Chapter 1 - Prologue: The Archangels' Oath

Long ago, before the age of Kingdoms and Empires, when the world was still shrouded in chaos and shadow, the Creator looked upon the mortal realm with sorrow.

Humanity, fragile and broken, cried out for salvation.

To restore balance and protect the fragile light of humanity, He forged seven celestial beings from His divine essence—the Seven Divine Archangels, radiant and eternal.

Each Archangel embodied one of the Seven Holy Virtues, and their names became sacred:

Lucifer, Archangel of Humility – to serve without pride or reward.

Michael, Archangel of Justice – to stand against evil without fear.

Gabriel, Archangel of Faith – to believe even when all hope fades.

Raphael, Archangel of Compassion – to heal the wounded and comfort the broken.

Zadkiel, Archangel of Patience – to endure hardship and guide others with calm wisdom.

Uriel, Archangel of Valor – to lead armies and face darkness without hesitation.

Raziel, Archangel of Wisdom – to illuminate the path of truth.

Lucifer was the Leader of the Archangels. The Creator made him the most beautiful, intelligent, and powerful of them all—entrusting him with authority as the General of Heaven's Armies.

Lucifer began to question his place—his obedience, his rank, and the limits of his power. He desired not to serve, but to rule. He longed to be equal to the Creator—craving greater power and dominion.

The Creator sensed this unrest and warned Lucifer to remain faithful.

But Lucifer did not listen.

He whispered rebellion into the ears of many angels. He tempted his brother Zadkiel, the Archangel of Patience with promises of glory and dominion. Zadkiel, deceived by Lucifer's words, joined the rebellion. And together, they led the first war against the heavens.

The uprising was swift—but it was no match for the divine will. Lucifer and his followers were defeated by the Creator and cast down from Heaven.

Their rebellion was crushed, their wings torn, and their halos shattered. As punishment, the Creator hurled them into a prison of eternal night—the Abyss, a realm where light is devoured, time decays, and hatred never dies.

There, they transformed.

Grace gave way to monstrous hunger. The Archangels became demons. Their virtues became the Seven Deadly Sins.

In their hatred, they swore vengeance—not just against Heaven, but against the Creator's greatest creation: mankind.

They emerged again, twisted by the Abyss into something monstrous. With corrupted souls and fallen grace, they sought to ruin the mortal realm.

But the remaining Archangels stood firm. Led by Michael, the new General of Heaven, they fought back and sealed the traitors away once more.

Yet prophecy speaks of their return.

One day, Lucifer and Zadkiel will rise again—bringing with them the flames of rebellion and the shadows of destruction.

They are now known as the Seven Deadly Demons, the Rulers of the Abyss. Lucifer appointed his most powerful followers as princes and princesses of his dark dominion:

The Seven Deadly Rulers of the Abyss

Lucifer – Demon King of Pride

> Once the Archangel of Humility, now the radiant tyrant of the Abyss.

Lucifer wears a crown of shattered halos and a cloak of black flame. His beauty is blinding, but his heart is ice. Pride made him rebel, and now he seeks to unmake the world in his image. All other sins are born from pride—making him the most dangerous of all.

---

Zadkiel – Demon of Envy

> Former Archangel of Patience, twisted by jealousy.

Zadkiel's eyes reflect the desires of others and poison them with longing. He spreads resentment and bitterness, turning allies against each other. Quiet, calculating, and treacherous, Envy corrupts silently—but deeply.

---

Vandros – Demon of Wrath

Vandros is destruction incarnate. His sword cries for vengeance, and his steps scorch the earth. Wrath devours reason, leaving only blood and fire in its wake.

---

Vorgath – Demon of Greed

Vorgath hoards souls, kingdoms, and power. His breath petrifies the living, and his hunger is endless. Greed drives betrayal, war, and tyranny—feeding the Abyss with every stolen treasure.

---

Lilith – Demoness of Lust

Draped in cursed silk, Lilith seduces minds and souls alike. She enslaves with beauty and leaves nothing but ruin. Lust blinds judgment and opens hearts to corruption.

---

Gorvain – Demon of Gluttony

Gorvain consumes all—forests, cities, even time itself. His stench wilts life, and his voice is hunger manifest. Gluttony brings decay, excess, and slow collapse.

---

Morzika – Demoness of Sloth

Morzika whispers stillness and despair. Her presence steals will and purpose, making even heroes surrender to oblivion. Sloth doesn't destroy with force—it lets the world rot in silence.

And so, the war between light and darkness begins anew.

Twisted and reborn, they raised armies of monsters—vampires, werewolves, witches, ogres, goblins, giants, ghouls, and other unnameable horrors—creatures of nightmare, born from sin, suffering, and shattered grace.

The sky wept blood.

The rivers ran black.

And once more… mankind cried out.

But this time…

Heaven did not answer.

Not because it could not—

…but because humanity had turned away.

They sinned without shame.

They defied the divine.

Some even denied the Creator's existence.

Ashamed of the betrayal of their fallen kin and disillusioned by humanity's corruption, the remaining Archangels sealed the Abyss and turned their gaze from the world below.

They did not intervene.

They did not descend.

They simply… watched.

And so, the mortal realm was left to bleed.

Alone.

Forsaken.

Awaiting either salvation—or extinction.

Worse still, the sins of mankind feed the demons' power. The more humans stray into wickedness, the stronger the Abyss becomes.

---

But not all hope was lost.

Though Heaven turned its gaze in silence,

the Creator had not abandoned the world completely.

He would not interfere—

Not directly.

But He would prepare them.

He would give them the tools to survive…

or perish on their own terms.

---

The Gifts of the Archangels

To protect the world from the rising darkness and unspeakable horrors, the Creator commanded the remaining Archangels to empower mankind—

not with divine salvation,

…but with sacred strength.

In secret, they descended—not as saviors,

but as teachers.

And with them came celestial gifts:

Tomes, filled with sacred spells, mystical abilities, and battle-forged skills capable of resisting corruption.

Sacred weapons and relics, blessed in Heaven's eternal fire—each one infused with divine purpose, each one crafted to destroy monsters and defy death.

These gifts were not for the weak.

Only the chosen could wield them.

Only the brave.

The desperate.

The damned.

---

Those who trained to bear these powers became known as Adventurers—the final guardians of the mortal realm.

Warriors who bled in place of angels.

To prepare them for the battles ahead, the Archangels and mankind built a grand Academy—

a sanctuary of divine steel and arcane flame, where the next generation would rise or fall.

---

Together, they forged an army not of angels—

…but of humans who would fight like them.

For the Abyss stirs once more.

The seals weaken.

And the sins of mankind feed the enemy.

The Archangels will not fight this war.

The mortals must.

And among them, a girl named Klera is chosen—

armed with a psychic amulet,

and a fate written in divine blood.
