After silently marveling at the little fox's miraculous mindset, Mu Tianyuan picked up the little fox and sat back down on the long bench, a bit puzzled. "By the way, do you know why you became like this, and why I got a legacy from a game, and a broken one at that?"

"I don't know. I don't know any of those questions you're asking." The little fox shook its head in confusion, then added, "Anyway, ever since I woke up, I found myself in your bag. Then a voice told me to assist you, and also gave you your phone. Finally, after you accepted the legacy, I also received some miscellaneous messages, and then nothing else!"

"Why do I always feel like you're more confused than I am?" Mu Tianyuan, after a moment of silence, looked at the little fox and replied somewhat helplessly. The little fox shook its head and sincerely said, "That's right, don't forget I'm just a fox!"

"...You have a point." Mu Tianyuan nodded speechlessly, then looked at the little fox and said, "By the way, I remember at the beginning of the game, that auxiliary spirit seemed to be a beautiful woman in white, right? How did you devolve into a fox?"

Mu Tianyuan clearly remembered that at the beginning of the game, during the newbie tutorial, a white fox would poof and turn into a beautiful woman to teach players how to play, and also serve as an auxiliary spirit for inquiries later on. How did this beautiful big sister in white devolve back into a fox now?

"How would I know that?! All I have in my head is common sense and all those Myriad Beast Sect things I told you about. Nothing else." The little fox answered quite righteeously. After a moment of silence, the little fox suddenly said, "By the way, do you think I can still turn back into a human?"

"Who are you asking? I also want you to turn back into a human." Mu Tianyuan shrugged and replied. When the little fox heard Mu Tianyuan's words, it immediately stared at him vigilantly and said, "Why are you so eager for me to turn into a human? Could it be... you want to do a fox?"

"...Your common sense definitely has problems..." Mu Tianyuan almost choked to death on the fox's words. After being silent for a long while, Mu Tianyuan finally stared at the little fox and answered seriously.

"No, no, no, it's because there are many similar stories in Liaozhai!" The little fox shook its head directly and explained. Mu Tianyuan, after listening, rolled his eyes and said, "So your common sense definitely has problems. Whose common sense is from Liaozhai?"

"Mine is just like that! Not only Liaozhai, I also have Fengshen Bang, the Four Great Classical Novels, poetry and songs, and five thousand years of history. Can you control that? Are you not allowed to love classical literature and history?" The little fox glared at Mu Tianyuan and answered righteously. To this, Mu Tianyuan could only shrug, indicating he had no opinion. As long as this person's hobbies didn't harm others, who cared!

Then, Mu Tianyuan placed the little fox on his shoulder, picked up his backpack, and dragged his suitcase towards the park exit. The little fox asked, somewhat puzzled, "Have you decided where to go?"

"Decided, of course, back to our home!" Mu Tianyuan nodded forcefully, then strode out of the park, replying as he walked. The little fox, hearing this, suddenly muttered softly, "You said 'our' home?"

"Of course! Otherwise, where can we go? You're not really planning to stay in this broken park waiting for rescue, are you?" Mu Tianyuan replied without hesitation. The little fox didn't speak, but a human-like smile appeared at the corner of its mouth. Mu Tianyuan's simple phrase "our home" made the little fox feel that he had completely accepted her as his own... his own fox. Otherwise, he wouldn't have used the word "our."

After being silent for a while, the little fox suddenly spoke, "How do you plan to go home? Or rather, do you know where home is?"

"What's there to not know? Once we're back in our country, that's our territory. Going home will be too easy then." Mu Tianyuan replied indifferently. He had already decided that no matter why he was inexplicably thrown into Japan, his first priority now was to find a way to return to his country!

"Then how do you plan to go back? Run back? I must remind you, you don't have the ability to travel a thousand li by day and eight hundred li by night." The little fox asked curiously after hearing Mu Tianyuan's plan. Mu Tianyuan, still walking, said, "I know that without you reminding me, and besides, even if I had that ability, I couldn't go back. Don't forget there's an ocean in between."

Then, without waiting for the little fox to speak again, Mu Tianyuan said, "Do you know what an airplane is? We'll fly back! If that doesn't work, we can go to the embassy. Anyway, I'm not staying here."

"You're taller, so you decide." The little fox naturally had no objections, so it swayed its head in agreement. Then the little fox said, "But you know, I think the first thing we should do is find something to eat. I feel a bit hungry!"

