Beneath the silent waves, between tight, suffocating walls,
moved the Storm Unit — 30 chosen fighters, trained to fight without sound, almost without breath.
Ahead of them walked Van.
Not in his imperial armor, but in a black cloak and the triple-shadow armor he crafted especially for this night.
He said softly as he tied his dagger to his thigh:
"No negotiations. No retreat.
If I die… don't save me, save her."

The tunnel was breached, entering the first chamber beneath the fortress.
The place was like a devil's dungeon: walls green with moisture, water flowing beneath their feet.
The smell was rotten, the air heavy.
But Van did not stop.
He led his unit room by room — killers melting into shadows, silently slaughtering.
No guard's scream was heard.
No dust rose from broken walls.

Reached the final point… the cell locked with black iron.
Van stood before it.
His heart screamed, his hand trembled.

He ran to her, knelt, placed his hand on her forehead, then looked at the child…
His eyelids fluttered, his hand trembled, his heart didn't know how to beat.
He whispered:
"Is he… my child?"
She nodded.
Then, for the first time in his life, Van wept before someone.
He embraced Nerin and the child between his arms, saying:
"I'm here… late, but I'm here."

looking eastward where the first thread of light appeared.
He whispered:

but I will make it a paradise… for you."
