Next day when Elarion woke up everyone was busy with their own work which was assigned to them by Amara.
Elarion then got out of the orphange and after having headed towards the forest to cut some firewood for the orphanage. When he reached the forest he quickly started cutting dry tree branches, Elarion was very active physically more physical then most people of his age. After restlessly working for 2 hours he was satisfied with the amount of firewood he gathered and decided to head back.
When he was on his way back to the orphanage, a voice reached his ear which sounded like a pained cry of an animal. Elarion became terrified that maybe some wild animal is nearing towards him but he gathered all his courage to look at the place where the sound was coming from, he started to move towards the source of the sound which wasn't wasily identifiable as the voice was echoing in the forest. He frantically started searching for the source of the sound here and there for more than an hour with the load of firewood on his back he became tired and decided to rest for a while and then head towards the orphange. He sat on a nearby stone and sighed of relief but again the cry of animal startled him again,
The voice came louder than the last time and it sounded to be just beneath him, he stood up from the rock and moved around the rock and saw a white coloured fox cub stuck under the rock he sat on. He tried to pull her out but the rock was covering almost half of her body, so he started looking around for someting that could help him lift the rock as it was impossible for him to remove the stone alone. In his search he found a piece of bamboo which could help him in removing the stone from the top of the fox cub. He then picked the bamboo and with the help of another rock made a structure that looked like a seesaw, when he pushed the other end of bamboo the rock lifted somewhat enough for the fox cub to get out. He heaved a sigh of relief upon seeing that the fox cub has successfully made out from the bottom of the rock. He reached towards the fox cub and lifted it and sat under a tree while caressing its head. He checked for injuries on the fox cub but the cub had no injuries except the damage on it hind legs which were directly under the rock, so he decided to take it to the orphanage. He put it on the ground and tore a sleeve of his shirt and tied it around the hind legs of the fox cub to prevent them from further damage. When he was again lifting it to take it to his home the cub was staring at him with wide watery eyes as if expressing its gratitude for helping him.
The fox cub was of the small in size with snow white fur and golden eyes, it almost looked like a soft plushie toy.
Elarion picked all of his firewoods he has gathered and picked the cub in his arms and started heading towards the orphanage.