"You've got a point!" Mu Tianyuan nodded, then said, "But that's not called foraging, that's called finding something to eat."

"Is there a difference?" The little fox tilted its head and looked at Mu Tianyuan. Mu Tianyuan thought for a moment and said, "To be honest, there's no difference."

Just as he was about to leave the small park, Mu Tianyuan suddenly stopped and looked seriously at the little fox. "There's something I need to remind you. Don't speak in front of outsiders. Otherwise, scaring people is one thing, but I'm afraid you'll be caught and dissected."

"Don't worry, I'm not that silly. I naturally know this!" The little fox casually nodded when it heard Mu Tianyuan's instruction. It was a fox, a smart animal, how could it not know even this?

"But you were chatting so happily with me in public before." Mu Tianyuan reminded the little fox with a helpless glance. This fellow was chatting happily with him right at the bustling train station entrance just now! And now this fellow has the nerve to say she knows?

Then Mu Tianyuan looked at the little fox and said, "In short, when there are people around, never speak. Even if something happens, hold it in and wait until no one is around to talk. I don't want to see you appear before me as a fur product."

"No need for all that trouble, we can communicate telepathically!" The little fox swayed its head proudly when it heard Mu Tianyuan's words. Mu Tianyuan, on the other hand, rolled his eyes and said, "Oh, please. Telepathic communication? You... Wait! What's going on? Can it really be telepathic communication?"

Mu Tianyuan only realized something astonishing halfway through his sentence. The little fox hadn't opened its mouth when it spoke just now! Could it really be telepathic communication?

"Of course! Can you stop being so surprised?" The little fox rolled its eyes at Mu Tianyuan, then continued, "Actually, you can too, but currently only with me. Why don't you try?"

Mu Tianyuan, hearing this, tried it out with anticipation and was surprised to find that he really could! Mu Tianyuan was instantly delighted. This was convenient! Now he wouldn't have to worry about others hearing his conversations with the little fox!

After getting the silent communication mode sorted, Mu Tianyuan walked out of the park while telepathically communicating with the little fox. After a few steps, Mu Tianyuan suddenly had a new question. He looked down at the suitcase in his hand, somewhat conflicted. "Do you think this suitcase is mine?"

If Mu Tianyuan remembered correctly, the stewardess gave him that suitcase. At the time, his mind was so muddled he couldn't even figure out where he was, so he certainly didn't have the presence of mind to think about the suitcase. He just took it because it was given to him. But now, Mu Tianyuan was a little puzzled: was this really his?!

"Who knows? Anyway, it's in your hand now. Even if it's not yours, you're not losing anything, are you?" The little fox swayed its head and replied when it heard Mu Tianyuan's words. Mu Tianyuan thought about it and realized it seemed to be the case, so he nodded and walked outside. Since he had already decided to eat first, Mu Tianyuan planned to find a place to quickly grab something to eat. After eating, he would immediately figure out a way to return to his country!

But just as Mu Tianyuan found a store and was about to go in for a bite, he suddenly remembered a crucial question: did he even have money to pay for it?!

Just as Mu Tianyuan was about to check if he had any money on him, he suddenly saw a mature and beautiful woman in a professional skirt suit running towards him. As she ran, she excitedly called out, "Xiao Mu! I finally found you!"

The little fox looked at her, then turned to Mu Tianyuan and said, "It seems she's looking for you?"

"Looks like it?" Mu Tianyuan replied with some uncertainty. Then Mu Tianyuan frowned and muttered, "By the way, why does this beautiful woman look so familiar?"

Mu Tianyuan only felt that the beautiful woman in front of him looked familiar, but before he could figure out the situation, the mature beauty came up to Mu Tianyuan and excitedly grabbed his hand, "I'm sorry, Xiao Mu, I'm really sorry."

"Uh, hello, excuse me..." Mu Tianyuan was bewildered by the situation, but before he could ask, Mu Tianyuan suddenly pointed at the beautiful woman in front of him in surprise and loudly said, "You are..."

Unfortunately, before Mu Tianyuan could finish speaking, he felt a sudden heaviness in his head and stumbled. He didn't know how much time passed, but when Mu Tianyuan looked up at the beautiful woman who was holding his arm, her face full of concern, he smiled bitterly. Then he turned to look at the little fox, who was also looking at him with concern, and in their unique way, he said, "I think we're in trouble, and it's big trouble. She's Eri Kisaki, Ran Mouri's biological mother..."
