Location: Rebellion Base – Sector Blackroot
A sense of calm had settled over the Rebellion—calm that felt too clean, too complete. The kind of silence that came before a world was reset by violence.
Kai stood in the main strategy hall, surrounded by holograms of Rebellion operations. Ralen, Nyra, Commander Jules, and several other unit leaders were in attendance.
Ralen adjusted his glasses, tension in his eyes. "Scouting units in Eastern Fringe haven't checked in for two days. No messages. No signal loss warnings. They didn't vanish—they were erased."
Jules scowled. "Could be Thrones retaliating after the defeat of Elior."
Kai shook his head. "No. This is something else."
He looked at the screen—a growing red patch over the Eastern Fringe. Reality itself pulsed unnaturally there, like a virus in the code of existence.
Nyra stepped forward, arms crossed. "It's them, isn't it? The ones Nyxrial warned about."
Kai nodded. "The Null Crown."

Scene: Ambush in the Eastern Fringe
Three elite Rebellion squads had been dispatched to investigate. They never returned.
But from Kai's request, one drone survived long enough to send a live feed—before something corrupted it.
The footage played on the screen.
An empty valley. Broken watchtowers. A thick fog that seemed to consume light.
And then… a figure.
A woman floated silently across the screen, draped in a cloak of fraying space. Her face was blank—no eyes, no mouth. Just smooth void.
Behind her, shapes followed. Men? Beasts? Both? Their forms flickered between logic and madness.
> "We bring the Silence of All."
"The Rewrite must not reach Completion."
"Erase the Heart."
The feed cut off.
Everyone in the room went quiet.
Commander Jules gritted his teeth. "These… things. They talk like A.I.s but warp like gods."
Kai clenched his fist. "And they're coming."

Scene: Growing Tension in the Ranks
After the meeting, Kai walked through the camp, passing soldiers training, engineers repairing defense lines, medics tending to minor injuries.
But there was a buzz in the air—not just alertness. Uncertainty. Fear. Doubt.
As Kai walked by, voices whispered:
> "He beat Elior… but now what?"
"Who even is Kai? He rewrites reality—what if he rewrites us?"
"I heard he talked to one of the Voidborn…"
That last one made Kai pause.
They didn't fear the Thrones anymore.
Now, they feared him.

Scene: Fractures Emerge
Later, in the command chamber, Ralen approached Kai privately.
"I've been monitoring morale… and whispers."
Kai sighed. "Let me guess—some of the leadership wants me restrained?"
Ralen hesitated. "Not all. But Commander Jules is rallying a faction. He doesn't trust powers that can warp the fabric of law. They want control codes built into your System interface. 'For safety.'"
Kai's jaw clenched.
Control codes?
Chains.
"Tell Jules he can bring his concerns to me directly," Kai said, voice cold. "And if he tries to insert control programs without my permission... I will Rewrite his memory so he forgets how to breathe."
Ralen blinked. "Noted."

Scene: Null Crown Assault Begins
Night fell.
Sirens screamed.
Explosions rocked Sector Blackroot.
> [ALERT: Multiple Dimensional Breaches Detected. Unknown Hostiles Entering From All Angles.]
Outside, the fog rolled in—not weather, but a substance.
Living. Sentient. Consuming.
The Null Crown had arrived.
A giant figure emerged from the mist—seven arms, rotating heads, each speaking in riddles.
> "He who Builds must be Broken."
"He who Defies must be Erased."
"The Sovereign's Rewrite is an Error."
Soldiers opened fire. Energy weapons, plasma bombs, enchanted blades.
Nothing worked.
Bullets turned to butterflies mid-air.
Missiles reversed and exploded inside their launchers.

Scene: Kai Unleashed
Kai stepped onto the battlefield, Nyra beside him.
His eyes glowed a brilliant silver.
> [Reality Rewrite – Slot 2: "Law of Reversal: Null Entities = Tangible"]
[Active Rewrite]
The fog hissed as it lost its invincibility.
Kai moved like a storm. His fist shattered space; his aura radiated rebellion.
One by one, Null agents screamed—an alien, high-pitched vibration—before their bodies collapsed into dust.
Nyra followed with a lightning bolt of starfire, slicing through a hundred shadows at once.
They held the line.
For now.

Scene: A Line Crossed
Back at the command center, Jules activated a hidden command code.
> [SYSTEM ATTEMPT: Overwrite Target – KAI]
– Initiating Command Lock…
> [Access Denied.]
Kai's voice whispered directly into Jules' mind.
"I told you not to try."
Jules collapsed, clutching his head. His memories scattered—he forgot the word "betrayal," and the feeling of fear.
Rebellion stood divided.
But Kai had chosen.
And war had begun.
