Chapter 2 - Mobile Suit Gundam

"So this is the Red Fountain academy. Not so shabby." Brandon aka Sky, hidden prince of Eraklyon, compliments as he and his friend, Sky aka Brandon, disembark their ship upon arrival.

You see how complicated this is gonna be with their switched identities? Too bad.

"If my Intel is right, I would like it here." Sky took the lead as the disguised prince with Brandon taking his side as his Royal Bodyguard.

"You just like it here because of Alfea and Cloud Tower being nearby." Brandon gave his friend an unamused stare. Please don't ruin his reputation as a flirt. He still has an image to keep.

Sky chuckled at the look given by the disguised prince, "Don't worry, I won't be a flirt here." Yet.

"Somehow, I'm not convinced." Brandon replied blandly before continuing their journey to their new homes for the next three years. His friend followed with a laugh at his expense.

Sometimes, the urge to throttle his friend is strong.

A few minutes later...

"Finally, this place is like a maze." Sky groaned in relief as they finally found the dormitories. Brandon agreed with him, they walked for minutes, going in circles to find the dormitories.

They should have checked the school map at first instead of listening to Sky's suggestion of finding it themselves.

Opening the door, both are surprised to see two other students are already inside the four man room.

Here a long lasting friendship was born.

---------------

Meanwhile on the other side of the school.

"Is this perfect for you, young Alexi."

"It is, Headmaster Saladin. Thanks for making this exception for me."

"It's now sweat on my back, young man. Just tell me if you need something." The old man offered.

"Noted and thanks again, Headmaster. I'll start unpacking and setting up shop now."

"Then don't let me delay you any further." Headmaster Saladin dismissed the boy, watching him turn away and into his 'Special designated room'.

More like an isolation room.

Headmaster Saladin watched as the armored figure, his new and most problematic student, marched to his new prison for the next three years with a bitter taste in his mouth. The room itself is nothing more than a cube room made of anti magic steel.

He hates it.

And his poor student has no choice either.

His name is Alexi Lenox, a young and brilliant boy from Zenith. Blessed in academics, magic and combat ability, the boy can go anywhere he wants with his talents. Yet fate is a fickle thing.

Alexi is afflicted by an illness never seen across the entire magic dimension.

Magic Overloading.

An illness that forces the body to constantly produce magic with no sign of stopping, threatening the patient's body to overload and be poisoned by their own magic. Sometimes, the magic produced was too much that the body constantly leaks out magical outburst of energy, disrupting the surrounding area.

As the young man is the only known case for it, there is no cure. Many curious Fairies, Witches and Wizards tried curing it once, one of them being Headmaster Saladin himself, but to no avail.

Alexi's magic is just too powerful. Any cure given was only swallowed by the ever growing magic deep inside of him.

Then Zenith came in with a solution. If they can't cure it, why not circumvent it. Zenith's brilliance always never fails to impress Saladin. They made a device, a device capable of siphoning the excess magic Alexi is producing and stopping all harmful effects to himself and his surroundings temporarily.

But all that excess magic still has to go somewhere and the device began to fail as years went by. Here is where Alexi's genius came in. After a few years of suffering in replacing the device's magical containers, he built something for it.

An armor.

Not just any armor, a Zenith-made power armor. Using his own excess magic to power it, he made a regular Zenith power armor into a magical armor capable of feats beyond magical scale.

The sheer power behind the armor alone is enough to take on Headmaster Saladin. He is deeply impressed by it.

But then came fear.

Since childhood, Alexi was bullied and ostracized by his peers. Saladin fears for the boy and for the entirety of the Magic dimension itself.

What if the boy sets his eyes on becoming a Dark Lord?

As such he offered the boy, now a young man, into his school. To his surprise, Alexi easily agreed.

Maybe his fears are just for nothing.

--------------------------

Inside the isolation room, Alexi continued to unpack his luggage starting on custom furniture. Due to his illness and the need for the armor, custom furniture was needed to accommodate him.

Mainly a bed capable of handling the armor's weight.

As he passed the mirror in the room, he paused at the reflection.

In his reflection, the visage of the RX-78-2 Gundam stared at him.

Yet in his mind, the curly brown haired adult stared at him.

He is Alexi Lenox in this life but in his previous life, he is Amuro Ray.

The White Devil.
