[You've been stung by a Nuturer Spider]
[You've been stung by an Infant Spider]
[Notice. You're bleeding terribly]
[-3HP will be deducted every second]
[You've been inflicted with poison]
[You've fallen into the state of paralysis]
'I... I can't even move my sword in this godforsaken hole.'
"I'm sure I made sure I sent my perception to this hole. Never knew the goddamn system had me in its mind."
"My body has fallen into a state of paralysis… my limbs aren't responding and my health is just below 20%..."
"Dammit. Is this how I'll die? Just after getting to Stage 1?"
"Aaaargh! Stop stinging me, bastards! It hurts!" Malik said, pulling up his inventory to check the loot of the Spider Queen, and the image of a short weapon appeared right in front of him.
"Nuturer Fang... A Bronze-level dagger," Malik said after appraising it.
"But it's useless if I can't move my limbs." Malik sighed as he averted his gaze to the next item, which was an accessory.
"Webweaver Cloak... It has poison resistance and grants 50HP." Malik's eyes lit up almost immediately.
"Equip…" he cried out, almost biting his tongue in the process, as a black cloak wrapped around his body and his HP, which was barely at 5%, rose back to 35%.
Shriieek!
The spiders, seeing this, got infuriated as they all rushed at him, but due to the cramped nature of the hole, they could only stab out at intervals as they pushed each other forward.
Though that seemed like an advantage to Malik, it also pushed him into a disadvantage. He couldn't swing his sword. He would have resorted to using the dagger, but his body was still paralyzed.
"Geez… My HP is back to 5%," Malik cried out in shock after getting stung again by the Nuturers. He quickly shifted his gaze to the last item in his inventory and pulled it out. Immediately, the spiders started shrieking loudly as webs upon webs began binding his body.
"Curse or not... Primordial Chaos Physique… You're my last hope." Malik bit into the hard shell of the egg with his teeth as cracks appeared on it, and he gulped down all its content.
At that moment, the Nuturers stopped attacking as they watched him consume the egg of their Queen. After a few seconds, the empty shell fell from his hand and his body laid limp on the ground with no sound of movement.
Shriek… Shriek…
The Nuturers cried loudly as they all rushed to claim his body or have a share—when a fearsome aura gushed out from his body, causing them to freeze in place.
Ping!

Notifications rang out in Malik's mind as his HP returned to full, and he could feel a fearsome energy radiating from his body.
"This Primordial Chaos Stone from Qing'er is truly awesome. I feel more alive than before." Malik said as he continued crawling forward, while the Nuturers fled from his terrifying aura.
After some seconds, he finally found his way out of the hole, a fearsome aura radiating from his body. He wore the Webweaver Cloak over the Lont Knight Gear and wielded a sharp sword in his left hand and the Nuturer Fang in his right.
"My greediness paid off…" Malik laughed out loud as he turned to the spiders, who immediately turned back and fled for their lives.
"The spiders are running away from me? Why? Did I get too OP?" Malik quickly pulled up his status page.

"I'm fully geared in Bronze-rank weapons. I'm invisible to those players below Level 5."
"But still, it amounts to nothing. I'm still an ant compared to those top players. Nevertheless, my progress ain't bad. This is all thanks to my physique."
"My skill Eyes of Insight has dropped to C Rank. No wonder I couldn't see the attack pattern or any detailed information about the Spider Queen."
"But my Intelligence really rose up despite nothing directly boosting it. Or is it a boost from the spiritual energy?"
I remember that Cultivators in those Xianxia novels need great understanding to help them break through. It should be the same with me, right?
Malik, without wasting time, put all 20 stat points into Intelligence just to confirm his hypothesis, and at that moment, he felt something surge within him.
"It really worked. My Spiritual Energy has been boosted from 300 to 400 points after assigning the 20 stats to Intelligence. I have to increase the Intelligence attribute—no matter what."
"No wonder those Cultivators in Chinese novels have to gain insight before they break through, comprehending different Dao."
"Gosh… How come I never thought about that? With my spiritual energy, my attacks will be far greater than before. And to boost it further, I need to gain more insight into…"
Gbam!
Malik turned toward the direction instantly to see a white woven web on the floor. The webbed bundle had fallen from where it was hanging.
"What's in there?" Malik quickly rushed over and slashed the web open with his sharp sword, revealing a lady dressed in a tattered dress. The lady looked to be around his age, her eyes closed and breathing heavy. Clutched to her chest were some herbs, and Malik—forgetting he was in a game world—was overtaken by shock until his Eyes of Insight auto-activated.
[Gul's Daughter – Level 4 NPC]
HP: 50/200
"Gul's Daughter… She's Gul's daughter…" The shock on Malik's face intensified.
"No wonder they couldn't find her. She was trapped by the Nuturers, captured as food for the Queen."
"To think she's on her last leg… I better rush her back to Lont." Malik quickly sheathed his sword and returned the dagger to his inventory. He carried the lady in a bridal style as he rushed toward the exit.
"Foolish me. I never thought about the spiders. What if they attack me? How am I supposed to defend myself?"
Surprisingly, the Nuturers were just hanging on the walls and corners, not daring to come close to Malik.
"What on earth is this?" Malik asked as he pulled up his status page. His eyes were drawn to a new tab that wasn't there before.
