Another usual day went by, Angels swooned over the Prince of Heaven and Aurelion signs a few autographs and flew off to watch creation from up above 'Ah the Earth, its possibly father's finest creation, though I know Lucifer would definitely disagree, such a shame some of us arnet allowed down there yet' He thinks as he flys back down to the Golden Gates where when walking foward hes met with a very familiar presence.
"Oh hey there Aurel" Lucifer calls out to his brother using his common nickname, despite it not being very good "Hey brother walk with me here" Lucifer says as Aurelion walks up beside Lucifer through an alleyway "Hey I was thinking since were obviously our father's favorite children I think we should go see if Father will let us see Earth" Lucifer says charismatically though Aurelion easily saw through his tricks.
"Luci its no use, only Archangels and Saints father specifically states are allowed to go down to Earth, we should not push our father to grant our requests by taking advantage of how he sees us" Aurelion responds "But its not uh— 'taking advantage' per say, its more like… Uhh…" Lucifer says but is cut off "Forget it Luci its not happening, if your smart enough then you wont either" Aurelion blandly states.
"Aurel listen to me, isnt this unfair, he lets Michael go down, he trusts Michael more than–" Lucifer is once more cut off by Aurelion "Exactly, hes doing this because he trusts us not because he doesn't, your being naive brother, also with all due respect brother but if he were to let you down onto Earth can you honestly say you would really put in the amount of effort Michael is doing right now?" Aurelion asks.
Lucifer's smug grin turns into a slightly bitter expression and his tone darkens with a bit of bite "And I suppose you would do so much better" He sarcastically and rashly responds "I didnt say that" Aurelion clarifies "Regardless there is no point either way so just forget it, its for your own good" Aurelion says as he opens a golden portal and steps through it leaving Lucifer partially dumbfounded.
Later on when night hits the heavenly realm Aurelion senses an extremely dark presence following both him and Lucifer despite the latter not being near him; Aurelion sprouts out his wings and flies in the direction where it is culminating, Heavens Inner Sanctum where he finds both his deluded brother and a primordial presence emanating immense power "Satan" Aurelion mumbles before flying over to the entrance to the sanctum.
"Brother you sense it too right" Lucifer asks beside Aurelion "Its like… Its calling us" Lucifer adds "Why do you think?" Aurelion asks "Well who wouldnt want the most handsome and powerful Angels in all of Creation" Lucifer states with much pride, Aurelion rolls his eyes.
As soon as the two Archangels approach the inside of the sanctum the doors to the outside close and finally a dark shadow like form emerges "Lucifer and Aurelion Morningstar, Prince's of Heaven, I have a proposal for you" The being states.
"Hah finally! Cant you see Aurel if I take down this black beast father will definitely let me go down to Earth!" Lucifer says excitedly as he summons an angelic dagger but Aurelion stops him "Wait, we dont know how powerful this being is, its presence is similar to our father while not exactly as strong you can sense that it may be more powerful than us" Aurelion explain.
Lucifer backs down "I guess your right Aurel; Fine whats your proposal beast!" Lucifer practically commands "I will overlook your rashness this once Prideful Prince, I propose to you a path to Ultimate Power, I offer you the chance to rule all of creation"
Lucifer is dumbfounded by this statement but then he just cracks up "You really think im gonna go against my father because some weird eldritch shadow thing tells me to, you think I want to get smited? Or worse erased?" Ludicer asks.
"No my Prince's I have watched you both since the day you were born and I saw your potential from the moment you took your forms, your Raw Power rivals that of The Light Beyond the Stars and you both could achieve so much more than you have ever dreamed, but your right as you are now you stand no chance against your father; Even as you both are the strongest beings in Heaven aside from your father and the Tree of Life not even you two could take on the entire Heavenly Army let alone all of the Virtues at once, no, you need something more" It explains.
"Oh, and what would that be?" Aurelion asks "Magic, Forbidden Magic, I will teach you how to control and utilize the dark power your father has kept hidden from all of creation and I will teach you how to use it to beat Heaven" It says "Were not stupid himbo, nothing like this comes without a price, what do you want?" Lucifer asks the eldritch being "If I grant you two the dark powers found within the forbidden knowledge and you take your place of the rulers of all of creation, I want your eternal service" It answers.
"Im still not convinced" Lucifer says blandly "Lucifer I know how you feel, you feel untrusted, disregarded by your creator, as someone also created by God directly I can level with you, though I am not exactly your brother due to being made of a different race and conditions, you know that you deserve so much more than you have been given, the knowledge and my teachings will grant you and your brother what you desire, do you accept?"
