Chapter 11 - The Shattered Mirror

The city's skyline shimmered faintly through the rain-streaked windows of Reynaldi's office. Inside, the atmosphere was thick with tension, every breath heavy with impending doom. Reynaldi sat staring at his laptop, eyes glued to a series of encrypted messages that flickered across the screen.

Every passing second brought him closer to the truth—or the brink of disaster.

His mind was a whirlwind of suspicion—who could he trust? Who was secretly working against him? And most importantly—**how much did they already know?**

Suddenly, his phone buzzed, jolting him from his thoughts. He snatched it up and read the message: **"They're closer than you think. Be prepared."**

A cold sweat broke out on his forehead.

**Someone was watching. Someone was waiting.**

---

**Meanwhile, in a hidden location on the outskirts of Jakarta,** a figure cloaked in black moved with silent precision. The shadows cloaked their movements, every step deliberate, every breath controlled.

This was the *Puppet Master*, the unseen puppeteer pulling strings behind the chaos. They watched the city's chaos unfold on a bank of monitors, their eyes gleaming with dark satisfaction.

"They're fragile now," the voice whispered. "But the storm has only just begun. Soon, they'll be nothing but shattered glass."

With a flick of their hand, a map of Jakarta lit up with blinking red dots.

"Time to strike," the voice commanded.

---

**Back at the hospital,** Dito's tiny chest rose and fell weakly. The monitors beeped rhythmically, echoing the fragile hope that he might survive.

Livia sat beside her brother, clutching his small hand, her tears falling silently. Her mind was a storm of guilt and fear—she blamed herself for her helplessness, for the dangerous game she was caught in.

Reynaldi approached her quietly, his face etched with exhaustion but his eyes burning with determination.

"We're close," he whispered. "But we need to act fast. Someone in our circle has betrayed us—someone feeding information to the enemies."

Her heart clenched. "Could it be Rania? Or someone else?"

He hesitated, then looked directly at her. "It's more complicated. It's someone you'd never suspect—someone inside the company, someone we trusted."

Her stomach twisted. The betrayal was worse than she imagined.

**And in that moment, a faint, encrypted message appeared on her phone:**

**"They're coming for us. Be ready."**

Her heart pounded wildly.

Reynaldi's jaw tightened. "We need to move tonight. Before it's too late."

---

**Later that night,** the hotel's security system was breached. An infiltrator—an expert hacker—moved swiftly, manipulating the cameras and communication lines.

They planted false clues, set traps, and prepared for the chaos to come.

Their message was simple, deadly: **"Let the chaos begin."**

In the shadows, the Puppet Master watched, their grin dark and cold.

"You think you're safe now?" they muttered. "You're only just beginning to see the true darkness."

---

**Meanwhile, in a secret hideout,** Rania sat alone, her face pale but resolute. She clenched her fists tightly, her mind racing with plans.

"They're onto us," she whispered. "But I won't let them stop us. Not now."

Her eyes flickered with dangerous resolve.

"I've come too far," she murmured. "And I will burn everything to the ground if I have to."

Her phone buzzed suddenly. She glanced at it, her expression cold.

**"They're aware of your plans,"** the message read. **"You need to act now or lose everything."**

She took a deep breath. "Good," she whispered. "Let's see how far they'll go."

---

**In another corner of the city,** a mysterious figure moved swiftly through the dark streets. Cloaked in black, they had a purpose—disrupt, destroy, and manipulate. Their eyes gleamed with ruthless intent.

The game had reached its deadliest phase.

And no one was safe.

---

**In the hospital,** Dito's condition was worsening. The doctors fought desperately, but the danger was imminent.

Livia sat beside him, clutching his tiny hand, whispering promises she wasn't sure she could keep.

"Please, Dito," she whispered, voice trembling. "Stay with me. I promise I'll do everything I can."

Reynaldi approached quietly, his face grim. "We're running out of options," he said softly. "Someone inside our circle is feeding the enemy. We have to root them out—before it's too late."

Her eyes widened with suspicion. "Could it be Rania? Or someone else?"

He shook his head slowly. "It's someone even closer—someone we've trusted all along."

Her stomach sank. The betrayal was worse than she'd ever imagined.

---

**In a quiet, dark room,** the Puppet Master pressed a button, and a map of Jakarta lit up with blinking lights.

"Let chaos reign," the voice whispered. "They'll never see it coming."

The web of deception was closing tighter, and the storm was about to engulf them all.
