Night was parlous. Even the shining stars were cowered by effing clouds. The line between coldness and dreadfullness was blurred.
Hundreds of body...of dead. Living deads, lying deads...so many deads. But all deads.
The sea of blood was spectacularly parlous, just like the night itself.
The creatures of the night drank. Drank the blood and drank the parlous night. Like it was the source of life. Like the greatest pleasure they could ever find...was in the greatest misery.
