"You've always been so fucking ungrateful," Dominic spat, his face flushed with anger.
Arthur's expression turned glacial. I'd never seen him look so dangerous.
"Watch your mouth, Beaumont," he said, his voice dropping to a deadly whisper. "You seem to have forgotten who I am."
Dominic faltered slightly. "You may control Sterling Group now, but you're still—"
"Still what?" Arthur took a step toward him. "The premature baby you all expected to die? The disappointment my father never wanted? That boy is gone."
I stood frozen, not daring to breathe.
"Let me remind you," Arthur continued, each word precise and cutting, "I'm the man who brought your precious uncle's company to its knees in three months. I'm the reason half your board members wake up in cold sweats. And I'm the one person in this family you don't want as an enemy."
Dominic's face paled. "Are you threatening me?"
