Chapter 1 - CHAPTER 1

First Entry into the Naruto World

Konoha Year 37. The Second Shinobi World War had finally come to an end. The atmosphere in the village was one of cautious celebration. Families reunited, shops reopened, and for many, life began to return to normal. Though countless lives had been lost, and pain lingered in many hearts, the collective sigh of relief was palpable.

But one person wasn't celebrating.

Shirō—our protagonist—stood amidst the jubilation, looking rather annoyed. Not because he was ungrateful or a battle junkie, but because he hadn't killed enough enemies… or rather, his system hadn't recovered enough energy.

Yes, Shirō was a transmigrator, and not just any transmigrator—a high-tier one, the proud, if exasperated, host of a busted Grand Servant System.

Two years ago, Shirō had been an ordinary college student, fresh out of school, living a peaceful life with loving parents. He hadn't been a victim of injustice or despair. He didn't die tragically or make a wish to some mysterious deity. Yet he was still whisked away, waking up as a five-year-old child in the war-torn world of Naruto.

Apparently, the Grand Servant System had been blasted out of the Type-Moon universe by some bigwig. Unable to stay, the half-fried system crash-landed in the Naruto world—dragging Shirō along for the ride.

The original Grand Servant System could supposedly summon Heroic Spirits and grant their abilities. But now? The only thing it could do was Strengthening, and even that wasn't fully restored. It came with a partially functional Servant Card—Emiya Shirou. Yep. That Shirou. Unlimited Blade Works Shirou.

...except without Unlimited Blade Works.

Still, things weren't all bad. Shirō had inherited Reinforcement Magic and Projection Magic. While the Reality Marble was sealed (he reasoned it was akin to a Mangekyō Sharingan—too unique to replicate), just having those two magecrafts gave him an edge. Without them, he would've died on the battlefield, given his original talent was only slightly above average.

In this timeline, he had been forced to graduate early and sent to the frontlines. Without the system, he would've at best become a Chūnin. Maybe Special Jōnin if fate smiled. With the war over and the system at 19% repaired, Shirō was hoping for better days ahead.

"Ugh, life is hard... but at least I'm still alive," Shirō muttered, staring into the cloudy Konoha sky.

"Tough, huh? What's with the long face?" called his captain, Yamada Nakamura, smirking. "If you've got complaints, share them! We could use a laugh!"

"Yeah, spill it, Shirō!" added Chong Jie, snickering.

Shirō gave them a long, deadpan stare. "Qing Yu... you used to be so kind and soft. Ever since you started dating Chong Jie, you've become corrupted. I knew it—he's a bad influence!"

"Haha! You're just jealous!" Chong Jie teased.

"Disbanding for now," Captain Yamada waved, grinning. "Meet at the training field tomorrow. I'm off to see my wife—Shirō, take your time walking home!"

Shirō watched them leave, muttering, "One day, I'm going to burn you all to ash."

His team resembled the future Team 7: two boys and a girl, except this time, the girl and one of the boys were actually dating. Shirō, sadly, was in the "lonely loser" slot—Naruto's role, but even more pathetic. His team leader was only a Chūnin, and all three Genin were civilian-born with no special lineage.

Eventually, Shirō arrived home.

"I'm back."

"Shirō, are you hurt?" his mother, Keiko, rushed over.

"Hmph. Why would he be hurt? He was on logistics duty," his father grunted. "If you keep coddling him, he'll never grow up."

"You were just worrying about him five minutes ago! Now you're playing tough?"

Shirō smiled awkwardly. "It's fine, Mom. Dad's right. I'm home safe, aren't I?"

"Hmph. Don't stand there—come to the study. Keiko, go make dinner. I need to speak with Shirō."

Shirō didn't feel estranged from them. After merging with the body's memories, these people really did feel like his parents. Still, his dad's name shocked him.

Emiya Qieshi.

That's right—Emiya.

When he transmigrated, he was sure it was a coincidence. But every day that passed, he grew less convinced.

"Sit," his father ordered.

Once seated, Qieshi's face grew serious. "You've seen the battlefield now. You understand what it means to be a ninja. Do you still intend to follow this path?"

Shirō nodded with resolve. "Yes. I want to become strong. I want to protect my family, my friends. And... I've found a way to become stronger."

Qieshi was silent for a moment. Then he stood. "Wait here."

Shirō blinked. Wait... is my dad secretly a Senju? Am I a hidden Uchiha? Do I have Rinnegan potential?! His mind raced with dramatic reveals.

His father returned with a sealed scroll.

"Quit daydreaming. This is serious."

"Yes, Father!" Shirō sat up straight.

"Our Emiya clan was once a small but proud ninja family. We had our own Secret Technique. But generations of weak successors led to its decline. Only this scroll remains. I don't know what's inside. You're the first ninja of our line in decades. I won't ask you to restore our name. I just want one thing: survive."

"I promise!" Shirō answered firmly.

"Good. Now go eat."

Later that night, Shirō unsealed the scroll with anticipation.

"Bang!"

Out of the smoke appeared a splintered, ancient-looking wooden fragment.

"What the hell is this?"

> Ding! Large amounts of chakra detected. Absorb?

"Wait… wood? Enormous chakra? Don't tell me this is a piece of the Gedō Mazō...?!"

Still reeling, Shirō gave the order: "System, absorb!"

> Ding! Absorption complete. System repair now at 25%. Strengthening function unlocked.

"About time. System, display my attributes!"

---

Name: Emiya Shirō

Strength: D

Durability: D+

Chakra (Magic Power): D-

Agility: D+

Luck: C (Cannot be enhanced)

(Note: Values represent adult potential. They don't affect current strength but improve future growth rate. Strengthening consumes repair progress.)

---

"Let's try boosting Magic Power. Strengthen!"

> Success. Repair rate now at 24%.

"Again! Magic Power to D++!"

> Success. Repair rate now 22%.

"That's enough for now. If I burn through everything, the system might shut down again."

Satisfied, Shirō practiced Reinforcement Magic for a bit before going to sleep.

---

The Next Morning

"Mom, I'm heading out!"

"Be careful!"

At the training ground, Shirō was the first to arrive. Shortly after, Chong Jie and Qing Yu showed up—hand in hand, of course.

Shirō wrinkled his nose. Ugh. This sour stench of romance... If only I had a Noble Phantasm that set couples on fire...

Once everyone was assembled, Captain Yamada gave instructions. "Practice freely. Ask me if you're stuck. Begin!"

Qing Yu and Chong Jie went off to work on water walking. Due to the war, Shirō and his team had been rushed through graduation, skipping much of the normal curriculum.

Thanks to his Reinforcement Magic and personal effort, Shirō had already completed both tree walking and water walking on his own. In fact, he had even submitted Reinforcement Magic as an original jutsu to gain credibility and prevent future suspicion about his Projection Magic.

He walked to the side, formed a seal, and activated his magecraft.

"Strengthen. Begin."

Through dedicated use of Projection and Reinforcement Magic, Shirō had reached the Chūnin level in technique. Physically, however, he was still only seven, with chakra reserves far below average.

Still, he was making progress.

And today, during their lunch break, Chong Jie turned to Shirō with a question that had been on everyone's mind…
