His father's words made the boy fueled in rage. "Why didn't you tell me the truth?! You said mother died because she's was attacked by those mortals ruthlessly!?" He angrily said. "And here I am, believing your words for you are my father, blindingly? How could you do this to me!!!?"
Sui became quiet. "How could you lie to your own son? A son who believed and seeking vengeance on something who has nothing to do for the death of his mother!?" Lucas wanted to get away from his father but because of his fatigue, he's too weak to support his body, making him trip on the floor. "LUCAS!!" Shouted from Sui but Lucas slapped his hand, glaring. "STAY AWAY FROM ME, DAMN DECEIVER!!!"
Seeing the rage reflected on his son's eyes, Lian Sui left his son alone. Inside, Lucas cried out loud, releasing everything. "What's the purpose getting stronger after knowing I'm the very cause of my mother's death???!" He screamed. "Are all my efforts means nothing??! Is my pursuit of power— pointless?!"
Behind the door, Lian Sui's eavesdropping his son and he, too, regret feeding his son lies upon. "I'm sorry, Lucas... I'm terribly sorry." Both feel grief.
One day later.....
Sui felt bad leaving his son wallow in grief, therefore, the man toughen himself and confronted his son. He knocks the door and to his surprise, the door's not locked so, he goes in. "Umm....Lucas? May I have a moment with you?" Lucas didn't respond, making Sui feel uneasy. Still, the guy didn't cower, instead, he goes near to him. "Lucas I apologize for the things I did last day. My concern went off, resulting to— spit the truth unknowingly. What's worse is, I fed you lies and didn't realize that it was the very core of your determination to get stronger. I... I know apologies aren't enough to please you but— that's all I can say."
Sui let out a deep sigh. "Your mother died giving birth, and— given how proud you look, I...." Lucas put his arms on his waist. "It's because I look proud and scared of disgrace, you used humans as an excuse to make me believe that it was them who killed my mother?" Sui is silenced. "Say father, why? Why's our kind bear grudge against those from the mortal realm? What do they do to deserve our rage?"
"It all starts with your grandfather. You see, no one knows the root of his grudge but all I heard is that— in your grandfather's early reign, our citizens coexist in peace at the mortal realm. They live away from the mortals. That's what I heard from the elderly though. But the cause of his rage remains unraveled. I hope that answers everything."
"I see." Lucas came to conclusion and Sui, once again, begged for forgiveness by kneeling, letting his head kiss the ground. "I'm sorry for lying to you, Lucas. I'm so sorry." Lucas pats his father's shoulders. "That's okay. I don't mind it anymore. Though, my main reason of getting stronger blitz to nothingness, protecting this kingdom hasn't."
"Say father, did you hate the Champion of Mortals, Lunaria? Grandfather's killed by her and I understand— somehow, you want me to hate her too by twisting the truth." Sui let out a faint smug. "Say, my father's a tyrant and I lack love from him. But— he raised me well and turn me what I am now."
"I dunno the reason behind my father's grudge against mankind, and I don't want to participate on his cause of hatred and bloodbath. But— your grandfather, you see, he earned the Void's trust as his will will live on to their very existence. If I don't heed their plea, the Kingdom itself will crumble. And those who hate chaos will be dragged by the majority. So, as leader who's chosen by the citizens with this position, I must comply."
"But father, you're a king, you should've possessed great power to command the army at the tip of your tongue." Lucas wanna clarify. "Lucas, tell me. Who will be the victor? A lone lion or 100 men?" Lucas raised a brow. "What are you trying to say? You're telling me a lone fighter could outmatch an army? Pft??! Of course that would be impossible."
"That's the point." Sui answered and Lucas gave him a bombastic eye. "Yes, we, the Royal Blooded Anherion may be strong but— just like those mortals, we're prone to fatigue and exhaustion. None of Tophet creatures, even the Dwellers, could last battling for eternity. Unless you're a Deity, Armageddon(a divine puppet), and a Domain Guardian."
"In other words, since taking down an army is impossible for us, so, as a leader, both things must be brainstormed thoroughly." Lucas became quiet. "Just admit you don't like stirring trouble and hurt your reputation as the 2nd Void King."
"Oh, come on now. Don't be such a bummer. Who dislikes peace and order?" Sui let out a pouty face and Lucas chuckled. "Just kidding though. Of course, everyone loves that."
"Say father, I'm curious. How do Grandfather stepped on Mortal realm in the first place?" Sui became silent and summoned his gigantic sword. "This is a Legendary Sword, Nebulous."
"Yeah, I know about that! Rumours spreads across the Kingdom and I read— hmm... about some at Royal Library's Archive. The information states that this sword could destroy 1/2 of Void Realm. But some say that the sword itself only lend its power for protecting the Realm." Lucas takes a closer look to the sword. "But seeing it up close makes me question and doubt. Is it really a sword? Why is it so massive? Like— a frigging a size of you, father!? No, taller and heavier."
