Chapter 1 - Nelphindie Queen of Oblivion

Chapter 1: The Crimson Prophecy

As a youth Nelphindie could travel freely anywhere in Oblivion within a blink of the eye. Her parents King Desmond and Queen Sophiya knew she was special with these powers. That she would free Oblivion from the Seven Deadly Sins. The sins came to Oblivion from the negative outer planes such as The Abyss, Hades and Pandemonium.

Nelphindie trained every day for ten Zenos the time frame in Oblivion. Each day is about 18 Zenos long and time goes much slower in Oblivion. Its always gloomy and dark in Oblivion with very little signs of life. The only other Kingdom that still stands in the descendants of the ancient orcs in the south.

Oblivion was known as the forgotten plane as it was mere myth now. They had time to prepare for the war that would tell the future of Oblivion. The sins however where upon them and they were gathering an army of demons and beasts. Nelphindie would either be the one to fulfill the Crimson Prophecy and seal away the sins. Or she would die and let Oblivion fall to the sins which would consume its lands in darkness.

Oblivion consisted of five kingdoms. Three where overrun by the sins. Those where the gargoyles in the west, the harpies in the east and the yeti in the north. Only the Cities of the Nightshades and the Ancient Orcs remained. The Nightshades were protected by the Goddess of Oblivion. She had a shield around Altros the Nightshades City that kept out the sins.

The reason the sins wanted Altros was because there was a portal to the Beast lands in the city. The sins had an army ready, but it was a weak army. They needed to recruit the orcs and beasts from the Beast lands. To take on the other positive planes and possibly take them over as well. The sins only wanted to plunge everything in existence into total darkness.

Nelphindie wanted revenge on her grandmother as well. She died fighting the sins because she was tricked by Nelphindie's older brothers. The two brothers betrayed the nightshades and asked the sins for power. They received that power and where now searching for something in The Abyss. They were looking for a device that would summon all the demons of The Abyss. In Nelphindie's hands she could use this to fight the sins. However, in the sins hands this could mean the end of Oblivion.

Shinro and Dimitri where the names of Nelphindie's brothers. They would have to be stopped as soon as possible. However, Nelphindie would need to recruit allies if she wanted to travel in The Abyss. She went to the temple of the goddess to seek wisdom and advice from them.

The goddess of time Zenitharia or better known as the Lost Soul of Oblivion. For her soul was stolen by the sins along with most of her powers. The power to phase to any plane as she wished remained. Along with the shield to ward off the sins. Luckily the sins could not wield her other powers yet. Nelphindie was to inherit the power to phase to any plane soon enough.

The goddess told Nelphindie to travel to the angelic plane of Elysium with this power. There she would recruit an army and a champion that would help liberate Oblivion from the sins. Nelphindie didn't know that the goddess was dying and when she did leave for Elysium. Altros would be vulnerable and wide open for the sins to take.

The two sins that where at the doorsteps of Altros where Greed and Lust. They where using a ritual to phase into the king's throne room. The goddess was barely keeping up the barrier to Altros as she was growing weak. Soon she would fade to the Nether Realm. Wish is hell on Oblivion since Nightshades could not go to Hades. The goddess was half angel and half nightshade. What she didn't know is she would be reincarnated by Nelphindie.

The goddess Zenitharia had one final wish to give to Nelphindie. She prayed to the old gods of Oblivion. She wished to give Nelphindie the power to control time which was forsaken. When a god or goddess is dying, they are allowed to transfer their powers for short periods of time. The wish was recognized by the gods however it would only activate if Nelphindie was near death.

Nelphindie planned on traveling to Elysium to recruit an army of angels. Which would be near impossible to do except that the angels wanted one thing. To see the sins exiled for all eternity. The first step in her journey was to get a plant named Lothelang, the rarest plant in Oblivion. Problem was the field known to have it was guarded by Gluttony. Who was chosen to guard this field to harvest the Grey Unicorns. This made Gluttony immortal but not invincible.

The sins found out from Nelphindie's brothers that the nightshades had the Sword of Respite. An ancient weapon used to fight the sins. It was reforged for Nelphindie as a dagger to seal away the sins in combat. This sword was passed down from General Swindelak to the strongest warrior among the Nightshades. The sword would seal away gluttony. So that Nelphindie could gather Lothelang and prepare to phase from Oblivion to Elysium.

Envy knew Nelphindie was coming to the fields he just didn't know when because the goddess blocked his foresight. Nelphindie had to meet with General Swindelak in the cave south of the kingdom. She could not phase there because he blocked it. As a countermeasure to not be captured by the sins. Nelphindie made her way to the cave luckily the sins didn't notice, and she was not attacked on the way there.

