All of them get out the car and go inside. Carrie says she gonna order some food and they can talk at the dinner table. Everyone agrees and Clark asks Sarah to come to his room to talk. Sarah then looks at him and says "Clark whats going on your acting a bit strange since that moment in the car." Clark says " I have a really good reason for acting strange. I think no.. I hope your gonna like and agree." Sarah says "ok well what is it?" Clark "I wanted to explain my my ability to you." He sits there and tells her everything the AI explained to him except the part about the dao companion. She says "wow that sounds so fun you get to go to a whole new world. You get to learn and see new things. You also have the chance to gain immortality. I wish I could go with you." she says with a depressed look on her face.
Clark then says "Actually there is a way." Sarah's eyes lit up with some hope. Clark "But… There's a catch you have to become my dao companion. The AI explained it to me. what happens is it links our souls together and we become soulmates. I think its the equivalent in our world to marriage but its a lot more permanent. So what I wanted to ask is… Do you wanna wonder the cultivation world with me and be my soulmate?" Sarah sat there a bit stunned at the proposal. Then she said with a soft smile " Yes, I would love to wonder the cultivation world with you forever and be your soulmate. I was hoping you would propose to me after we graduated but this is even better." Clark with a stunned face walked over to his dresser and pulled out a ring box. He said "I was gonna propose after graduation so I guess this means you'll say yes to being my wife in this word as well as my soulmate?" Sarah nods and hold out her hand for Clark and he puts the ring on her finger.
Then Clark says "Well there's only 1 think left to do." he walk up to Sarah hugs her and goes in for a kiss. As soon as their lips touch he activates his skill dao companion. The AI voice then says " Dao companion has been activated. Linking your soul with Sarah's. Then Sarah says "Ah I feel a bit dizzy. What did you do?" Clark said "I activated the skill to link our souls. It didn't tell me this was gonna happen." Then Sarah started grabbing her head and screamed. Clark stood there not knowing what to do just watching. Then all of a sudden Sarah stopped and said "Its gone I guess it was part of the process." Clark said "do you feel any different?" Sarah said "Yes I do but I'm not really sure whats different I just know that it is"
Then all of a sudden Clark's parents come into the room and they say in unison "What happened we heard a scream." Then Clark then explain the whole situation. He told them about his skill and the marriage. Then he gave them a brief explanation about his ability and said he would go into further detail at dinner. The parents nod and leave. While their going back to the kitchen Clark's parents were talking. Carrie " I cant believe he actually proposed. He even went 1 step further and made her his soulmate." Samuel "Yeah I'm so proud not only did he awaken a mythical ability but he's thinking about settling down actually making a plan for his life." Carrie "Oh I cant wait to help plan the wedding. We have to give them a really good one." Samuel just looks at her with a smile and nods his head in agreement. Then they walk back to the dinner table and wait for the food.
