The water lost its balance. Bright grabbed the ends of the tub and arose. His skin was wrinkly especially his palms. He got out the tub and grabbed a black woolen towel instead of the white one. He scrubbed it through his hair leaving it in a mess. He looked at the burns on his torso, accepting the fact he had to live with those scars for the rest of his life. He groaned at the though but what's done is done. After absorbing the water with the towel all over his body,he wrapped it along his waist. He walked out the bathroom trying to fix his hair. He remembered the room Philly told her to go to,at the far end to the left. Once inside,he found some folded clothes on top of a neatly made bed. The room was the perfect size for a boy like him. He took of his towel , folding it and putting it beside the clothes. Philly even placed a new pair of briefs with the clothes which was a life saver cause Bright had none apart from the one he had on earlier which was already worn out. He grabbed the new roll of bandages and wrapped his body with em before putting on the clothes. The thermal shirt was about oversized, definitely Philly's but it still looked good on him. Next up were the joggers which fit perfectly and to top it all off was the good ol slippers. He did a fit check looking at the mirror as he turned left and right. Bright wasnt much of a fashion guy but he tried to look decent time to time. He approved the fit. His stomach rumbled. Hunger slowly crept in on him. He walked back down stairs finding Philly setting up the table.
"Look at you,you look so much better than what I expected." She said placing two plates holding the hotdogs onto the table. There was also two glasses of juice mango flavor chilled to perfection beside the plates. Looking at it made Bright's appetite grow more. He sat down the puffy couch waiting for Philly to do the same.
" You wanna say grace? Philly asked sitting down as well.
"Sure." Bright said with a nervous chuckle. The two closed their eyes and bright recited a short prayer he had stuck to his mind.
"Amen. Well then, shall we digg in?" Philly said grabbing her hotdog.
"Indeed we should." Bright said impersonating a British accent. The two the did a toast for good luck and we'll being agreeing on hotdogs as the covenant.
Bright ate but with every bite his mother's image flashed in his mind. It was an instant gag but he finished the burger still. He and Philly watched some cartoons. Halfway through Bright fell asleep. Philly carried him to his room and tucked him in. He looked heavenly as he slept. All that she could do was gently kiss his forehead good night and leave him be.
She returned downstairs and cleared the table then freshened up. She emerged from the bathroom with a serious look in her face. It was time to plan ahead.
Philly knew that by now Josh had word of Bright's survival from the explosion. She knew how dead set he was on something he already planed out. This shitty nature of Josh was the one thing that even prevented her from living a normal life making her seeking refuge from a rouge corps for protection. Josh's existence was a burden to both her and Bright, bus she couldnt eradicate it yet, hot even with the help of the rouge corps. But she had a way on how to keep their distance from the enemy. She dressed wearing her nightgown and grabbed her glasses. She looked over to her study desk as she approached it. Her laptop layed on top waiting to be used and she did. Flipping it open she logged activating the system. She was looking to but a house far from their current location. She browsed through different sites for a couple of minutes analysing the location mostly.
"Found it,"she said under her breath closing up on the screen," Aidenstown, the perfect place to live in after retirement and good for raising kids not to mention the security is topnotch."
Philly read this among other reviews by the property buyers. The distance was pretty far from their current location and it looked quite old fashioned and not too modern development wise. She then looked through the list of available houses. A rambler which looked still good condition wise caught her eye. It was also located at the outskirts of the city hardly any neighbors near. It was abit pricey but Philly's account could handle it. She contacted the estate manager and sealed the deal. Two hours was the time it took to sort out the house matters, next up was the protection issue. This was going to be the most tiresome task. She closed the tabs and the web search program. She double clicked on another program which had a black icon above the name. The screen went blank. It turned back on minutes later glitching.
" Do you wish to enter?" a robotic AI voice said from the laptop
"I do if thou allows me to. Praise be to the paradise that harbours dark souls." Philly said as if she were in a trance.
"Praise be to the paradise." the voice replied as the glitch disappeared. The screen then joined pixels creating a logo appearing as a moth wings spread wide underneath it words slowly forming. KILLERS PARADISE.

The application, killers paradise, was just as the name suggested. It was a place where killers could come together and do what they desired. The application's look was like a fusion of Instagram and google. There was a hierarchy which was respected by all. Participants could do all sorts of nasty, illegal and damning things. You could hire a killer, watch a killer toucher a victim, get your hands on top tier weapons from high class weapon forgers, donate yourself for experiments to mad scientist, just basically anything unethically humane. As long as your titled killer and your resume proved it the app just appears in your device without you looking for it.
Philly's page was mid in terms of the true nature of the application. She entered her Direct messages and tapped on the group messages of the rouge killers. To her luck everyone was online.

Once Philly was done she returned back to the main page. Only one thing remained now, securing arms. Her current gear was abit rusty and worn out. She still had some workable tools but still needed some more for future use in the upcoming rouge killers tasks and assignments. Lucky for her she had already secured a trusted weapon smith, Doom maker.
She called him on audio. The guy picked up instantly on seeing who called.
"Well well well, if it ain't Demon floss. Where ya been this few months love?"
"Working, nothing much goes on in a killers life if not killing." Philly replied keeping her current situation a secret. Though she trusted Doom maker, trust goes to a certain extent in such people because no one could fully understand intentions of psychopaths.
"Cant argue bout that. Economy's been tough lately. So, what is it you require? Old or the new?"
" I need equipment that'll last for a while. Am willing to spend a fortune so give me the best you have in your stock." Philly said rubbing her forehead. Her migraines started to act up. She needed sleep soon.
The forger listed six items. But among them only three caught Philly's attention.
∆Reapers prism
A throwing knife that returns back to senders once it strike the target,it defies logic and sure to surprise the enemy.
∆Pulse gun
A dessert eagle design pistol that fires silent kinetic shots hardly visible to the eye, perfect for silent takedowns.
∆Amber rage
A Mini sized blade that could tap in to the users emotions making use of the rage one felt. Some how Philly felt this weapon fitted Bright well. Maybe she could gift it to him on his birthday once he masters how to handle a blade.
"This three are perfect. Now how much for them all?" Philly asked hoping to get a proper discount.
"Hehehehe... Five million dollars." Doom maker said not even hesitant.
Philly's face twitched. Five million?!! That's roughly four months spending!
The amount was sure to leave a hole in her account, but the goods were too good to leave behind. Her migraines throbbed as she finalized on her choice.
"Ok then. I'll tell you where we'll meet up and exchange the items and cash."
" Nice show indeed. Untill we speak again love"
The voice call ended. Philly was tired. She still had some packing to do and arrangements to sell this house weren't even done, but all that was in her mind now was sleep. She logged out Killers Paradise and shut down her computer. She looked at the time on her phone, two am.
"I give up."
She placed her phone on top of her laptop and got up stretching. She pulled the chair back and slowly walked to her bed. Her door suddenly opened. It was bright. He walked sluggish calling out Philly. Philly was stunned. Dempsey's words then entered her mind again seeing bright. His body was emitting energy in a Smokey form.
"Auntie, I... I keep seeing mommy. I cant sleep auntie. Am scared,"Bright said as he approached Philly sluggish dragging his body.
He streached out his scorching hot arms as he neared Philly.
The rooms temperature suddenly shot up drastic.
Philly had to do something, before things get out of hand.
