Wallace West, the new Kid Flash, had been training nonstop since Wally's fall.
— You're not ready — Barry warned.
— If I'm not, then who is? Everyone else has already fallen!
Barry took a deep breath.
— Then don't go alone.
---
But Wallace went anyway.
He found Lucas near the ruins of Keystone.
— So you're the new heir? — Lucas asked. — I expected more.
— Maybe you should stop expecting and start fighting.
The fight began.
Wallace was aggressive, young, reckless — and creative. He generated vortexes, sonic bursts, used compressed air against Lucas's field.
— Impressive — Lucas said.
But the power gap was massive.
Lucas grabbed him by the neck.
— You have your uncle's courage. But also his weakness.
Wallace stared into his eyes.
— Still… I'm not you.
Lucas hesitated for a millisecond. Then threw him to the ground, knocking him out. But he didn't kill him.
— May you carry that shame with pride.

Barry Touches the Black Force
In the depths of time, Barry ran.
He searched for something he never thought he'd use: the Black Force.
Thawne had once said: "It's hunger. But it's also a resource."
With weary eyes, Barry entered the black core of the timeline.
The energy was oppressive. Cold.
— Barry Allen… — whispered a voice. — You came for power?
— I came to stop extinction.
The energy shifted into the shape of Nora.
— Or did you come to become what you've always feared?
Barry touched the Black Force. Shadows consumed his body.
He screamed. And then… he rose.
Black eyes. Darkened suit.
— Lucas wants a god?
Then he'll get a demon.
---
Lucas invaded STAR Labs personally.
Cisco tried to open a portal to evacuate the wounded.
— You're the only one who doesn't run — Lucas said, appearing beside him.
Cisco turned, activating his vibrations.
— But I'm the only one who can stop you without running.
— I like your arrogance.
— And I hate yours.
Cisco triggered a trap: reverse vibration, built from the frequency fragments of Lucas's clones.
For an instant, Lucas screamed.
— You don't understand the pain you just brought upon yourself.
— I understand enough to make you scream.
Lucas hurled him into a wall.
— You don't run. So you're useless. But you'll live.
He opened a portal and exiled Cisco to an isolated dimension — a realm of pure darkness.
— When it's all over… maybe I'll come get you.
And vanished.
