Julian's eyes flashed with triumph as he stepped into the bathroom, immediately blocking my exit. My heart hammered against my ribcage as I clutched the towel tighter around my dripping body.
"Get out," I demanded, trying to keep my voice steady.
"This is my bathroom," he replied, his amber gaze trailing over me with predatory intensity. "And you're my mate."
I backed away until my spine pressed against the cold marble countertop. "I'm leaving."
When I tried to sidestep him, Julian's arm shot out, caging me against the counter. His proximity was suffocating, the heat of his body radiating through the thin towel.
"We're not done talking," he growled, leaning closer.
"There's nothing to discuss."
His nostrils flared as he inhaled deeply, and I knew he was scenting me. "Your body says otherwise."
"My body is betraying me," I snapped. "It doesn't know any better."
A dangerous smile curved his lips. "Then let me remind it exactly who it belongs to."
