Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Darkness.

First a cold, suffocating void. Then a blurry light.Whispers. Mist. Ancient shapes, etched in stone long forgotten by time.

Kerow Lin opened his eyes—not in the present… but in a memory.

He was standing. In front of a wall.

But not an ordinary wall. No. He recognized every curve, every angle, every micro-crack. A fragment of a forgotten site—a ruin older than records, one no historian could ever date.

Earth.His former life.

He wore a dusty brown jacket, a notebook in hand, fingers blackened from rubbing over symbols. His heart beat fast.

Beside him stood another man. Younger. Dirty glasses on his nose, a nervous smile.

"Do you think we've finally found a piece of the Grand Myth?"

Lin had never answered that question. Not that time.

He stared at the stone, fascinated. As if he could hear something.

Not a word. Not a message.

A structure. A logic.

The wall was a mechanism. A puzzle far too vast to be man-made.

Back to the present.

Kerow opened his eyes on a bed of magical mist.

He couldn't feel his body anymore. But his mind burned with perfect clarity.

The world… is a puzzle. Every dungeon, every rule, every limit is just one piece.

The defeat against Calder wasn't a failure. It was a key.

A reminder of what he had forgotten: the world obeys laws—but laws can be rewritten.

He stood. Slowly.

His back cracked. The mana around him began to flow again. Faintly—but differently.

He reached out. And instead of invoking a preexisting structure, he traced… a new symbol.

A rune he had never studied. But that came from him.

His talent had changed.

[New Talent Mastery Unlocked – Stage 2: Absolute Creativity]

You have transcended imitation. You can now create original magical, mechanical, or conceptual structures. The world becomes your canvas.

He smiled.

Not out of pride. But hunger. A deep, ancient thirst.

Calder… I'll catch up to you.I'll take even more than that. I'll rewrite the rules of your sky.

But before that…

He had to return. And see if the Iron Arrows had survived the final room.