Sui smiled. "Of course this is a sword. A massive type. But hey? This sword makes itself light as feather if its wielder is a choose one. But if it's not, even all of Abyssal beings couldn't even lift it with a milliliter." Then, he laugh. Just then, Lucas rubs his chin. "Hmm... I also read some intriguing facts about this sword. It says that the Void incarnate, which later known as the Void founder, it is stated that the Void incarnate wielded a powerful weapon that resulted into splitting the Void into 2 sections, The Void & Adamas Realms with its respective kingdoms."
Lucas touched his chin. "No one knows the story about how the void incarnate vanished but his weapon, the The Void Reaper Sword is one to be reckoned with. It is said that this weapon is responsible for splitting the Void into two. Also, speaking of splitting, the Void Reaper Sword, alike with its wielder, split into two, Nebulous & Adamantine Sword. "
"Both swords possessed unique and tremendous powers. And in order to attain Void Reaper Sword, a rightful one must unite the two, isn't that right father?" Lucas checks on Sui but all he got is a jawdrop expression. "Why are you— doing that? Stop it." Lucas closed his jaw then Sui laugh. "Why are laughing? What's funny?"
Sui wiped his tears. "You're one heck of a bookworm, Lucas. Just like your mother." Lucas raised a brow. "Huh? It's only natural I did some research about those weapon... Those two, especially the one in your hands were Heirlooms of their respective kingdoms." Sui pats his son's head. "Hey! What are you doing?!! Cut it out!" — though, Lucas is flattered.
"You're being serious, Lucas. What I'm gonna say is— a kid like you shouldn't be digging the adult-like stuffs ya know?" Sui smiled. "Back when I was in your age, I wasn't that— meehh... That curiousity, advancement of thinking, and unyielding motivation in getting stronger? I hadn't had those traits during your age. All did before is follow what my father wants me and that's rigorous training to beat the Champion of Humanity. That's all."
"Hmm... Father, there's something I'd like to ask. Why is the Void Incarnate split the Void, resulting the existence of our Kingdom and Adamas? If our Kingdom is the last Haven of the Infernals, what does Adamas Kingdom meant for?" Sui sighs. "Seems my expectations never fails me." He manned himself up. "To answer your question, the Void Incarnate had 2 sons, your grandpa and the 1st Ruler of Adamas. Their brotherly bond is unparalleled but then, the moment the Void Incarnate vanished, so is the bond that the brothers shattered."
"Your grandpa has animosity against mankind while the other sibling, sought power to rule both kingdoms. Those greed and wrath falls upon them the moment the Void incarnate, their father, vanished. Surprisingly, the Void Reaper Sword is still whole at that time, and witnessing their desires, the Void Reaper Sword gets to decide which is which it'll offer its aid and one is not." Sui looked at the ceilings.
"The Void Reaper Sword sees your grandpa's cause worthy of its blessing, therefore, it granted your grandpa the power to traverse thru realms. Your uncle, the 1st Adamas Ruler on the other hand, the sword sees his cause a threat against the Void Realm, therefore, the sword didn't bless him the power like what your grandpa had. He's sealed in his realm, like a prison, so as his fellow Adamas Infernals. Only those who are condemned can enter and leave the realm."
"When the Void Reaper Sword splits, your grandpa inherits Nebulous and Adamantine to your uncle. Quite shocking, don't ya think?" Sui looks at his son expectantly but what he sees is a blank expression. "You're not shocked?"
"Well, it's already obvious about the Adamas Ruler, so why would I be shocked? Anyway, I heard that the Adamantine Sword is a double edged sword. It can cut down its own kind. The Adamas Infernals, who are known to possess invincible skin in most of Tophet infernals made them look like they're resistant to magic and physical attacks. That fact alarms the upper realms dare not to have business with them. Except those who dwell in Hellfire realm. The deeper level of Tophet, the more stronger its entities are." Lucas speaks out his mind and Sui smiled. "Well, Hellfire realm only has one being, and that's Ignis. He's a lone one but powerful."
"Either way, you got it right. Though, Nebulous can inflict damage but cannot actually kill them with one swoop." *clears throat* "Now, to answer your second question, Adamas is where infernals reflect their mischief from their previous lives; why they're condemned of second death to begine with. Thus, in Adamas, it is a place where they reflect their wrongdoings when they're in their respective realm. The Void, on the other hand, symbolizes repentance and confession of one's deeds. And so, there's no need for me to elaborate that."
Lucas gone quiet some while and then, when he gazed at the Nebulous sword, "I can't believe this gigantic and plain-looking sword is part of Void Reaper Sword, the sword that is responsible of splitting the Void into two sections."
