As I opened my eyes , I sighed - 'another attempt in living life'. I wondered when did I become so pessimistic? Was it when my mother died? Unable to handle the world's cruelty. Or when my sister - my last family member also died? An accident - a drunk driver who just happened to drive on the footpath and my sister who just happened walk on that same footpath. From that moment onwards I was all alone against the world. I think I still had a positive outlook on life then , but it all changed when I got hired for that damned company. It was a regular day , I got up from the bed same as usual , a little late may be. Boarded the metro , listening to my music. When I arrived at my company, I could feel atmosphere was tense, I asked what happened? Our company is being raided for embezzlement. One guy answered. Present day
After bathing , I then sat on the hard bed. My routine in this jail was - wake , eat, sleep , stare into the walls and again sleep. It has been approximately 1 year I am in jail. Earlier I had thoughts of revenge against the company , but I soon realised I couldn't do anything. Now all I think about is my sad life.
