Chapter 11 - 10.“Echoes of Power”

⚡ Scene 1 – New Power, New Problems

Two days passed since the awakening. And the Academy wasn't the same.

Everyone could feel the shift — like something had snapped loose in the world. And the ones at the center of it all?

Brian's group.

---

David crushed a reinforced simulation beast with a flick of his wrist, his fists now able to shake the floor. He flew at will, wind warping behind him, but—

"I don't feel like I earned this," he muttered.

"You're flying, bro," Niko said, stretching his limbs as he ghosted through a wall. "Earned or not, it's ours now."

Declan struggled to control the tech his body now reacted to on its own. Drones swarmed even without his command. They were listening to his subconscious.

Hayk had to keep his eyes half-shut — reality now appeared in grids and flowing data streams. He could predict footsteps, movement arcs, even emotion triggers. He barely slept.

Alcino sat with his feet sparking.

"We're not normal anymore," he whispered.

Brian said nothing.

---

☁️ Scene 2 – The Dream

That night, Brian dreamed.

But it wasn't a dream.

He stood inside a void.

And in front of him stood Cam — his exact mirror, same build, same eyes, except... darker.

And smiling.

"You've finally started," Cam said, voice like breaking glass. "Giving them power. Becoming what they need."

"I'm doing what's necessary."

"No. You're doing what you want. Just like me."

"You destroyed everything."

"So will you. You're just waiting."

Cam turned.

Behind him stood a throne of corpses and corrupted spirits.

"Soon, Brian. You'll stop pretending."

---

💀 Scene 3 – The Return of the Monster

The next day, the monster returned.

Stronger. Sleeker. Its void form more complete. And this time, it spoke out loud:

> "Brian… did you miss me?"

Everyone froze.

Brian stepped forward. "You again?"

It grinned. "Cam's watching. And he says you're late."

It vanished, reappeared behind David, launching him through three towers.

The battle began.

---

⚔️ Scene 4 – The True Battle

This wasn't like last time.

David recovered instantly, soaring back and slamming the monster into the ground.

Niko and Alcino blurred through time-skips and speed trails, slashing it open from twelve angles at once.

Declan dropped a mobile turret grid, turning the sky into a laser storm.

Hayk froze the entire battlefield in a simulation pocket, slowing the enemy's movement to crawl speed — just enough for Brian to land a punch.

But it wasn't just a punch.

> It was Infinity.

Time stopped.

Brian's eyes flashed gold and black.

He whispered something no one heard.

And the monster erased itself from existence.

---

Everyone stood in silence.

Not victory. Not celebration.

Confusion.

Brian stood there. Eyes distant. Quiet.

Kendall watched from above. She didn't smile.

She saw everything.

---

⏳ Scene 5 – TIMESKIP: Six Months Later

U.H.A. Academy was no longer just a training school.

It was a fortress.

Cities were falling. Monsters were appearing more frequently. Cam's influence spread across continents.

Some heroes disappeared.

Others turned against their own governments.

Brian and his group?

Now full-time defenders. Legends among the young classes. Untouchable by most.

But inside their base — far from the spotlight — Brian stood alone in a chamber.

Infinity floated behind him like a dark twin.

> "We need to talk again soon," it said.

He nodded.

His eyes glowed black for a moment.

Then returned to normal.

🌌 END OF CHAPTER 10

> Everyone's rising.

The world is breaking.

Brian is splitting.

Cam is laughing.

And something even worse is waking up.