"Hey, how rude of you to say that." Sui's somehow insulted. "What? It's true! Look how plain-looking it is! It's like— just a heap of metal thrown and molded this sword into what it is! I bet on mortal's weaponry design than this!" Sui comforts the sword, like some sort of a baby. "Shhh... Shh... Don't worry Nebulous, my Son doesn't know your true form, so he's being judgmental. Don't be insulted." Lucas' eye is twitching. "Is my father, talking to a sword??!" He wondered, and just then, the sword glows indigo.
"Oh? You want me to show your real form to Lucas? Sure! Sure!! I'll humbly comply!" He then looked towards Lucas, who's creep out from his talking. "Hey? Don't give me that look! You think I'm talking by myself? Of course, I wasn't! I'm communicating to the Great Nebulous Sword." Lucas remained speechless. "Didn't I told you before that the Void Reaper Sword has a will of its own? Like— how it decides to lend its aid to your grandpa and all? Well, same goes with Nebulous and Adamantine Sword, yaknow!"
"Also, Nebulous wants to show you its true form. It's insulted by your words, not knowing that this very form is just its Concealed Appearance." Lucas eyes widened. "Concealed.... Appearance?"
"Yes! Now son, behold, the true form of Nebulous!" Sui pierced the floor and the sword emits an indigo light and there, it shows its true form, making Lucas jawdrop. "No way! That's the true form of Nebulous?!" The Sword's true form shows 2 main colors, Indigo and Black. It maintained its original size but the plain designed replaced with the 2 colors. The grip is wrapped with Indigo & black, there are 3 diamond-looking shards embedded on thickened quillon, the pommel has a diamond-looking shape, and the color of the blade is dominant black with Indigo strips in it. "Behold, Nebulous True form."
Lucas shows awe. "I can't believe that a sword could conceal its appearance!" The sword glows. "Nebulous wants you to take back your words and kneel." Lucas give out a disgusted look. "It says— WHAT?!"
"No matter, it changed its mind and let you witness the grand form it had." Lucas glare at the sword and the sword itself pulse. "What a prideful heap of metal!" He rants in his thoughts.
"Since this is a heirloom, I am destined to be its wielder?" Sui nods. "I see." He took a closer look. "Though, I hate its prideful nature but its prowess cannot be overlooked."
"Say Lucas, remember the time I asked you about succeeding me as King?" Lucas nods. "Sure I did." Sui smiled. "And I'm surprised you're determined to take such burden, especially at that type of age." Lucas raised a brow. "Say what?"
"Back when I was in your age, like I said to you before, I was forced to take such role. I'm still young when I lost my father during his fierce battle with Humanity's Champion, Lunaria. I don't possess the same motivation as you and— heh.. look at me, still burdened with a burden that I wasn't ready to bear." He shrugs. "Well, in the end, I was left without a choice but to succeed him, whether I like it or not."
"Or— Well, your mother is an intelligent infernal, perhaps that's where you inherit that trait." He felt glad whenever he mentioned his late wife.
"Every Infernals here in Void Realm inherits the name of Anherion. But those who descended on Royal Blood, possessing a birthmark, shall be the one to lead its citizens." Lucas touched the birthmark on his left eye. "Looking at you, you're a promising King with big dreams. I'm sure the main course of it is unity."
"You're knowledgeable at such a young age. In addition of a child's curiosity, it allows you to learn stuffs which I, myself, didn't attained in my late youth. I'm sure, whatever your dreams towarxs kingdom, it shall happen." Lucas blushed then Sui touched the sword and it vanished. "It was fun talking with you son, but— you know what they say, duty calls." Lian Sue left.
At the Mortal realm....
In a training ground, there's a young girl named Luna Lyndricia Lyfriendia, the eldest daughter of Lunaria Lyfrienia. Like her mother, she had her mother's iconic blood-tainted hair and golden eyes. In other words, she's a complete copy of Lunaria, both face and endeavor. Mother and daughter clashed swords, training her daughter to be a strong warrior.
Meanwhile...
Luna fell on her knees, totally exhausted. "Alright, today's training is over." Lunaria concludes but— "Mother, I can still fight! Let's not sto–!?" Lunaria didn't reply, instead, she gave him a stare. "Understood, mother." She withdrawn her dual swords and so is her mother.
While resting, the two of them lean on the bench and Luna drink some water to quench her thirst. "Luna, my child, are you ready to hear another story?" Luna shakes her head. "No thanks, I've had enough with fairy tales. They're overrated and boring."
"What if I tell you that this story is special? A real life event?" Luna rubs her chin. "Real life, huh? Sounds interesting. Spill the beans, mother. BUT—!!? if this so-called special story is another knockoff of fairy tales, I won't bother listening any of your story, geddit?" Lunaria laughs. "Alright, alright, I get ya. Now, listen carefully for what I'm about to tell."
