered and played, the cage broke.
And from it rose something ancient.
A being of hollow notes and silenced names.
A god without song.
It had no face.
Only a voice:
"You sang us awake."
🎼🎼🎼
The Harmonic Null had returned.
The final chapter of Crystal's Light had begun....not as a celebration…
…but as a test.
Would her voice be enough to unmake the void itself?
Or would the final seal be her?
🎼🎼🎼
