Chapter 3 - A successful clash

The stormy territory of Hydragon was forced to split in two as a bright star appeared in the middle of the dome.

Sunny->70.

Using that took away 10 points of Sunny's Spirit bar.

Sunny->80

But that was negligible as she would recover 10 points either way. The morning star was a territory that added an extra damage point to Kwelia's attacks.

In Avatar Coin, attacks at the base form would deal 5-20 damage, and on spirit evolution, it can deal with 20-40 damage according to the ways the attacks are enacted.

Hydragon roared in anger at the blatant invasion that had parted his territory, strangely as he roared one of the lighting bolts descended on Kewlia damaging her.

Sunny->75

Sunny pointed at Hydragon. "Kewlia, fly towards him and use your wings to attack. I'll support you and make sure our attack lands."

Kewlia screeched as she flapped her wings and rushed towards Hydrabon. At the moment, Duube quickly reacted as he used a coin.."Hydragon use Hailstorm?!."

The coin shattered, and Hydragon roared as four large shards of ice floated around him, and then they all fell towards Kewlia.

Sunny finally pulled her cpin into her glove. "Kewlia, Use Hyper Speed Cut?!!."

Kewlia chirped and then her large Avian form began to move faster until her body became light and what was in her place was a speeding Phoenix made from light cutting apart the large Hail crystals, shattering them and then appearing behind hydragon.

Dune->65.

Hydragon reread in pain as a thin crack was formed along his scales. Hydragon was getting agitated, and the storm territory above him was beginning to turn into a purple shade. It would seem that soon, he would unleash the full scale of Hydragon's savagery he had been building up.

On the land, however, Blaziel and Gasitix were going at it with one another, exchanging blows. Kira looked at their declining spirit meter with every clash.

Kira->70

Talon->75.

Yes, Gasitix and Blaziel had exhange ten blows, and now they were getting ready for another. Suddenly, both Kira and Talon brought out a coin and slotted it in their gloves.

"Equip Coin:Chains of Hades?!!."

"Equip Coin:Hyperion Blade?!!."

The scimitars in Blaziels arms shattered, and soon dual scythe chains with a dark flame were burning. I'm his hands.

Gasatix threw both his laser pistols in the sky, and they began morphing until they fused and became a large greatsword that had turbo boosters near the edge. He slashed at an incoming bolt of lighting, immediately dispersing it, Gasatix roared for the first time in the battle.

He took a step forward, left leg in the back, bended as he used the earth to dash himself towards azue with Hyperion raised above his head.

Blaziel replied with an equal roar and then thre his chains on Hyperion, and like a snake,

they wrapped around it easily. Gasatix seeing the situation activated the boosters on the hilt and immediately pulled Blaziel up using his chains and tried to drop him back to the ground if Blaziel didn't let go of Hyperion and used one of his chains to pull over a tree that was now flying towards Gasatix.

*BAM*

The tree hit Gasatix, but it did not do any damage to him, and only just made him angry. Gasatix proper his hand backwards and held Hyperion in a throwing position.

The boosters near the hilt gave out a green bang before he threw it towards Blaziel. Within seconds, it clashed with the Fiery Goliath, dealing cracks in its armour.

Hyperion then returned back to Gasatix as swiftly as it got launched

Kira->65.

Kira was outraged. "How's a flying sword fair?!!."

Talon rolled his eyes. "Says the one who has seemingly long chains that have a mind of their own."

As Kira was about to complain, Hydragon came crashing down with Kewlia struggling to escape the grasps of his jaw. The two spirit Avatars roared as they began thrashing around on the ground.

Talon didn't let go of the opportunity and summoned a coin. "Gasatix, let's show the world the full might of advancement. Spirit evolution:Ultimate Lifeform Gasatix."

Green light began surrounding Gasatix, and soon it engulfed him, a Pillar of emerald light pierces through the Spirit Dome and descends upon Gasatix, repelling Blaziel completely. Once it ceased Gasatix's form, it was revealed an

Now wielding a sleek blade that resembled a katan version of Hyperion, he was covered in white and green metal plating, and his form seemed bigger by a few feet's. Gasatix glanced up at Hydragon and slashed its blade at him, sending out an arc of green light.

Hydragon, who was clashing with Kewlia, suddenly gave a pained roar as it.

Dune->50

"Hey, why did you attack me?!!." Dune asked out in outrage.

Talon just shrugged and replied. "Well, why wouldn't I? Your spirit meter is lower than ours."

There was silence between the two for a moment before Dune clenched his hands and a dark blue energy surrounded it. He opened his arm, and a coin appeared, which he immediately slotted into his spirit glove. "Spirit Evolution: Maximum Leviathan Hydragon. Maximum Hydragin, sacrifice 99% of your spirit meter and go berserk."

The moment the coin clicked into the Spirit Glove, the temperature dropped. The vibrant light of Sunny's Morning Star dimmed, flickering erratically as a violent tremor rocked the Spirit Zone. The clouds of Hydragon's storm territory turned a deep indigo, then black—streaked with crimson lightning.

Dune → 1 Spirit

The coin shattered into liquid blue light, which surged into Hydragon like a crashing wave. The great serpent convulsed mid-air, then screamed, a guttural, ancient sound that shook the entire dome.

Maximum Hydragon's transformation warped once more.

