Ray looked at the man and sighed heavily.
"Sir Richard, I have a request, I hope you don't mind fulfilling it."
The man took another sip from his glass of wine and opened one eye looking at Ray, he ran his hand through his hair, and finally said.
"And what do you need my help with, I'll do what I can."
"See this girl? Her name is Andy, she's my friend and she wants to become a knight, so could you make her a swordswoman?"
Richard moved his gaze from Ray to Andy, he saw the passion in her eyes, they reminded him of himself in the past.
"So what's your name?"
"It's Andy, sir."
She smiled and adjusted her hair as if imitating some of his movements.
"Okay, I'll take her on, it's been a long time since I've seen such passion in the eyes, especially in young people."
"Is this good or bad?"
She asked trying to understand what's on his mind.
"You'll see, but where are we going to teach you? Young master Ray, I can't teach her here."
"I know one place!"
Andy shouted running out of the bar, Akito, Ray and Richard followed her, they entered the forest, it smelled of pine trees, somewhere in the forest they stopped, it was a spacious clearing with trampled earth and even some obstacles for training, there were no animals nearby, Akito and Ray sat on stumps, Andy stood opposite Richard.
"I see you have a sword, show me what you can do."
Andy smiled proudly and waved her sword, maybe yesterday, she wasn't just waving her sword for fun.
"Well, not bad for a start, you have a Knight's sword, I see, not bad."
"Knight's? Like the kind knights use? Never heard about that."
Richard looked at her strangely.
"It's just the name of the sword, what do you know about swords?"
"Well... They come in big and small! And they swing them beautifully, I read about them in novels!"
Andy proudly replied, swinging her sword again as if demonstrating her skill.
"That's not true, swords are divided into one-handed, for example; rapiers, swords, sabers and the like, half-handed, and two-handed, such as a claymore. Got it?"
"Yes! But let's start practicing!?"
Richard sighed heavily and took off his gloves, his hands were covered in scars and cuts, his palms were large and rough.
"Take them, because if you'll cut yourself accidentally, I don't want to deal with your problems later."
Andy stretched out her hands and grabbed the gloves, pulling them on her hands, they were a bit big, but she didn't care.
"Take a stance, and prepare for a duel."
Richard's eyes flashed dangerously as he looked at Andy, but she was not afraid and stood in a stance, simply holding her sword in both hands. Akito and Ray watched these events warily, as if they did not want to miss anything.
"I am ready."
Andy spoke tightly gripping her sword in her hands, her gaze showing a certain concentration that contrasted with her usual gaze.
"Attack then."
Andy rushed towards the man, trying to hit him with all her might.
'As I thought, she does not understand anything about this, maybe I was wrong and there is nothing special about her.'
Richard thought and easily blocked her attack with his sword.
'What?' - It was with this thought that Richard stepped back from Andy's front kick, and she again assumed a fighting stance.
'I thought she would just continue to mindlessly attack me, and not try to kick me, maybe that would even be interesting.'
Richard responded by standing in the "Right Angle Guard", his gaze fixed on Andy, on the way she stood. One thing was clear, he was already ready for the next attack.
"I will show you 'The True Skill'... Attack, Andy..."
