The boat bumped gently against the shore.
A soft wind rolled through the palm trees.
Jiwoon stepped onto the sand first, silent as always.
Behind him, Vera and Kaelya followed—both barefoot now, as if this island didn't allow armor or tension.
"It's… quiet," Kaelya murmured.
"Too quiet," Vera replied.
But Jiwoon said nothing. He simply closed his eyes and listened.
No divine hum. No Sin System whisper.
Just the waves.
Later that evening
They had built a fire. Small. Warm. Enough for three.
Vera sat on a flat rock, brushing her hair back from her neck.
Kaelya leaned against a log, sipping from a coconut.
Jiwoon sat between them. Not too close. Not too far.
Kaelya glanced sideways. "So. What now?"
Jiwoon replied, "We rest."
"Together?" Vera asked—quiet, but deliberate.
Jiwoon finally looked at her. And then at Kaelya.
"If you want to."
Silence.
Then Vera stood. Walked toward him.
She stopped just in front of Jiwoon and—without a word—placed her hands on his shoulders.
Kaelya raised an eyebrow. "Wow. Bold."
Vera didn't flinch.
"You're not going to stop me, are you?"
Jiwoon didn't move.
"No."
Kaelya scoffed. "Then don't mind if I—"
She got up, took Jiwoon's other side, and leaned in close.
Her fingers brushed his jaw.
"Let's see what kind of man you are… when there's no war to hide behind."
Their faces were inches from his.
The fire crackled once.
Jiwoon's breath caught.
Vera whispered—
"Just for tonight. No systems. No marks. No memories."
She leaned in—
Kaelya leaned in—
Their lips were almost—
BLACK.
The screen cut to black.
A system message flickered quietly in the void:
"Memory not found."
