The drive to the restaurant was dead silent, a series of things going through Eli and Nicholas' minds,
"WHO THE FUCK ARE THEY? WHO GAVE THEM THE BALLS TO INTERFERE WITH MR OYE'S BUSINESS?"
Both of them were pissed but still maintained a cool demeanour.
When they finally arrived at the restaurant.
It was like the world stopped moving for a while, everybody stopped what they were doing momentarily, and stared in the direction of the Audi Sport car.
Gently, the men stepped out, jaw drops and mouths were wide open, it was like they were looking at a doll, even when it was clearly visible at this point that these men were rage-filled when they saw the situation that the restaurant was in, but they remain undeniably captivating to people within and in the restaurant.
Eli first stepped out of the car, and he noticed that the restaurant's front window had been broken; these vagabonds even brought a vehicle to transport the restaurant's belongings.
"Their audacity is so tremendous".
Eli said while he closed the car door and walked towards the entrance.
When Eli stepped into the restaurant, at the far right corner he saw a man sexually assaulting the receptionist.
"What the hell do you think you're doing".
Eli said furiously.
"Who's that bastard barking like a dog?"
The gang leader responded instantly.
"The bastard is about to make you regret setting foot here." Eli said calm but in cold voice, "I'll give you the last opportunity to drop all what you're doing and get the fuck out of here."
The gang leader "sneered".
"Who the fuck do you think you are? I'll cut your face out from your head and have it delivered to your mother."
Eli said nothing but turned around and headed to the door awaiting Nicholas' presence. Immediately, Nicholas came in, and Eli closed the door.
"You see, you can't leave now". Eli announced.
The gang leader could feel the demeanour coming from Eli; except for the gang leader, the rest of his boys' faces dropped, and they lost the courage to speak. They become weak instantly, and the strength to transport anything vanishes.
At that moment, it was like the devil was in their midst, and he was ready to consume all of them at once.
To ease the tension on his boys, the gang leader threw a kitchen knife towards Eli, and it was like Eli saw it coming, he dodged swiftly. Without hesitation, Eli and Nicholas moved at once.
Eli is focused on the gang leader while Nicholas is ready to take his boys down.
"Crack".
"God! My jaw!"
The gang leader screamed.
Within five minutes, they were all already on the ground, groaning in pain.
Nicholas had to stop Eli when he noticed the gang leader had stopped moving.
"Eli, that's enough," Nicholas said, breathing heavily.
"Peace is a choice," Eli responded briefly.
Two police officers rushed in, and the sight they met was confusing, but it was visible enough that the men groaning on the floor were the criminals, but who were these men standing like warriors?
"Good day! I am Officer Hannah and this is Officer Joseph. We were notified about a robbery going on in this restaurant."
"It's been over 10 minutes since this scenario was reported. Why are you just coming now?" Eli responded.
"Or don't you know this was the restaurant being robbed?" Nicholas said while he stepped closer to Hannah with an unwavering gaze.
"We were all alerted about a criminal's escape downtown, sorry for the delay, sir". She knows he is not an ordinary person because she can feel his authority.
"But I'll give you a business card, so you can reach the high-ranking customer service next time anything happens and your request will be carried out immediately." She continued.
When the officers finished arresting the vagabonds, Hannah approached Nicholas and Eli who were standing opposite the receptionist, comforting her for what had happened earlier.
"Sir, we will attend to your request instantly when you reach us through this line. Hannah said.
Nicholas just gave her his phone and turned back to the receptionist.
"I'll propose more advanced security tactics to Mr Oye to ensure that something like this never occurs again in a high-ranking restaurant," Eli said to Nicholas.
"That's the place I'll be starting from, brother. This is truly a high-ranking restaurant, and customers' peace should never be disrupted, no matter the location." Nicholas responded.
Nicholas instructed the restaurant manager to call the cleaner to clean up, close down the restaurant, and arrange for the replacement and repair of any spoiled items in the restaurant.
The receptionist was the only lady who was assaulted and injured. Nicholas booked her a session at the hospital with his personal doctor and gave her his number if she needed anything else.
Back at Mr. Oye's House.
"The manager just called me right now, I was shocked about his report". Mr Oye said.
The police couldn't get there as fast as possible, so we had to interfere before things got out of hand". Nicholas responded.
"Hmm, was that part of the training at camp?". Mr Oye asked.
"It's all about the necessities a man must acquire," Eli said calmly.
"I have complete confidence that my legacy is secure in capable hands.
Mr Oye continued, "Eli, Nicholas will take over from now henceforth, and I want you to stay by his side."
"Yes, sir. Your command is my wish." Eli bowed his head, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over him.
"I will schedule a family meeting and ensure the board is informed. Thank you, Eli."
