Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: First Meeting Harry

Jason returned to his office with a piece of parchment detailing Snape's requirements.

As for his needs, they were simply to have a temperature that could be adjusted and controlled; in short, very simple.

It was nothing more than needing a permanently burning flame, with baffles added to control the flame's temperature by increasing or decreasing them.

Just needing a piece of obsidian slab as a base, with small redstone pistons above it to create flame baffles to control the temperature...

Two hours later...

Very simple.

Jason gripped the lever, watching the flame rise and fall with its movement until a click.

...???

Isn't this a freakin' gas stove?

"...Damn it!"

Two days later.

This time, Jason concocted something more advanced: a circular plate that could be directly attached to the bottom of the cauldron, using magma blocks to control the temperature without a base, making it look very high-end.

Not long after sending it to Snape's office via owl post, a satisfaction rating of 20 appeared.

"Life is not easy."

After delivering the advanced induction cooker, he also had to update the iron golems for Hogwarts. Now, he increasingly suspected that Dumbledore had hired him to find a sucker.

Until evening...

Master Jason, who had been busy all day, encountered Mr. Hagrid, dressed and ready to depart.

"Hey! Where are you going?"

Hagrid turned around: "Going to pick up Harry Potter! Good heavens, I can't believe it. In the blink of an eye, he's eleven years old. Last time I saw him, he was only... this big."

Hagrid gestured a small distance with two fingers.

"Harry Potter? Can I come along? Of course, it's okay if I can't."

"Don't say that, of course you can. Hop on, we're going by motorcycle."

Jason got on the motorcycle: "Does Hogwarts have a pick-up service for young wizards? Or is it because of his fame?"

"Because Hogwarts sent Harry many acceptance letters that went unanswered, so Dumbledore asked me to check on him."

Hagrid said, walking into his hut and emerging shortly after with a cake box.

"Today is his birthday, and I thought it necessary to bring him this. I hope he has room to eat my cake."

Saying that, he got on the motorcycle, and with a roar, the entire motorcycle shot into the sky, heading towards a small island on the edge of the English coastline.

"Do they live so remotely?"

"Not really. We went to his home on Privet Drive before, but it was empty. This was tracked using tracking magic... maybe they're on vacation or something."

"OK."

About halfway there, it suddenly started raining. Fortunately, one of them was wearing a fur coat, and the other was wearing a tarpaulin cloak cosplaying as a wizard's robe, so they weren't afraid of the rain.

Even so, it was almost eleven o'clock when they landed on the small island.

"Now? Won't we be disturbing their sleep?"

Jason asked, looking at the dark tower in front of him.

"Relax, Jason, we'll be very gentle, very quiet, and only give the cake to Harry. We won't wake anyone else up."

Hagrid gently touched the not-so-sturdy wooden doorknob.

Bang!

The old wooden door flipped inward, slamming heavily on the ground.

"Ah... oh, I didn't expect it to be so flimsy."

Hagrid said, turning back somewhat awkwardly.

"Never mind. This is the cake you brought for Harry. It's more appropriate for you to hand it to him personally."

Jason handed the cake to Hagrid and walked inside.

Harry Potter, who was awakened by the loud noise, and the Dursley family of three also looked towards the doorway.

A handsome man with a frighteningly pale face, probably cold, and a tall, burly figure behind him?

"Who are you?"

"Jason Heath, and behind me is Rubeus Hagrid. We're from Hogwarts, here to take Harry Potter away... um, I'm very sorry to wake you up so late, really, it's just that this door was too flimsy."

"What's Hogwarts?" Mr. Dursley asked, although he already had a guess, while his hand moved imperceptibly towards the shotgun in the corner.

"This should be Hagrid's job to tell you."

As Jason spoke, a flame block ignited directly in his hand, emitting a warm light, making the poor man who had been flying in the rain for more than three hours feel better.

However, this immediately frightened the Dursley family into the corner, leaving only a thin child with glasses in place, wearing very little clothing, his face full of curiosity.

Seeing this, Jason directly lit the extinguished fireplace: "Warm yourself by the fire. You're wearing too little for this weather."

"I'm Harry Potter. Are you here for me?" Harry nodded and sat beside the fireplace, asking cautiously.

"I'm Jason Heath, yes."

"Then... why, and why can you conjure flames? Is this?"

"Magic. We are wizards, and so are you."

"Wizards!"

"Mhmm."

"Then do you know my parents?"

"I'm sorry, I can't answer that. See that big guy? He might know."

Compared to Jason's warm fireplace, Hagrid on the other side was passionately confronting the Dursley family, including but not limited to making the Dursley's son grow a pig's tail, and violently bending the shotgun barrel.

He even took the time to turn around and hand over the cake box he had been carrying.

"This is a cake made for you by Hagrid... honestly, we were worried you'd eat too much and have no room for this cake, but it looks like... you're not living too well."

Jason helped unpack the cake box and then discovered that Hagrid had forgotten to prepare candles.

"Never mind, they're all burning sticks, close enough."

Saying that, he snapped his fingers, and a tiny torch appeared in his hand, stuck on the cake.

"For me?" Harry looked at the cake with his... roughly speaking, name written on it, and said excitedly.

"Yes... Hagrid may not be very cultured, but that is indeed your name... he should have told me when he was making the cake, at least I could have helped him spell your name correctly."

Jason touched his chin speechlessly, complaining.

Harry couldn't hold back anymore, took a deep breath, and then Jason poked him in the face with his finger, and the air leaked out directly.

"Hagrid, it's time to blow out the candles."

Jason shouted towards Hagrid, who was still confronting.

"Oh, I'm coming, I'm coming!" Hagrid directly abandoned the trembling Dursley family, revealing a smile like looking at flowers.

"Blow it out."

Whoosh!

The torch was still burning with its bright flame, without even a flicker.

...In short... it was very uncooperative.