"I do" Lucifer responds with a satisfied expression "And you?" It asks; Aurelion considered everything but knew if the story was to continue the way it was this was the best option, and he knew Lucifer could use a friend other than Paimon and Alastor; Despite not remembering the main plot of the story the ROB let the important info remain after this such as the Hazbin Hotel redemption and a little bit more, other than that Aurelion felt he had nothing better to do.
"I Accept" Aurelion responds "THEN IT IS A DEAL" as the eldritch being said that the entire lighting of the inner sanctum went out and was replaced with a crimson and inverted bright green colours as the being takes a new form appearing as pure darkness surrounded by crimson red eyes.
Lucifer and Aurelion both bow in front of their new 'lord' "Master if I may ask, what is your name" Aurelion asks "Satan" it responds with a darker presumed male voice "Well then Lord Satan when do we begin?" Lucifer asks "Meet me here when next dawn strikes that is the time where you will learn" Satan explains, as Satan disperses Aurelion and Lucifer leave the sanctum.
Over the next couple of months Aurelion and Lucifer were taught the power of the Forbidden Knowledge, Dark Magic, they mastered the skill almost effortlessly and adapted to it with relative ease, in just a short period of time twins mastered all forms of the Forbidden Magic and could use any type of Dark Power or Dark Magic they desires such as Demonic Power, Eldritch Power, and much much more; With the powers of Light and Dark at the twins hands, they were ready.
After the teaching was complete under the command of Satan Lucifer and Aurelion recruited 1/3rd of Heaven using their immense charisma, those who did not want to follow the rebellion alongside the two Archangels Satan would corrupt and alter their minds with Dark Magic to get them to follow them.
Along with the 1/3rd of Heaven Satan would also summon his own creations, the Dark Army and with that the war was waged and a portion Heaven was at war, eventually an Archangel arrives, though its was one on the side of the Devil and its two servants "Masters, the Six Archangels have been dealt with as you commanded" the unnamed male says to the three in front of him.
"Well done, despite being the Captain of the Heavenly Army I did not expect that you would be able to take out 6 Princes of Heaven, good job Koatal" Lucifer says "I am impressed with your performance, Captain" Satan adds "Well done" Aurelion culminates however he says it more nonchalantly.
"It was my pleasure, masters; Shall I give the attack order?" Koatal asks "Do it" Satan says commandingly, Koatal nods "Attack! For the true rulers of Creation!" Koatal shouts and as he does the portion of the Angelic Army and other Angels rebel; Lucifer takes on the form of a massive dragon terrorizing the landscape but of course the attack did not go unpunished, the Archangels arrived.
"Aurel is that you?" Sandalphon says as she flies towards Aurelion "What is this Aurel? Are you actually rebelling against Father?" Sandalphon asks "Yes, but I have good reason" Aurelion clarifies "What could possibly be 'good reason' for this brother?" Sandalphon asks.
"A better order, a free order; Our father has neglected creation for too long and it is time for us to take action, sister you should join us it will be better" Aurelion says to her, but in that moment all those close moments Sandalphon had with Aurelion shattered as well as their sibling bond and Sandalphon was brought to tears.
"Sandy?" Aurelion calls out to Sandalphon by her nickname, Sandalphon dosent respond but instead creates a medium sized blade out of Holy Light"You are no longer my brother, no longer an Angel, and no longer deserving of your powers, I hope you are to be punished and I hope you are to be erased" Sandalphon says with a tone of bitterness and sorrow, while Aurelion knew that she didnt fully mean it it still hurt nonetheless.
"Im sorry sister" Aurelion says as Sandalphon charges at him Aurelion summons his own Angelic Blade out of Holy Light and manages to dodge her assault effortlessly and in turn disarm her and slash her across the chest diagonally "You held back, and you made sure that those wounds would not kill her" Satan says as he forms out of darkness behind Aurelion "It dosent matter shes incapacitated" Aurelion says "No, she will just heal, finish her!" Satan commands.
"By the time she wakes up this will all be over, it dosent really matter either way as I am far FAR more powerful than her, lets just finish the war" Aurelion responds "You are held back by your emotional bonds, and you are naive; Regardless I will grant you this one act of disregarding this matter, finish this Aurelion" Satan orders.
"As you wish my Lord" Aurelion says as he teleports away in a golden aura before reappearing in the middle of the battlefield; Aurelion would then gather immense divine light in his hands and culminate the energy before releasing it on the surrounding areas and the armies of Heaven aside from his own allies.
