Synopsis
SYNOPSIS- John Carter a just a regular chill guy who was living his life in complete boredom. But John was anything but normal, he is very famous and Successful lawyer who had never lost a single case in his life, in the eyes of public--- he is like celebrity, but in his own eyes--- he is just a failure of a man. But it all changed when he met the love of his life, Melissa Smith. Through their interaction, John's life was slowly coming back to the track but then as if the very Universe was mocking him--- 'BAM' 'BAM' 'BAM' He was shot three times on the very day he proposed to Melissa, and with that--- his story has John Carted was over. But then he opened his eyes in the White Void and find that Morgan Freeman---the Big G himself is giving him an offer to start a new life in different World with powers of his own. So, who was he to say no to Morgan Freeman. And now here he is--- in this world, in the body of nine-year old kid with the power to blow-up a planet with just a fart. 'sigh' "What a drag--- I am just a chill guy, then why this so-called non-sense peoples are after me and why does this Einsten looking old man wants to dissect me." ------------- This is a really slow-paced story, as we all know writing a story with a super Overpowered Mc is really difficult. But I am willing to give it a shot. Mc is just a chill guy with no hero or right doing syndrome, yet he will make his move within the shadows and slowly change the World into his own image. Note that he is not evil but a default neutral, but--- if anyone touches the peoples he cares about, well...they are getting RIPPED in half. #nopairing#noharem#slowpaced There will be only one or two chapters per week, no fixed timing---any day at any time. THIS An ORIGINAL WORK, NO TRANSLATION OR ANY KIND OF BULLSHIT. I AM WRITING THE CHAPTERS BY MY OWN AND THEN USING CHATGPT FOR CORRECTING ANY KINDS OF ERRORS. AFTER THAT, I AM RE-READING THE REVISED VERSION FOR ANY EXTRA AI COMPONENTS AND CORRECTING IT. SO, THIS IS A 50-50 WORK. IF ANY OF YOU OUT THERE COMMENTED ME THAT THIS THING IS AI OR CHINESE TRANSLATION....I HAVE NO WORDS FOR YOU.

John Carter, a 32-year-old man with light blond hair and a decent build, was in a very compromised position… You see, he had been shot three times and was now sprawled on the ground, bleeding heavily. But none of it mattered to him. His gaze slowly shifted toward the only woman he had ever fallen in love with—Melissa Smith. She was crawling toward him, tears streaking down her red, puffy eyes as she desperately called his name. Seeing her in such a broken state because of him shattered his heart. Yet, knowing how genuinely she loved him brought a small smile to his face.

To think he would ever be loved so deeply… He shakily lifted his hand toward her and muttered her name with a trembling voice, "…M…li…s..sa…" Hearing him call for her only made Melissa cry harder. She finally reached him, gently taking his hand in hers. "John… sniff please stay with me. You can't… sniff you can't leave me like this…" she whispered, trying desperately to keep him conscious until the paramedics arrived.

Her desperation stung John's heart more than the gunshots ever could. His eyes began to glaze over as darkness closed in. 'So, this is it… the end of my story…' He could still hear Melissa's cries and the distant sirens approaching, but his body had lost too much blood. He knew the end was near. At least, he would take his final breath in the arms of the woman he loved.

In this moment between life and death, memories flashed before his eyes—his childhood in a broken home, an abusive father, and a quiet, mentally ill mother. His father, a corrupt police officer, had only married his mother for political leverage. She was the daughter of a high-ranking officer who secretly funded mafia activities. After John's birth, she had been institutionalized.

Growing up in such a home taught John that no one cared about you unless you had value—be it looks or wealth. After graduating high school, he left home, lived in a rented apartment, and worked part-time while studying law at a local community college. One blessing he had was a photographic memory. He graduated top of his class and soon opened his own law office.