The cave was protected by bats but fortunately they used their ultrasonic vision to notice it was just Nelphindie. So, they didn't attack instead they shrieked in harmony for the victory soon to come. She approached the general who happened to be half ancient orc half nightshade. She needed a ritual to be done for her dagger to become active so she could use the sealing power it possessed.

The ritual meant that the general would have to sacrifice his own life. The ritual was in ancient nightshade which was like ancient orcish. Since they use to be allies back in a fight against Hades invading Oblivion. The ritual translated to the way is shut. Only if the ultimate sacrifice is made. Will you find true unity with each other.

Nelphindie decrypted this and saw that even mortal enemies could help each other and get along. Only if someone could liberate all the planes in existence. So she replied in ancient orcish U Lfeww or I agree. The dagger appeared in front of her wish a radiance that even she could not fathom. Then it turned green and Nelphindie vanished with the dagger.

The general smiled in pain and agony then stabbed himself with the ritual dagger. To complete the ultimate sacrifice that he knows would save Oblivion. There was a secret he would take to his grave. If two of the three royal bloods sacrificed themselves. Which means if Nelphindie, or her brothers killed themselves with a ritual dagger. Then Oblivion would be doomed, and the sins would have won. For it was Nelphindie's destiny to win back her brothers in the end.

Nelphindie teleported back to Altros where she would meet up with Kismetia. Whom was Nelphindie's childhood friend and trainer in combat. She showed Kismetia the dagger, little did she know Kismetia would betray the nightshades. The Queen Sophiya her mother knew about this and phased to her side. Sophiya stabbed Kismetia and she explained to Nelphindie. That she let Greed in through the barrier to attack King Desmond. The King was already dead and if Nelphindie didn't kill Greed he would let Lust and her army into Altros.

Nelphindie phased from Queen Sophiya's side to the throne room. Where King Desmond was laying dead with his crown in Greed's hands. Greed was about to teleport back to Lust, but Nelphindie intercepted him. It was an easy battle for Nelphindie as she now had the Dagger of Respite. She plunged the dagger into Greed's gut while he attempted to teleport out. Greed was consumed by the nether. Nelphindie chanted you and the other sins will not prevail. He vanished and was now stuck in the nether realm.

Queen Sophiya ran to Nelphindie and she started crying when she saw Desmond. Nelphindie picked up his crown and saw the royal jewel that Greed was after. It was a pure energy Ruby which had the power to enhance weapons of war. She took out the Ruby and it imbedded into her dagger. Nelphindie smiled and said one word. Limbodima which meant Vengeance.

Chapter 2: The Sacrifices We Make

As Nelphindie said her goodbyes to the distressed Queen her mother hugged her. She said if your journey is successful, we will know. The goddess will return, and the sins will no longer trouble the lands. Nelphindie replied with I never experienced so much sorrow. Dad did teach me one thing though. To be relentless and never give up on what is right. We are the only demons that care for this realm and the positive realms. However, will Elysium really listen to my call. The queen nodded and told Nelphindie to believe. She then blinked and teleported near the fields where the flower Lothelang was located.

Unaware Envy could not see Nelphindie teleport. There was always a huge delay on seeing where Nelphindie went in Oblivion. Nelphinie used her signature move swift dance and started to move onto Glottony's position. As she dashed towards Gluttony over one hundred demons appeared as a trap. Gluttony waited as he tried to summon Lust and Envy. Lust was the ultimate Necromancer and had an endless army of the undead.

The demons started to surround Nelphindie. Her record for killing one demon was about two yelks (about 5 seconds). However, with the new dagger and her skill swift dance she could kill all the demons easily with plenty of time to spare. She also knew that she would be injured after using it. That was the tradeoff for using swift dance for an extended time.

The demon commanders led their peons and she knew this would be difficult. She knew the undead summoned by Remoso which means regret would strike first. So Nelphindie used her fathers Ruby to stop time temporarily around Remoso and freeze him in place. Swiftly she cut his head clean off and the minions withered away.

Next was the harpies that where corrupted from their kingdom in the east. She knew their weakness was once dark magic but now it was light magic. Most nightshades couldn't use light magic. However, the goddess learned one from the angels in Elysium and taught it to Nelphindie. Her hands would be wounded if she used the spell. She knew it would be necessary to do so or face defeat. The harpies where not only swift themselves but they had counters to stop swift dance.

