Nerissa was an extremely technologically advanced planet.
It was divided into four main regions, each with its own rural and urban areas. Even the village, on the most marginal outskirts, was equipped with advanced systems and technologies.
Each region hosted an Academy, the most important institution that all Nerys had to attend once their powers manifested. It was there that they learned how to control and make the most of the potential of their gifts.
They were sorted between the four Academies – North, South, East and West – without taking into account the clan they belonged to.
Inside the Academies, they could freely show off their skills thanks to the Guard, made up of the Trydans. One of the most respected clans, famous for its protective shields. Thanks to them the powers were contained and attenuated.
Among the clans, the Seibers were also highly esteemed, the technological experts, with the most appropriate powers in that cutting-edge world. They were the ones who allowed such progress.
Tywods were also called daydreamers, because they were able to create or manipulate dreams in conscious and unconscious minds.
The Aderyns had extremely developed senses – like the camouflages, the Clyweds – plus they could transform into any animal they wanted.
The Cryfs were instead equipped with extraordinary strength and incredible speed, but were not able to match the teleportation of the Hedfan, those who also crossed surfaces.
Among the most feared were the Luns, a clan made up of women, capable of creating and destroying with the strength of their mind, and the Glawogs, the dominators of life and the elements. Their abilities were considered among the most powerful, but also the most dangerous.
