Synopsis
Whispers of the Unborn A novel of souls caught between karma and compassion In the hidden spaces between life and death, where time softens and memory breathes, the voices of unborn children cry not for justice, but for understanding. Whispers of the Unborn is a haunting, lyrical journey into the forgotten realm of spirits who were never born, and the men and women who carry their silent echoes. Set against a backdrop of modern dilemmas, quiet rural lives, and timeless Buddhist teachings, this powerful novel explores the unseen consequences of choices made in desperation, fear, or silence. Through intertwining stories of parents who once abandoned a heartbeat and now search for redemption, and unborn souls who yearn for peace, the book gently illuminates questions that linger in the depths of the human spirit: What happens to a life that never began? Can compassion transcend lifetimes? Is forgiveness possible between worlds? Written with poetic grace and emotional depth, Whispers of the Unborn invites readers into a realm where karmic ties, grief, and spiritual awakening converge. A story that dares to listen to the voices no one hears—and in doing so, finds a fragile, luminous hope.

Chapter 1 -  FOREWORD

FOREWORD

Abortion remains one of the most complex and controversial issues of our time. Those who support it, and those who oppose it, each carry reasons deeply rooted in their beliefs, ethics, life circumstances, and personal perspectives.

This book does not seek to judge, persuade, or impose any particular view. Rather, it offers a collection of real stories—slices of life shared in honesty and pain—with the hope that they may offer solace or clarity to those standing at a crossroads.

To anyone who carries within them a "faded shadow"—a quiet, hidden grief, a story left untold out of fear or guilt—I hope these pages encourage you to speak, to share. Because sometimes, in the most unexpected ways, your voice may save another life.

I extend my deepest gratitude to God, to the beloved souls in my family who have passed on, and especially to my two fathers. I am equally thankful to my two mothers, who shaped my heart with their unconditional love, compassion, and tireless sacrifice.

To my extended family, dear friends, and kindred spirits who have stood by me on this journey—thank you. Your support has been the quiet force that brought this book into being. And above all, to my wife and children—my greatest source of inspiration and strength—I dedicate this work to you.

As an IT engineer, I am acutely aware of both the promise and perils that artificial intelligence (AI) brings in this rapidly evolving age. Yet I also acknowledge the valuable role AI played in helping me complete this book. It supported me through limitations in language, and in some moments, helped illuminate emotions I struggled to express.

One final note: most major religions have long opposed abortion in all its forms. This resistance has persisted across centuries, cultures, and belief systems. Why? This book does not attempt to provide definitive answers. Instead, it invites you—the reader—to ask the hardest questions.

Though some chapters may be difficult to read, I ask that you receive them with an open heart. May every story here spark reflection, compassion, and perhaps, a quiet courage.

And if just one life is saved, or one heart is softened, then this book will have served its purpose.