With one chant Simoria Lendoras she wiped out the harpies with a flash of light the size of a small dwarf star. This would also stun the demons in the vicinity for a few yelks (minutes in human time). Nelphindie took out a few more demons. One commander she wasn't expecting was Lingrosa. Who was wearing a special set of armor making them immune to most magic spells. Lingrosa rushed Nelphindie and tried to take her out. Nelphindie could barely keep up swift dance at this point.

Nelphindie teleported away from Lingrosa and stopped swift dance. She knew Lingrosa was only there to distract her while Glottony summoned the other sins. Nelphindie teleported far enough where she could rest momentarily and think. She knew there was a trick to defeating this commander. Nelphindie calmed her mind to the point where she could focus on just Lingrosa and nothing else.

Nelphindie learned this technique from Eromik a mystic. Which if she focused on one thing. She could go into a trance that can vanquish most foes other then sins or gods. Se remained silent for two yelks and after her mind was focused on Lingrosa's soul power. She opened her eyes, and he exploded and wiped out every remaining demon with him. She could no longer use swift dance and was slowed down temporarily.

Nelphindie had one other surprise left for Gluttony. Her dragon Quinton which she could summon at any time. He was a gravity dragon and was known as the triumphant for he helped Nelphindie in many battles. There was a gravity abnormality behind Gluttony that they could take advantage of. She summoned Quinton and got ready for the attack on Gluttony. They flew upwards behind the gravity well and Nelphindie used a spell to enhance her dagger. She knew this attack might break the dagger and it would have to be repaired.

Her hands hurt so much but she has the will in her to keep the dagger steady. Quinton her dragon made its decent and Gluttony turned around ready to kill both the dragon and maim Nelphindie in one punch. Quinton knew very well what he needed to do and swallowed the gravity abnormality. He would use this to use gravity breath on Gluttony and trap him. This would also end his life for it would backfire on him, but it would give Nelphindie the opening she needed.

Nelphindie used the enhancement that she casted on her dagger. Enlarging it and creating a contained yet dangerous spell on it. A mini antimatter blackhole that would not only cut Gluttony in half but also seal him in the nether realm. He would be stuck there in two pieces for all eternity unable to regenerate. This was the prison of Oblivion for a reason. Time stood still there indefinitely.

Gluttony exploded and all the souls he consumed where released and sent to Elysium their final resting spot. This is when Nelphindie knew Elysium would listen if se killed a sin completely. She dropped from the sky along with Quintons mutilated body. The dragon had been loyal not only to her but to the King and Queen for the longest time. Nelphinie yelled in ancient orcish, the sins will not succeed in this life or the afterlife.

She went to the middle of the field where she knew the biggest flower would be. The one that will let her phase to Elysium freely if she embeds it into her dagger. Gluttony had already opened a portal for Lust and Envy after his death. Envy would be at the field any moment. The dagger was faster though, and she vanished right when Envy got to the fields on her way to Elysium.

Her main goals where to find allies in Elysium and to stop her brothers from finding the device in The Abyss. Nelphinie would also make a stop at the Beast Lands to see if the rumors where true. That where was a sisterhood of the best assassins from every plane combined. She would try to recruit this sisterhood even if it meant fighting them.

Nelphindie would use this dagger to not only liberate Oblivion. To also bring her brothers back to the Nightshades side. The leaders on Nelphindie's side would soon be chosen. As her greatest allies and friends. She would soon meet the love of her life and the sisterhood.

Chapter 3: Elysium and The Marriage

Nelphindie stood at Elysium's gate for some time. Then finally an angel with black feathers and cold blue eyes appeared. Nelphindie half expected to be smited from existence where she stood. This was one of Elysium's head guard's angels Midaluk. Who summoned one of the commanders Raphelio and was given an order to kill Nelphindie. His speed would match that of Nelphindie's swift dance in combat. If an outsider stood at the gates most likely they would be executed or banished.

Nelphindie said I have banished two sins already to the nether realm in Oblivion. Is this not proof enough to let me through the gates. Raphelio heard of a demon who would banish sins and fulfill a prophecy known as the Crimson Prophecy. They needed to be sure that she was not an imposter playing as one of the sins in her place.

Raphelio took up his blade that was black as night yet light as day. It shined a deep blackish blue which Nelphindie once saw in a vision. King Desmond gave something she could use against angels. A forbidden art that could pacify even an angel. Nightshades where warriors that if trained correctly could overcome any fight, any battle, any war.

Raphelio flew at a speed that Nelphindie could not comprehend. She would need to find a pattern of some sort in his flight, or she might die in vain. She didn't know Raphelio was only testing Nelphindie and knew she was too valuable to kill. Her dagger was useless in this fight more than likely it would only be used to block attacks. She would have to rely mostly on magic this time.