His body expanded to monstrous proportions, coils thick as towers.

His eyes turned into glowing whirlpools of lightning and storm.

Horns of jagged frost curved backwards from his head.

From his back rose, six curved fins crackling with energy, forming a rotating cyclone ring.

His entire form was cloaked in a stormfield so dense it warped visibility.

Rain within the Spirit Zone turned black with static—corrosive to any who were not him.

Kira just blankly stared up. "Huh....and I thought I was wild, well, may God help us all at this point."

Talon turned to her. "You're giving up."

Sunny also spoke. "Hm...I don't think we can win unless we somehow get a hit on him..."

Kira shrugged and sighed. The clash had been fun, but it seemed like it needed to end. "Final Drive:Flameheart Singularity: Heavenfall Nova." She was not going to fight an evolved berserk Hydragon."

Blaziel roared as it jumped behind it, Kewlia's territory sun shattered as it began condensing into a large blue burning sun above him.

Kira->0

Using her Final Drive Coin while Blazie isn't evolved consumes all the Spirit bars she currently possesses.

From above, the sun fell—no, plummeted—toward the battlefield, a star condensed for destruction.

But Dune was already prepared.

Atop the cyclone-ringed monstrosity that was Maximum Leviathan Hydragon, Dune's Glove flared as he extended his arm, eyes narrowed with deadly calm.

"Typhoon Halo—Form it!"

The massive dragon spun its six storm-charged fins outward, forming a rotating halo of lightning and water overhead. The skies shrieked. Crimson lightning surged into the Halo, igniting it with explosive brilliance.

"Now—Reverse Torrent Spin!!"

Hydragon's colossal body began to coil in reverse. The entire Spirit Zone twisted with him—winds reversing, rain spiralling sideways, a reality-bending vortex taking shape around the berserking titan.

Then, with devastating force, Hydragon unleashed the vortex upwards, directly into the incoming Heavenfall Nova.

*BOOOOOM*.

A deafening explosion rang out as the two attacks met with one another, blinding everyone and obliterating everything on the ground below.

Dune->1.

When the light ceased, Hydragon was flying above, unaffected by the entire clash, while Blaziel was falling as it turned to dust.

Kewlia and Gasatix were also damaged quite badly.

Talon->10.

Sunny->10.

Talon frowned. He really did not know Hydragon could go berserk...he had never seen Dune use such an ability before. "So you're hiding your abilities. You should at least be at the 15th rank of the Divine 100, but it doesn't matter if this attack will finish yo-."

"Let's end this, Final Drive: Maximum Abyss Spiral Vortex." Dune only had one spirit bar, so he was not going to waste time conversing with his opponents and give them the upper hand to attack.

The finality in Dune's voice echoed like a judgment bell across the fractured Spirit Zone.

Dune → 0

The coin pulsed once in his hand, then disintegrated into a whirlwind of black-blue light, merging with the berserk core of Maximum Leviathan Hydragon

A silence dropped like a guillotine.

Then, the cyclone-ring surrounding the colossal beast exploded outward, forming a colossal abyssal vortex that touched both the heavens and the shattered earth of the battle The black rain turned into spiralling spears, lightning cracked in crimson arcs, and the entire Spirit Zone trembled as if pleading for mercy.

Hydragon roared, and as he dove, the vortex followed.

Talon shouted, "Gasatix, Evade—NOW!"

Gasatix tried to leap back, boosters flaring. Kewlia flared its wings, Sunny already inserting a Defence Coin—but it was far too late.

The vortex engulfed everything.

Blinding darkness. Spiralling chaos. The sensation of being pulled into the deep sea while lightning dissected you molecule by molecule.

A second sun bloomed—black and blue—and then…

Silence.

A pulse of energy rippled outward, tearing through the Spirit Zone walls. For a moment, reality flickered.

Then…

The Spirit Zone shattered.

All four avatars vanished.

All four Coin Bearers fell to their knees on the now-restored, real-world school grounds.

The sky above was normal. The sun is normal. Trees, normal. Students who were passing by and decided to watch were cheering from a safe distance—but life was back to real-time. Though the cracks of energy left by the battle still lingered faintly in the grass.

---

Kira lay flat on her back, eyes wide.

"...I think I saw my grandma in that vortex," she muttered.

Sunny was coughing lightly, cradling her Spirit Glove. Kewlia was perched on her shoulder in bird form, wings drooped. "That was… the closest I've come to actual unconsciousness during a clash."

Talon was on one knee, hand gripping his arm. He stared at Dune with a blend of respect and simmering annoyance. "You maniac... You planned the entire clash to end with you dropping that?"

Dune, pale and sweat-soaked, forced himself to sit up. His hair was plastered to his face, and his Spirit Glove had a faint scorch mark. "Didn't plan. I just… stopped holding back."

Kira groaned and lifted a hand. "If this is how we fight before even leaving the academy… remind me never to let you two team up."

Dune snorted and gave a tired half-smile. "Don't worry. We're all too insane to ally for more than five minutes."

Talon stood, brushing himself off. "...I'm in."

Sunny nodded softly. "Me too."

Kira raised her hand again. "Same. Just give me five minutes to find my soul. I think it rolled over there somewhere."

Unknown to them, their Spirit Gloves sent out a command to somewhere unknown.