As it seems like the side of the rebellion was winning, it seems that fate had different plans Michael arrived empowered by God and effortlessly wiped out the army "Shit Michaels here!" Lucifer says concerned "And hes temporarily empowered by God, in his usual state we could defeat him with little difficult but empowered by our father directly we stand no chance" Aurelion adds.
"Your the intelligent one right? You said temporarily so we just have to wait until Michaels little boost from good ol' dad wears off right?" Lucifer says panicked "Do you really think our army will hold up against the might of our father even if it is only a portion of what Michael is empowered by?" Aurelion asks.
Lucifer had to stop and consider the situation, Michael was eviscerating their army, Satan was too busy fighting Forti, and the rest of the troops would stand no chance but even so his ego was too strong to admit defeat "Hey Michael, if your so strong come here and face me, you think your so tough taking out a few dark soldiers and lower Angels, come FACE ME!" Lucifer says smugly while putting up a broad grin.
All around Heaven would look upon the Prince they once adored and fawned over and only feel disgust seeing his true colours, imagining what Aurelion would be like even brought some of them to tears, Sera was even watching in looks of regret and inner turmoil due to being in a relationship with him, however Lucifer just looked her in the eye and turned away like she was nothing to him which to Sera felt like she had had her soul crush and erased a thousand times over and collapsed onto the floor, although she didnt faint.
"Is this what you are truly like when no one is around, an egocentric prick not caring about others its such a shame that you were always so arrogant, and that arrogance will be the end of you" Michael stated flatly "Well then come on and–" Lucifer is cut off by Michael easily hitting Lucifer so hard he collapsed in one punch and summoned a chain around his neck and pulled it and stepped on his back.
"Heaven, look at what one of the two most powerful Archangels in existence has become, prideful, overconfident, and now defeated just like that, while I will not claim to be the superior in terms of power because you know as well as I do if I were not empowered by our father I would not be nearly as strong, but Lucifer should have at least been smart ad tried to defend, now this is over All traitors will be punished" Michael issues.
Beside the humbled Lucifer was Satan still in his battle with Forti "For Heaven" The Archangel screamed as he used Excalibur to open a rift in reality to open a portal to purgatory banishing not only Satan but Forti who while being banished along with the Devil was encased in burning hot metal cuffs created by Satan while being dragged in an Angelic Warrior along with 7 Angelic children were also brought into the portal before it closed and sealed.
"No, NO!!!" Lucifer screamed "It seems your little rebellion has failed, this war is over" Michael issues to all of Heaven to here "Aurelion, help me!" Lucifer screams "I already know you would put up a much better fight than this pathetic excuse for a Prince of Heaven, but you know as I am now you stand no chance so I will give you the chance to surrender" Michael states.
"But you however Lucifer, you are more at fault her taking advantage of the love your father has given is a grave mistake you will repent for with your life" Michael issues bitterly which causes Lucifer to feel true fear for the first time in his life "Brother I ask you to reconsider, please" Zadkiel pleads.
"Because of Lucifer Heaven has lost 7 Archangels in a single day, we are beyond lucky to have sealed away a Light Beyond the Stars, and if he is to live who can say what Atrocities will come next?"Michael states "But brother, what about Aurelion why are you only blaming Lucifer?" Zadkiel asks "Because brother, your correct that Aurelion may be as much to blame as Lucifer is but he is not stupid or naive in the way Lucier is, better yet and most importantly hes not as prideful or arrogant Aurelion will be more well behaved" Michael explains.
"Your getting your personal emotions get in the way of proper judgment Michael, please this is not the way" Zadkiel says concerned "You speak to me as though I dont know judgement when I embody the Virtue of Justice? There is only one way to truly end this" Michael issues as he holds his blade above Lucifer.
"Brother no!" Zadkiel says as he shields Lucifer with his body, all of Heaven gasps "Zadkiel!" Sandalphon screams albeit her voice is strained due to her injuries not having fully healed yet "His wounds are not fatal, he will live; Regardless due to the sincerity of our brother I will besiege mercy onto these traitors of the Heavenly Order" Michael issues.
Eventually the entire Army is sat outside of the Golden Gates with Lucifer and Aurelion sat at the forefronts of the army "I hope you know Father could not bear to see his most beloved face punishment, but I am more than happy to deliver it for him" Michael states.
"Lucifer and Aurelion Morningstar for your, your armies, and your allies crimes against Heaven you are hereby banished" Michael sates as as he does the clouds of Heaven disperse on the failed rebellion leading down into an interdimensional gate to an empty crimson realm for the people that had been punished by God; The Rebellion had failed and the twin brothers had lost, and now they are all damned.
