Chapter 1 - Falling between fantasy

" it's ordinary to love the beautiful ‚ but it's beautiful to

Love the ordinary ".

The G.H.S.S campus stood like a palace carved out of gold — tall white buildings kissed by the morning sun, glass windows glinting like stars, and students in sharp, navy blazers walking past marble fountains with laughter in the air. It looked less like a school and more like a movie set.

A black car rolled slowly in front of the gate, its tires humming against the polished road. Behind the tinted window, a girl with long black hair and blue eyes peeked out — her gaze filled with awe. Her heart fluttered. "This is it," she thought. "This is the dream."

aria's POV___

This is soooo beautiful...

But I don't have the blessing to enter here.

If that accident hadn't happened, I would've been one of them now. I could've walked these halls, smiled at him every day...

I hope Uncle John does his best and gets me into my dream — G.H.S.S.

(The car slowly rolled forward… and after a few minutes, it stopped again — but this time, in front of a completely different place.)

"Ma'am, we're here," the driver said.

I stepped out slowly. My eyes lifted to the building standing ahead.

This was it — my new, but only temporary, school.

It was bigger than I expected, but…

As I walked past the front gate, I couldn't help but notice the garden — wide, yes, but overgrown, like it hadn't been touched in years.

The walls were dusty. Cracked. Stained.

Is this really… a school?

Finally...

11th A – Science.

The only science batch in the entire school.

This place is worse than I expected...

"Sir, may I?" I asked, poking my head through the classroom door.

The teacher, who looked like he had fought a war just trying to control the students, glanced up.

"Are you Aria?"

I nodded. I could feel every eye in that room fixed on me, scanning me like I was some alien species.

"Yes."

"Come in. Why are you late?"

"I'm sorry, sir. It took me some time to find the class."

Suddenly, BANG! — he smacked the table with his hand.

Pin-drop silence.

"This is your new classmate. Aria," he announced dryly.

I turned slowly to face the class.

Wait... What?

There were barely ten students. And among them — only one girl.

Before I could process more, the teacher grabbed his book and walked out like he'd had enough.

No class? Seriously?

Everyone just… stared.

I stood frozen for a second, then slowly walked to the back row near the window and slid into the seat, trying not to meet anyone's eyes.

"Heyyy!"

I turned. The girl was smiling brightly.

"I'm Sona. You're Aria, right?"

I nodded. "Yeah… Nice to meet you."

Sona had short hair dyed in blue, pink, and violet — it matched her playful, slightly chaotic energy.

I had promised myself I wouldn't get attached here… but she made that promise feel kind of pointless.

"Your vibe's different," she said, scanning me with genuine curiosity. "New girl energy. I like it."

I was about to respond when—

"Already making friends without me, Sona? How rude."

A guy slid into the bench in front of us. He had sharp wolf-cut hair, a smirk that looked like trouble, and the kind of body language that said center of attention.

"I'm Leo," he said with a wink. "Nice to meet you, mysterious new girl."

Sona groaned. "Still with the flirting? Aren't we done?"

"Emotionally? Never." He clutched his heart dramatically. "Besides, maybe your new friend here has better taste."

Before I could speak, someone stepped between us — tall, serious, with tan skin, neatly combed hair, and thin-rimmed glasses.

"Stop it, Leo," he said firmly. "Don't mess with her."

Then, turning to me, he added, "I'm Rithul. Class monitor. Ignore these two."

"Thanks," I said softly. He seemed... stable. Finally.

"HELLO?!" a voice piped up from behind Rithul.

A short, round-faced boy popped into view, practically glowing with energy.

"I'm Aswin! Leo's assistant, the real boss of this class, and the only reason people smile in this school."

"Because you never stop talking," Rithul muttered.

Sona laughed. "You'll get used to them. Trust me."

After some moments…

Yes, just like always — nothing went as I planned.

I thought I wouldn't talk to anyone, but… here I am.

And somehow, I already made a friend. Sona.

She's full of energy. Like, seriously — she doesn't even close her mouth for a second.

But that's… kinda cute.

What must my handsome Sinas be doing now?

I'm not at G.H.S.S. — I lost that chance. But I got admitted here at K.H.S.S., only because this school is near his.

Even though I'm not there… at least I can be close.

But sitting here and doing nothing is driving me crazy.

From the way Sona and the others talk, they really seem to hate G.H.S.S.

So... bringing it up openly? Definitely not a good idea.

"Hmmm, yeah... I've also heard a lot about that school," I said, testing the waters.

"Really?" Sona raised an eyebrow. "But I'm pretty sure most of what you heard is fake news."

"Maybe," I said with a half-smile, "but it's kinda hard to believe."

"Hard to believe what?" Sona asked, narrowing her eyes.

I hesitated, then decided to just say it.

"Actually… I'm kind of a fan of Sinas — you know, that guy from the school nearby. But the way you're talking about your rival school… it doesn't sound anything like the place I imagined."

Sona rolled her eyes so hard I thought they'd spin out of her head.

"I knew it. I expected you'd be one of his fans." She crossed her arms. "But sweetie, let me tell you something — reality hits hard. The Sinas you see on social media and the Sinas in real life? Totally different people."

I blinked. Her tone was serious, too serious to ignore.

"I'll prove it to you," she added, almost like a challenge.

I wanted to laugh it off. There's no way she was right… right?

Maybe Sona just had the wrong impression.

Maybe there was some misunderstanding.

Maybe someone pretended to be him.

Either way… I was going to clear it up.

For the name of my Sinas.

"I will beat his ass out!"

"How dare they—!"

I flinched as angry voices echoed outside.

What's that sound?

I leaned out of the classroom window and spotted a group of boys rushing across the ground, heading somewhere with serious heat in their steps.