With his sharp memory, he memorized entire law books. Within three years, he built a strong reputation, never losing a case. Most of his clients were gangsters and mafia members, but they paid handsomely. John never considered himself good or bad—just a man making money and living life on his own terms. Raised amidst corruption, it was a miracle he didn't end up like his father.

Despite his success, life became dull. He lived alone in a luxurious apartment, but he was empty. Dating was a failure—women were drawn to his status or money, not him. It wasn't until his fifteenth attempt that he met Melissa—a kind, chatty woman in a wheelchair. She had been paralyzed since the age of nine due to an accident. But that didn't deter John. Within three months, they had fallen deeply in love. She understood him in ways no one else ever had, and he loved her for who she was.

Today was supposed to be the happiest day of his life. He proposed, and Melissa said yes without hesitation. As he placed the ring on her finger, she cried and pulled him into a deep, loving kiss. But everything turned to chaos when a man suddenly pulled out a gun and shot him three times. "This is for my son," the man said before running off.

As his memories ended, mere seconds had passed in reality. John looked at Melissa with glassy eyes, holding her hand tightly with the last of his strength. He whispered his final words, "...I love you…" and with that, he took his final breath. A peaceful expression graced his face as he closed his eyes for the last time.

He opened his eyes.

Blinking a few times, he adjusted to the bright surroundings. Everything was white. "What the!?" he exclaimed, looking around in confusion—until he heard a voice from behind.

"John Carter."

He turned sharply, shocked. "Morgan Freeman?" he muttered.

The man smiled and shook his head. "No, John. I'm not who you think I am. I took this form to keep your mind at ease. It seems when humans think of me, they picture Morgan Freeman."

Suddenly, it clicked. "You're… God."

God smiled. "Yes, I am the Big G. And you, John, are one of the few lucky souls granted the chance to be reborn in another world—with powers and blessings."

He snapped his fingers, and they were now in John's office. God sat in his chair, and John was across from him.

"Before we begin, do you have any questions?"

John thought about the man who shot him but held back. Instead, he asked, "How is Melissa? Is she safe?"

God leaned forward and tapped the desk, which turned into a screen showing Melissa—dressed in black, crying in front of a fresh grave.

"As you can see, she is in pain. But don't worry—her love for you is stronger than her grief. She will smile again." He waved his hand, and the scene changed. Melissa was older, smiling, and moving on with life… but still wore the engagement ring. "She lived her whole life as your widow," God said.

John was stunned. Why would she do that? He wasn't a good man—he defended criminals for a living. As if reading his thoughts, God explained, "You did nothing wrong. A lawyer defends. A soldier fights. Both are doing their jobs. People will see you as good or bad depending on perspective. Melissa saw who you truly were."

John nodded, finally understanding. God smiled. "Shall we begin your transfer?"

He clapped, and three roulettes appeared on the desk: Power, Extra Pack, and Worlds.

"Spin the first one," God said.

John spun the Power roulette. It slowed… and landed on SENTRY.

"…Wow," he muttered. God chuckled. "You're lucky today."

Next came the Extra Pack. He spun it. It stopped on OUTERVERSAL POTENTIAL.

John blinked, confused. "What's that?"

God's expression turned serious. "That's a rare one. Outerversal Potential refers to beings who transcend space, time, and dimensionality—far beyond multiversal. You're blessed beyond measure."

John was stunned.

"And to clarify," God added, "you're getting a fully realized version of Sentry—no Void, no mental instability, complete control. Imagine what a stable, limitless Sentry could become…"

"A force beyond imagination…" John whispered.

He spun the final roulette—Worlds. It landed on ONE PIECE.

John sighed. "Great… I should've read the manga instead of just watching YouTube clips and Reddit debates."

God laughed. "Why worry? You're stronger than most comic and manga characters combined."

"Yeah… You're right."

They returned to the white void. God extended his hand. "It's time to say goodbye."

John shook his hand. "Thank you."

"For what?" God asked.

"For showing me Melissa is safe."

God nodded.

John's body began to glow. And then… he was gone.

His new adventure had begun.
