3rd POV:
8 months have passed since the encounter with the wolf. Augustus was sitting next to the bed where Samael lay. *Please wake up soon.* The room is quiet as Augustus sits by the bedside of his best friend. "I reached the 3rd stage of the Body Refinement Realm today. You have a lot of catching up to do, Mael." A sad giggle echoes throughout the small barren room, but there is no response. Samael is still just lying there, completely unresponsive. Minutes pass then a voice echoes out through the room. "That poor child. It's strange, there's nothing wrong with him. No sign of damage on his soul or his body. It's like his mind has just shut down." "Greetings, Teacher!" Augustus stands up and exclaims, giving a small bow in Sarah's direction before going back to taking care of Samael. "Is there nothing you can do, Teacher?" "There's nothing, he will have to wake up on his own." "IT'S BEEN EIGHT MONTHS ALREADY!!! WHAT DO YOU MEAN WAIT FOR HIM TO WAKE UP ON HIS OWN!!" Augustus lets out all his pent-up emotions in a rage. Tears well up in his eyes as he whispers: "He's like a brother to me, I need him, please, I'll do anything, Teacher." Suddenly a thought enters Augustus' head. *What about the Teacher's husband? Isn't he even stronger than Teacher?* A glimmer of hope begins to show on Augustus' face. He turns around looking at her and asks: "What about your husband Teacher? Isn't he even stronger than you are? Can't he come and try to help Mael?" "My husband won't be back for several years at least, child. It could be decades before he's back." A sad smile creeps across Sarah's face as she looks at the two boys.
Samael was stuck in an infinite white void. Anywhere he looked, there was just white emptiness. He didn't know how long he had been there, didn't know where he was, didn't even know if he was still alive. He didn't seem to feel any hunger or exhaustion in this place, so he kept moving, searching for a way out, for a way back home. After what felt like months of searching, he saw something new. Something different from the unchanging white void. It was a construct of some sort. He couldn't understand what he was looking at. It was like it morphed around itself, parts of it vanishing, only to reappear at a totally different part of the construct. The thing seemed solid as it floated in the air, slowly spinning and ever-changing, but when he reached out to touch it, his hand stopped several inches away from it. It was as though there was an invisible wall between him and the floating construct. He tried again, and again. Tried hundreds of angles to reach the object behind the invisible wall, but nothing he did got him any closer. So he sat down and looked at it. Studied its form. How it looked, how it changed, how it spun. As he was studying it two words echoed in his mind; *Bloodline Core.* "Huh? What was that? Bloodline Core? What is a Bloodline Core and why is it showing itself to me? Is it my Bloodline Core?" A small frown makes itself known on Samael's face as he continues muttering to himself.
At the same time with Samael's real body, a blue light begins to shine throughout the room. The light becomes brighter and brighter as it fills the room. "Quick, come here child!" Sarah's shield of energy covers herself and the boy as a noise like humming electricity drowns out all other sounds. *That's, a Bloodline Awakening? How is that possible? There shouldn't be a Bloodline anywhere near as powerful as this in a 3rd Dimensional Reality!* The hum grows louder and the space around Samael begins to fold into itself. "Master! What the hell is happening?!" "It's a Bloodline Awakening, child. It appears it is quite powerful as well. The boy is lucky he didn't die from his bloodline overloading his body already." A shape begins to form above Samael's face. It looked like a tesseract, spinning around itself as it shifted in the 4th dimensional space. The tesseract slowly lowers and enters into Samael's forehead, leaving a mark like a falling drop of water. Samael's eyes open and he begins to float up into the air. "Shit" Sarah's energy field spreads out, covering the entire Dimension in a protective layer. *It's incredible, I've never seen such a strong Bloodline.* A pulse flows out, moving at speeds incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It throws Sarah and Augustus back as it passes them, accelerating into infinity. It continues to traverse the far reaches of the Geraldverse itself, like a beacon in a dark night it grabs the attention of powerful beings from all over the 3rd Dimensional and 4th Dimensional Realities.
Samael is lying on the bed again. The room is completely destroyed by the rampaging energy of his Bloodline awakening. His eyes open and he looks around confused. "Where am I?" *I was just in that white void, how did I get into this room?* He continues looking around when he sees Augustus and Sarah standing there, looking at him. Tears welled in Augustus' eyes as he rushed forward to Samael, hugging him tightly. Samael looked different. His pale white skin had taken on a slightly gray tone and his height had increased. He was now almost as tall as Augustus standing at 5'2". His hair had grown even longer, reaching almost down to his waist. The hair now had a shimmer to it, almost like stars in a black night sky. The boys' formerly white pupils had gained a golden tinge to them and that seemed to shift and change like liquid gold. "Hey, Aug. Are you okay?." Augustus separated from the hug and looked at Samael. "I'm ok Mael, more importantly, are you ok? You've been unconscious for over 8 months." "8 months? But I feel great like I'm overflowing with strength. How is my body in such good condition if I've been lying still for 8 months?" Samael looks past Augustus and sees Sarah standing in the corner, a shocked look on her face. Her voice trembles slightly as she says: "Let me take a look at you, child. You just had a Bloodline awakening, and it was very violent. I need to make sure it didn't do any lasting damage."