He flew around and threw crimson glowing knives at Nelphindie which exploded. Luckily, she could dodge these thanks to her swift dance. Raphelio finally grew bored of flying and with one swift spin and slice of his blade. He went right through her defenses and cut her horn off at its end. He nearly cut her head off with that one single strike. Her horn would mend over time, but she was afraid for the first time in a battle. This angel was stronger than her and this is after taking out Greed and Gluttony single handedly.

Her fear soon turned into the will to survive. As Raphelio's attacks continued to ensue. Then as an opening appeared in his flight patterns. Nelphindie attempted the spell that Desmond taught her. She chanted Singario Nertia. Which means Eternal Calm in Ancient Nightshade language.

Raphelio stopped flying and infact stood still in time almost. He stared at Nelphindie shocked with eyes wide open. Amazed by her ability and what she just accomplished. Using a gravity spell Nelphindie lured Raphelio to her from the sky. They both met eye to eye and she knew it was over. Her red glowing eyes and his blue piercing eyes met. Nelphindie said "If I let you go will you talk peacefully with me? I sealed away two sins and am only looking for help to end this war. To bring balance to the Planes and bring order to my realm. Or did you forget where I came from. OBLIVION you fool. You must remember at one point in time. Out gods of old where the allies of Elysium."

Raphelio blinked and shed a tear he was sorry that he attacked Nelphindie. She let him go and stood over him with a smile on her face. Nelphindie said "Will you hear me out and come to the aid of the Nightshades?" Raphelio said "that's not needed. It was just a test to see if you where the chosen one. To fulfill the Crimson Prophecy. You may enter Elysium where an army already awaits you."

Nelphindie entered Elysium and was half blinded by the beauty of the angels and their weapons. They shined with a brilliance that she had never experienced in her life. After all she only knew the darkness and cold of Oblivion. Raphelio invited Nelphindie to his quarters to show his appreciation for what she was trying to accomplish.

Raphelio said as they entered his temple "Did you ever have a dream that your goddess would die one day?" Nelphindie replied "Zenitharia? Yes, she is near death and still don't know how to get her powers back fully. You do know how I got here by the way? I saw in my mind a feint image of you in my mind Raphelio. Then I appeared at the gates of Elysium. Why is it you appeared then and in past dreams of mine? I knew you where familiar I just didn't know it was you."

Raphelio said "this was all meant to be a dream. You where destined to dream about me. So that you would eventually find me. Why do you think you are the one that fulfills the Crimson Prophecy? It's our… Marriage and child." Nelphindie gasped she knew what he meant by this.

The goddess would be reincarnated inside of Nelphindie as her first-born child. That child would pass down two things to the mother. One the ability to phase freely anywhere in any plane. She could very well go to Hade's throne room in a blink of an eye if she wished. The second was the collective knowledge of the gods of old in oblivion. This would be useful in the fights against the rest of the sins in the war soon to come.

Raphelio explained "Now Nelphindie my dear we have one week to plan this out. We have to find our Generals for the army. I heard of assassins in the Beast Lands. A sisterhood of noble elite assassins. Their leader owes me a great favor. She was the ex-second in command of the army in Elysium Leifeya. If we recruit her and the sisterhood of assassins. Then out army would be complete."

Nelphindie replied and said "Why don't we get married tomorrow? Then start out to the Beast Lands the next day. We need not waste time on celebrations. As for preparations I have taken every precaution needed to accomplish this mission. You're not the only one that knows someone in the sisterhood. I know Serahfina the Ranger. She is half elf and half nightshade. She will give us access to their keep. If not, then we will explain to her why we are there.

Raphelio said in delight "Did you know it's Valentine's Day here in Elysium today my love?" In short Nelphindie and Raphelio convieved a child. The reincarnation of the goddess Zenitharia herself. The goddess would die the day of her birth. The next day Nelphindie woke up with Raphelio looking down on her. They kissed and Raphelio said "I have the most beautiful dress picked out for you for our wedding." She saw it, the dress was blue the same blue of Raphelio's eyes. Just as radiant as his sword was as well.

After Nelphindie and Raphelio's wedding passed. The leader of the angels Michelas came up to Nelphinidie. He gave her Leifeya's old sowrd from when she was a commander. He said give this to her it may remind her that her allegiance belongs with Elysium.

In the end even enemies can become lovers if fated. The stars where aligned but not in the favor of the sins. In the end they would shine down on soon to be Queen Nelphindie and King Raphelio of Oblivion.
