[Floor ???+]
Stability: Variable. Causality: Optional.
New Floor Rule: Every choice creates a path. Only one leads out.
The air shimmered like glass melting under heat.
Lucien, Naia, and Calen stood in a swirling chamber of light—three doors before them.
Each marked by a symbol:
⚖️ A scale.
🔥 A flame.
👁️ An eye.
Behind them, the voice of Player 7 echoed like a ghost:
"No matter what you choose, the Tower will give you what you believe."
"But truth isn't what's real. It's what survives your lies."
Without warning, the floor beneath each of them split.
They were pulled apart.
Thrown into their own doors.
Each now alone.
Each trapped in a reality they helped create.
Lucien: Door of the Eye 👁️
He awoke in a palace.
Throne under him. Tower complete.
A chorus of masked followers knelt before him.
"You rewrote the Tower, Supreme One."
He blinked.
His system said:
[Ascendancy Complete – No Higher Floor Detected.]
"I won?" Lucien muttered. "No… This isn't right."
The followers offered offerings.
Chants of devotion.
Mirrors filled the halls—all reflecting a perfect Lucien.
Then, one mirror cracked.
And the boy from Chapter 16 appeared inside it, bloodied.
"This is your lie. You rule what you never earned."
Lucien closed his eyes.
"System: Confirm floor ID."
[Floor ???+] – Reality Constructed from User Ambition.]
"Fake," Lucien muttered.
He turned.
Walked off his throne.
The mirrors shattered.
[Floor Error: User Rejection Detected. Preparing Collapse.]
Naia: Door of the Flame 🔥
She awoke in a burning village.
Cassandra alive.
Calling for help.
Naia ran, heart pounding.
Blade drawn.
But every time she reached Cassandra, flames consumed the girl.
Then rewound. Over and over.
"This is what you believe you deserve," said a voice.
She saw herself in the flames.
Older.
Colder.
"You became strong to protect others. But what if strength was just your excuse to stop trying?"
Naia screamed.
Sliced at the illusion.
"I tried! I TRIED!"
The fire whispered back.
"Then stop reliving it."
The loop cracked.
Ash fell.
The village vanished.
[Floor Loop Broken: Emotional Override Confirmed.]
Calen: Door of the Scale ⚖️
He stood at an altar.
Before him: two weights.
On one side—his dead mentor.
On the other—Naia and Lucien.
"Choose who lives. The scale will balance the Tower."
Calen refused.
The floor shook.
"Choose."
He stepped forward.
Pushed both weights off the scale.
"No more false choices."
[Moral Paradox Detected – Reset Inhibited.]
A doorway opened behind him.
All three floors began collapsing.
Reality cracking like ice underfoot.
A fourth door appeared.
Silver.
Unmarked.
The trio stepped through at the same time.
And met again.
The Tower reassembled around them.
[Path Selection Complete. Divergent Realities Collapsed.]
[You Chose Your Lies. You Survived Them.]
A new chamber.
Carved into the walls: symbols of past floors.
And ahead, not a door… but a corridor of shifting glass—showing dozens of other Luciens, Naias, and Calens.
Each walking a different path.
"Multifloor convergence," Lucien whispered. "We're entering the Tower's core branch."
A screen blinked alive.
[PLAYER 7: OBSERVING.]
"Most who enter their own lies... stay there forever."
"But you? You three broke free. Now we play on my terms."
Behind them, the doors sealed.
Before them, the corridor pulsed.
"Next floor is real. Final part of this layer."
Lucien grinned.
"Then let's lie our way forward."