"They must be going for another fight…" Sona said, casually flipping her pen. "With K.H.S.S's favorite enemy."

She glanced sideways at me and smirked.

"Ohhh, your great Sinas must be there too."

My heart skipped.

He's here? Right now?

"I'm going." I jumped from my seat.

"We're not going." Sona's tone was flat.

"Why? Didn't you say you'd prove me wrong?"

She blinked.

I smirked. "I know you won't come unless I challenge you."

Just as I thought, her pride kicked in. "Fine. Let's go."

A little while later…

Sona led me through a hidden back path behind the school — through overgrown weeds and past an old broken gate.

"This way's faster. No teachers. No cameras," she whispered.

Finally, we reached an empty, cracked street that looked like it had been forgotten for years. The path was silent, but there was a strange tension in the air — like it was waiting for something to happen.

Sona pointed to a tall tree that stood near the school's boundary wall, its thick branches stretching far beyond the fence.

"We can climb that one. From the top, we'll see everything — clearly."

We scrambled up quickly and settled onto a wide, sturdy branch hidden by leaves. From here, the view was perfect.

Below, the ground looked like a battlefield waiting for players .

The wind rustled through the leaves around us as we waited on the thick tree branch, half-hidden in green. I kept glancing down, heart racing.

Then — footsteps.

The sound of sneakers scraping against rough pavement.

Voices. Laughter. A bottle being kicked.

"They're here," Sona whispered.

From the far end of the street, a group of boys turned the corner — walking like they owned the whole city.

First came a guy who looked like he had just rolled out of a magazine shoot — messy brown hair that framed his sharp face, silver rings on his fingers, layered chains on his neck, and a confident slouch in his walk.

"That's Mirzand," Sona said. "Fashion king. Drama king. Thinks with his style, talks like a rebel. Doesn't fight unless someone touches his clothes."

He really does look like a walking Instagram filter...

Behind him walked a tall, broad-shouldered boy. He had messy black hair falling over his forehead, sharp grey eyes that seemed to scan the street like a warning. His fists were clenched, and his jaw was tight.

"Zorvath," she said, her tone dropping low.

"Don't get in his way. That one has… rage. But not the stupid kind. The cold, scary kind. If he's here, it means things are serious."

My breath caught. Something about him made me freeze. He wasn't loud like the others. He didn't need to be.

Then came three more — and their faces made me blink in disbelief.

"Wait… aren't they—"

"Yep," Sona nodded, almost bored. "You've seen them before. Everyone has. The trio."

A tall boy with sharp eyes and glasses, walking like a professor —

"Rithul. Mr. Calm and Control. Smart mouth. Doesn't talk unless it's important."

Next to him, a chubby guy bounced along with full energy —

"Aswin. Loud. Funny. Total chaos. Probably carrying snacks in his pocket."

And at the center, walking like a model straight off the ramp —

"Leo," I whispered.

"Yup. Your favorite clown," Sona muttered. "Don't ask me why, but girls still fall for him."

I stared as they took their positions, eyes focused ahead, waiting for something. Someone.

"They're all from K.H.S.S.," I said softly. "But why do they look like... characters from different worlds?"

From the other side of the street, another group appeared — walking like they were headed to a red carpet, not a fight.

They were cleaner, sharper… all styled like they'd just stepped out of a glossy ad.

And then — I saw him.

The one face that made everything else fade away.

Tall. Bright skin. Flawless hair. Eyes that always sparkled on screen, and that same lazy grin that made hearts flutter.

My breath hitched.

"I think no introduction needed for him," Sona said, rolling her eyes hard.

I didn't respond. I couldn't.

I was frozen — watching Sinas in real life.

No filters. No edits. Just him.

He was even more perfect than online.

So what if he's at a school fight? That's normal, right? Boys are like that sometimes... It doesn't change who he is. He's still that kind hearted sinas I know .

Author's POV ___

The two groups halted in the center of the abandoned street — face to face, step for step. The tension between them was so thick, even the wind seemed to pause.

From the G.H.S.S. side, a cocky voice rang out.

"Ohhh, look who's here… the great leader of the garbage gang."

Before the laughter could spread, Aswin from the K.H.S.S. group shot back.

"This isn't your reel shoot. Shut up and step into the action."

One of the boys standing beside Sinas laughed mockingly. "Why so eager to get beaten up?"

Leo stepped forward, running a hand through his hair with his signature grin.

"We'll see who ends up flat on the ground," he said calmly.

Just as the tension was about to explode, a deep, commanding voice thundered across the street.

"ENOUGH."

Silence. Dead silence.

It was Zorvath.

He stepped forward slowly, eyes locked on Sinas like a predator sizing up his prey.

"Don't touch my people," Zorvath said coldly.

"This is your last and final warning."

Sinas smiled — not the kind that warmed hearts, but the kind that chilled bones. He stepped closer, his tone turning low, dangerous.

"Cool, cool," he whispered, leaning in near Zorvath's ear.

"But before you hand out warnings, maybe be careful…"

He paused.

"History has a funny way of repeating itself… Luna. Did you forget her?"

That was all it took.

Zorvath's body tensed, and with one powerful shove, he pushed Sinas back. His fist raised high, rage written all over his face.

But before the punch could land—

CRACK.

A sudden snap echoed from above. A branch broke.

And a girl fell.

Right between them.

Aria.

She crashed into the middle of the fight, landing on the rough pavement — knees scraped, eyes wide with panic. Her fall silenced everything. Even the boys, mid-battle, froze.

Zorvath's hand hung in the air.

Sinas blinked.

The rest of the gang stood still, stunned.

No one expected her.

Least of all… her.
