The arena roared.
But the sound couldn't drown out the pulse between the two standing figures—Jiwoon and Aven. The air shimmered, not from heat, but from pressure.
Two opposing forces. Two oaths.
One born from divine law…
The other from sin unredeemed.
Aven's golden wings flared to full span. He raised both hands, and the laws of the world responded.
"Oathbrand: Celestial Executioner – Final Judgment Protocol."
Runes formed beneath his feet, expanding in radiant circles, projecting holy codes midair—calculating sin, measuring weight, preparing execution.
"You will be erased, Jiwoon. Not punished. Not judged. Erased."
Jiwoon's smile was gone.
He raised his right hand, now fully covered by the Sinbound Gauntlet.
"Then you'll understand something divine beings never do—"
"Some sins aren't meant to be erased. They're meant to be carried."
[Sin System: Sinbound Core – Fragment Activation: Overload]
Trait Unleashed: Weight of Eternal Memory
- Defense ignored
- Divine resistance reduced
- All sins reflected as damage
Jiwoon moved.
Not with speed.
With inevitability.
He vanished from sight—then appeared above Aven in a burst of black flash. His gauntlet came down with one simple punch. No technique. No flourish.
Just consequence.
BOOOOOOOM!!
The arena floor cracked. Divine light and black sigils exploded in opposite directions.
Aven blocked just in time—but the force sent him crashing down into the ground, his barrier shattering.
"You… struck through law…"
Jiwoon landed, looking down. "Because law has no meaning if it's blind."
Meanwhile – unknown chamber
The Watchers stirred again.
"He invoked the first Sinbound trait. The gauntlet is no longer dormant."
"Shall we interfere?"
"No," the 3rd said coldly. "Let them burn."
Back in the arena, Aven rose again—blood at the edge of his mouth. He stared across the broken arena, wind howling.
"This isn't over…"
Jiwoon narrowed his eyes.
"I hope not."
The storm hadn't ended.
It had only just declared war.
