"Ding Xi'an we were really scared...why did you have to do what you did?" Yu Yan said to her daughter still crying. After Ding Xian's fall , she was rushed to the hospital where she was told that her leg was completely damaged and that she would never be a able to walk again. They were still trying to take in the news of that one when another came to them after a month that Ding Xi'an had gone missing from campus. No matter their efforts to find Ding Xi'an but everything was to no avail. Everyone was devastated and sad about her sudden appearance though they still believed that she was alive not until came across the country that a girl was recorded to have committed suicide and Ding Xi'an's shoes were found in the river. It was at that time that everything changed.
"What are you talking about mum?" Ding Xi'an asked confused. What did her mum mean?
"Why did you have to commit suicide...why did you have to throw yourself into the river? If you were really facing tough times you could have told us? I know we treated you badly and all but...why?" Yu Yan asked cleaning her tears with her back palm.
"Suicide?" Ding Xi'an asked looking confused. So Feifei had already faked her death? She was really ready and got everything planned up, if she had not gotten reincarnated maybe no one would never find out that Feifei was responsible for trying to kill her.
"Why are you looking so confused... didn't you commit suicide?" Zhang Quain asked
"She can't remember anything" Xiaofeng finally spoke and everyone turned to her. Since they arrived no one had noticed her presence till now.
"Are you the one that saved her?" Yan want asked
"Yes...Ding Xi'an lost her last memory. She can't remember what really happened to her. If she committed suicide or not" Xiaofeng explained with a serious look.
"How did you save her?" Yu Yan asked with curiosity.
"Though I didn't find her in the river or anything. I found her tied up in the forest. I was walking past the forest that night when I had tiny voices so I decided to check what it was and I found her" Xiaofeng explained and walked closer to Yu Yan" I took her to the hospital and she fell into a coma after that" Xiaofeng finished .
"Thank you very much" Yu Yan said warmly" it's okay I was doing what every sane person would do?"
"Take XianXian to her room and give her a nice shower and give her nice clothes to wear. After she's done bring her down for dinner" Yu Yan said finally feeling revived and okay. For some months now she had been on the bed, weak and pale but today she feels like there has been nothing wrong with her.
"Okay maybe" one of the maid said and took Ding Xi'an away . As Ding Xian passed through Feifei, Ding Xian stared at voldly and Feifei shivered. Didn't they say she had a memory loss? Why was she staring like that?
Ding Xian was taken to the room and was given a warm and nice shower. After the shower she was given a short white floral dress to put on and her hair was made in a rough bun style. As her hair was being done, Ding Xian stared at the mirror, the scar was so hideous. How long does she have to keep this on her face? Ding Xi'an said gently caressing the scar. This scar was caused by the fire accident she experienced in school which gave her an ugly mark before she fell from the building and broke her leg. All this the fire, the fall from a very tall building and the severe beating and stabbing she experienced , everything only had one mastermind and that was Feifei. She had truly gone through a lot in this life but not anymore she wasn't going to let anyone trample upon her again.
All her life she always took the blame for the crimes committed by Feifei, back then she had only seen it as a normal thing at least Feifei was her loving sister so she was ready to take any blame for her happiness but she was only being used. She became a problem for her parents, and her parents praised Feifei endlessly but rebuked her. And still she admired Feifei. Hmph,what a stupid life I've lived. Ding Xian was not going to take nonsense anymore.
Just then the door opened and Feifei walked in smiling awkwardly. She expected Ding Xi'an to be really excited to see her but Ding Xi'an remained focused on the mirror like no one had walked. She had really change or was it just her thinking.
" Ding Xi'an" Feifei called out softly and Ding Xian turned her head to her direction.
"Hey Feifei" Ding Xi'an said smiling warmly and Feifei sighed in relief. It seemed like Ding Xian truly did lose her memory.
"Downstairs you ignored me. Didn't you miss me at all?" Feifei asked walking closer to her.
"I didn't..why should I?" Ding Xi'an replied immediately and Feifei paused in her steps looking shocked at Ding Xi'an reply.
"I'm just kidding of course I did... you were the person I missed most" Ding Xi'an smiled and returned to looking at the mirror. Feifei stood at a distance staring at Ding Xi'an . Her character was really creeping her out.
"How do I look? I mean the scar what do you think? I'm I ugly Feifei?" Ding Xi'an asked with a sad expression.
"Oh no darling... you're looking as beautiful as ever" Feifei said and rushed to Ding Xian's side . She came here to check if Ding Xi'an really loosed her memory.
A hint of hatred flashed through Ding Xian's eyes but she quickly smiled back" does that mean that I don't have to put on the face mask?"
"Of course.. what do you need it for" Feifei said, it seemed like Ding Xian still respected her alot. Though Ding Xi'an was back she wasn't going to let her last long but this time she would truly make life tough and miserable for her and make her take her own life by herself.
Oh course,she would surely say yes. Before after the fire accident . Ding Xian would ask Feifei if it was okay for her to walk in public without a mask and Feifei would tell her not to wear any but to be proud of herself rather. Then she would always think that Feifei was right why should she hide herself but she didn't know that Feifei just wanted to humiliate her. And not surprising it's the same as now.
"Okay" Ding Xi'an simply replied and Feifei smiled .
