Chapter 2 - 2.

In order to conquer the seven kingdoms, I knew I had to conquer myself first.

The sinew of our dragons were indeed a huge bonus that could never be rivalled, but that didn't mean I had to neglect other things. After all, dragons are not immortal, they are not completely invincible just because they rule the skies.

And to conquer a realm that I knew not completely of, I understood the dragons shouldn't be taken to the tip of the precedence triangle.

Hence, I asked the system to show me my status. This world was just like others; a fantasy world with powered ratings and all of that, but most things were restricted to me alone.

The following day, I sent for Daemon Velaryon and Orys to meet me at once here in Dragonstone in order to practice some swordsmanship. From my understanding, this will boost my Strength and Agility and also improve my Basic Swordsmanship if I ever found myself posed with a duel.

By midday, the two arrived in the yard beneath the western tower. But they were not alone; Daemon Velaryron, Lord of Driftmark, brought along his son and heir, Vaemond and daughter, Laena.

I recognized their sparkling hair fluffing softly to the wind at the beach of the castle. Hurriedly, I descended to welcome them formally—Daemon and Orys specifically, while the Velaryon heirs, I took like my own younger siblings, and hugged tight.

"Father says I am old enough to join you in sparring. Look, I brought my own steel."

Vaemond, with a bright smile, unsheathed his sword to reveal its fine craft to me. I nodded in acknowledgement, and agreed to let him join me train in the yard.

Afterwards, I turned to Laena and offered a nice, charming smile. Laena blushed in response, her cheek turning red as she foozled her head to avoid my inviting gaze.

I picked up her cold pale hand and firmly squeezed it in mine before lifting it gracefully and planting a very tepid peck to the back of the hand.

"My lord—"

"Have you been betrothed yet? No? Surely you can't and I wouldn't know."

Laena was like a living photocopy of her mother. She had the palest of skin tone, a faded visage and also dulled violet eyes in contrast to mine that were resplendent. Unlike the majority of us who shared the same blood, she was a bit chunky at the right areas—a trait well so inherited from her mother too.

This was why she'd always cross my eye, and why I wanted to know if there's another lucky young man.

"No, not yet. But father speaks of Qoryn, Lord Celtigar's second son."

Laena looked up at me to see a small, indiscernible frown on my face upon the utterance of her words.

"Qoryn? A child? Barely ten?"

Laena had no words to reply. She understood the function of things here, and even varying ages never mattered when it came to strengthening family bonds.

But of course, hormones still speak for themselves.

I grinded my jaw a bit as I looked deeply into Laena's eyes. Without she even realizing, my other hand had snaked to her back, caressing the smooth woven fabric of her corset before grabbing her waist.

"I can have a third wife if I must."

Laena's slim hands met my chest and she looked up with feminine fear and concern.

"But, my Lord—"

Laena's words emerged as a whisper in her mouth as I pulled her tighter to merge our body heat together. Her soft juicy body was like a pillow and I immediately felt like sinking my teeth into her clear neck.

Laena and I had committed a vile act that even Lord Daemon would condemn us for. Or should I just say me, because it was all my fault—I had practically persuaded my lust onto the young lady, and she easily succumbed and spread her fair legs. This was wrong because she was supposed to remain a virgin for her future husband.

Fortunately, no one had suspected this, so I took it as a mistake. However, now, being the reincarnator, I couldn't help but feel like taking advantage once again of dear Laena, who was in love with me.
