A Remote Road, Far From the City
A black luxury car speeds down an empty highway, cutting through the golden glow of sunset.
In the back seat, Bella rests her head against the window, a faint smile on her lips. One hand over her small but growing bump. The child. The future.
Father Vincent is at the wheel, composed and unreadable. A man who has done terrible things in the name of love.
Elijah sits beside Bella, holding her hand gently. The priest who gave up heaven for a devil in silk.
They don't speak much. There's no need.
They're not running.
