When I got home from school I saw my dad in the kitchen making lunch.
"Hey baby girl" He said while kissing my cheeks.
"How was school today?" He asked.
"It was okay" I replied.
"Hmm dad" I said.
"Yes baby" he replied
"You didn't come home last night and you have been acting off and kind of distance lately".
I said looking at the floor.
"Is everything okay with you" I asked while still avoiding his gaze.
"Of course limah" he replied while raising up my chin with his finger,to make me look at him.
"Everything is ok, is just that I have been quite busy with stuff" he added.
Stuff I thought to myself what kind of stuff I wanted to ask.
But I decided not to push the issue further.
"Ok dad" I replied smiling slightly.
"I'm here for you okay", my dad said while hugging me tightly.
"I love you baby girl" he said with a sigh.
"I love you too Dad".
"Go freshing up"
"You stink" he added while chuckling slightly
"Ughhh seriously dad" I groaned.
"You just spoilt our little moment" I replied smiling while going upstairs to my room.
"I would be going out"
"I have something important to do" my dad shouted from downstairs.
"Your lunch is on the table" my dad added
"Alright" I whispered
I heard the door slam loudly.
"Off he goes again" I sighed softly
I fell on my bed with a thud sound echoing through the room.
"You must really be exhausted", I heard someone say.
I turned around and saw Xavier sitting down on my chair close to the window.
He must really like that chair I thought to myself
"Oh my gosh you scared me"
"Don't creep on me like that next time"
"You are already creepy enough" I said while mumbling the last part.
"Sorry" Xavier replied.
I cleared my throat slightly.
"So what are you doing here" I asked
Xavier gave me that look, which reads
are you seriously asking me that.
"The last time I checked I live here" Xavier replied while looking at me weirdly.
This guy is really creepy and grumpy I thought to myself.
I was debating with my inner self if I should ask him while he ran off yesterday.
"Is something wrong" I heard Xavier asked
"You are turning pale" he added while looking at me with those green eyes.
"Hmm nothing I was just kinda of confused about why you ran off yesterday after I was able to feel your touch"
I asked while trying as much as possible to avoid his gaze cause those green eyes were really getting to me.
"I was surprised" Xavier said.
"I didn't know how to react, that's why i left"
"I felt your touch limah" Xavier whispered while looking at me with expressions i couldn't quit comprehend.
Oh the conversation was getting really serious now, and the way he was looking at me wasn't helping matters.
"Hmm okay I think I should freshing up" I told Xavier while waiting for him to leave.
"The bathroom is over there not here"
"So why are you staring at me" Xavier asked while looking at me blankly.
Ok this guy really got some nerve I thought to myself.
"Whatever mr grumpy" I said while heading to bathroom.
Not before grabbing my clothes from my wardrobe i'm definitely not changing in my room with that weirdo In there.
