c11: Uchiha Itachi First Battle
(Half a month later, at night, Port of Water 7)
"We've finally arrived. Everyone, rest up. We land tomorrow."
(The next morning...)
"Good morning, Robin!"
"Good morning, Captain!"
"The system, summon a character."
"Random character summoning in progress."
A golden summoning gate formed before Moran, shimmering with intensifying light.
As the glow peaked, a tall young man emerged. He wore a high-collared cloak with a red cloud pattern on a black background, two pronounced tear troughs under his eyes.
"Congratulations to the host for successfully summoning."
As always, the system automatically embedded One Piece world knowledge and host context into the mind of the summoned character.
Character: Uchiha Itachi

"Welcome, Itachi. This is the world of One Piece."
"Are you Lord Moran?"
"A voice already briefed me on the general situation here."
"Good. Then come start a new chapter."
"Understood, Lord Moran."
"Come, I'll introduce you to our crew."
"Are they also from other worlds?"
"Some are, some aren't. You'll learn with time."
"Chitong, everyone come out! We have a new crewmate."
"This is Uchiha Itachi. Itachi, this is Akahito, this is Acedes, this is Nico Robin."
"Captain and I—" Van Augur called as he approached briskly.
"Yo, if it isn't our sniper Van Augur. I wasn't even looking for you yet. How'd you know I'd arrived?"
"Captain, you're a Shichibukai now. Word travels fast across the Grand Line. Wasn't hard to find."
"Well done. Is the ship ready?"
"Finished days ago. I've been bounty hunting since. Earned 100 million Berries in the meantime."
"Not bad at all, Van Augur."
"All right, let's go ashore, little ones."
"It's the captain!"
"It's the captain!"
"It's the captain!"
"It's the captain!"
"It's the captain!"
Moran's eyes lit up when he saw the ship. It was similar in structure to the future Thousand Sunny but with a dragon figurehead, a sleeker design, and a hull painted in deep blue.
"Whoa! This ship is gorgeous!" Chitong exclaimed as she leapt aboard.
The vessel had three levels. The lower deck housed storage rooms and the kitchen. The middle deck had a central lounge, a fish tank, and ten smaller rooms. The upper deck featured five spacious cabins for senior crew.
"From now on, this ship will be called: Battle for Thousand Miles."
"If you want to shop, be quick. Get Berries from the ship."
"Long live the captain!"
"Itachi, come with me. I've got a mission for you."
"I understand. I will fulfill it as promised."
"Van Augur, help me move our supplies onto the new ship."
"Captain, I want to go shopping too!"
"No. You'll just cause trouble."
Acedes returned shortly after with only one item—a large bed—which she placed directly into Moran's room instead of her own.
Moran didn't need to ask. He understood exactly what she wanted.
Elsewhere…
Rob Lucci was on a Den Den Mushi call with Spandam.
Blueno had reported seeing Nico Robin inside a bar near Dock 1.
The full CP9 unit had gathered and was reporting intel to Spandam at Enies Lobby.
After the call, Lucci glanced at the team with his usual cold expression.
"The director gave the order. Apprehend her at once. No mistakes."
Nico Robin was alone in the market, browsing a vendor's bookstall, when several figures emerged and silently surrounded her.
"Who are you—and what do you want?"
"Nico Robin, we are agents of the World Government. Please come with us!"
What should I do? I shouldn't have come to buy books alone.
Rob Lucci stepped forward. Robin was completely surrounded and had no route to escape. Just as despair crept in, a calm voice echoed behind them.
"Hey. What exactly do you think you're doing to my crewmate?"
Robin turned in surprise. "Mr. Itachi? Why are you here?"
"You need to go find the captain and ask him to help. These men are from the World Government," she said quickly.
"The captain sent me. You don't have to worry. No one's taking you anywhere."
"Who are you, and what's your relationship with Nico Robin?" Blueno asked warily.
"Blueno, don't waste time," Lucci said. "Whoever he is, if he stands in the way, take him down."
"Rokushiki: Rankyaku!"
Lucci unleashed a flurry of air blades with a sweeping Tempest Kick. The slicing wind surged toward Itachi. But as the smoke cleared, all they saw were a mass of black feathers scattering into the sky—crows. Itachi was no longer in front of them but already standing silently behind Lucci.
"Lucci, he's behind you!" cried the CP9 agents.
"Phoenix Fire Technique."
Itachi turned away from Lucci and unleashed a volley of flaming projectiles from his mouth, targeting the other CP9 agents.
"Phoenix Sage Fire Claw Crimson."
The moment the fireballs made contact, the burning shuriken followed, embedding into their formation before the smoke had even cleared.
The entire assault happened in a blur. When Lucci spun around, Itachi was already beside Robin, standing calmly.
As the dust settled, all CP9 members except Lucci were on the ground, badly burned or unconscious.
"Mr. Itachi, you're incredible!" Robin gasped.
But Itachi remained silent, cold as ever, his gaze focused ahead.
"The target is powerful. We'll take him together!" Lucci growled.
"Soru!"
"Great Fireball Technique."
As the CP9 members attempted to rush Itachi, a massive ball of fire burst from his mouth, engulfing the battlefield. It was as if they had thrown themselves into the inferno willingly.
They were all struck directly by the fireball. When the flames cleared, only Lucci and Blueno remained standing. Blueno wasted no time.
"The enemy is too strong. I'll take the injured. Hold them off if you can."
Without a word, Blueno opened an Air Door and escaped with the fallen CP9 agents.
Lucci transformed mid-step into his hybrid form, a towering human-leopard hybrid. Using Soru, he flashed right in front of Itachi—but the moment he made eye contact, he froze.
Blood-red pupils with a three-bladed pattern slowly rotated within Itachi's eyes.
"Tsukuyomi."
In an instant, Lucci was pulled into a crimson-colored mental world. Chains bound him to a cross. Before him stood Itachi, calmly holding a blade.
"In this world, I control everything space, time, sensation."
Itachi stabbed without pause, his monotone voice echoing with each strike.
Lucci was slashed, broken, and shattered thousands of times inside the illusion. Yet in reality, only a second had passed.
Robin saw Lucci step forward then collapse like a puppet with its strings cut.
Itachi walked over, seized Lucci by the leg, and dragged him unceremoniously toward the port.
Robin blinked. The new crewmate Captain brought… he's unbelievably dependable.
"Mr. Itachi, what happened to him?"
"I'm not sure. Maybe he was just tired and fell asleep."
Robin narrowed her eyes, unconvinced. "If you're going to lie, at least try to make it sound real," she muttered as she quickly followed behind him.
