Chapter 1579 - gg

Honestly, if It wasn't for my creator, I would have just left you to fall to your death." A lie, but I'm not going to tell him that. "So you better listen up! I'm only going to say this once!" He was all ears now. Good. Maybe he'd actually remember this.

"Since the Powerpuff Girls have left town, Mojo's been wanting to celebrate. You have the honor of receiving an invitation!" I grabbed the one of the invites in my hand and shoved it into his pockets. Ignoring his confusion and fear, I continued. "Come over or not. I don't really care… but let's make one thing clear: Fuzzy Lumpkins."

I glared right into his quivering eyes.

"DON'T ever charge at me like that again? Okay? Miss Bellum was over there because I didn't have anywhere else to put her and didn't know you lived here. So I'll let you off lightly…" I frowned as that tidbit reminded me of an important detail that slipped my mind.

"How did you get out of prison anyway? I planned on stopping over there a bit ago to give you this invitation before all of this happened."

"Some boys, them Rowdyruff boys, busted me out." My eyes widened in shock. What!? Why did they… I shook my head. I could just ask them when I meet them later. "Y'all related to 'em or what?"

"There my brothers. Thanks for your time, you're free to go now." My hands released him. My business with him was concluded. After seeing him run back to his cabin, I turned my attention back to the direction Miss Bellum had run off too.

Teaching Fuzzy the pecking order took ten minutes of my free time, but she shouldn't have gotten far.

"Ouch!" She involuntarily cursed as she stepped on another damn acorn. Still, Miss Bellum knew better than to slow down.

Blast might be surprised for a few moments, but she highly doubted that brute Fuzzy would be able to stop him.

After all, he was undoubtedly created from Chemical X like the girls were.

Life as the mayor's secretary was never easy.

Besides the paperwork, the city she worked at was under constant threat from giant monsters or supervillains. And even without those inhuman threats, the regular criminals made life in Townsville rough as well.

The Mayor didn't help matters. Struggling to even do the basic aspects of his job, but she had long become used to his… eccentricity. Even grown fond of it really. A strange form of stockholm syndrome likely.

Though he was the lesser of two evils frankly. There weren't many people who wanted his job, and the few that did were of the unsavory type.

The Powerpuff Girls were an honest to god blessing to Townsville… and from what she had picked up on the Radio Blast lent her to keep herself occupied, they were missing.

'He probably had something to do with that… or at least his brothers did.' The young man was quite intelligent for his age, but he could make mistakes. She had thought that maybe Fuzzy showing up at his cabin was some kind of cruel prank. Blast's genuine shock dissuaded her of that notion.

Especially since Fuzzy''s unexpected return home had rattled him enough that he had fed her precious information that she did not know beforehand.

The time she had spent forced inside Fuzzy's cabin had not been the most comfortable time. She'd give the boy some credit for trying to keep her comfortable and secure, but she was never one for the outdoors.

And honestly, she'd rather die than use Fuzzy's outhouse again.

She had no idea what the creature ate, but whatever it was enough to make her gag.

Even after Blast cleaned it out as best as he could.

What was frustrating to her was that she couldn't exactly pinpoint a motive for his actions. She remembered being terrified that he was planning something nefarious. Like holding her ransom or forcing her to do a pole dance on a strip pole.

She had seen the way Blast had looked at her.

He wasn't as precocious as boys his age should be.

Instead, he locked her up in Fuzzy's cabin and basically made her a prisoner. Most of Townsville's villains like Mojo, his apparent creator, would have tormented her in some way or form, but he didn't do anything like that.

Besides forcing her against her will to stay in Fuzzy's cabin, he treated her more like she was a house guest than a hostage.

In fact, it still shocked her that he showed concern for her wellbeing when he found out Fuzzy had made an early return home.

There was something off about him, and she couldn't figure it out.

Eventually though, her thoughts were interrupted when she felt something grab her and lift her by her legs. Holding her upside down in the air. Much to her discomfort and dread.

Did Blast already catch up to her?

"Lookie her boys, we caught ourselves a girlie running out in the woods!" A young boy's voice called out. A smug tone to his voice that didn't quite match Blasts. The brown haired boy's voice was more calm, while this one sounded more loud and aggressive.

Two sinister laughs followed before Bellum found herself tossed to the ground roughly. Sara Bellum gasped in shock once she finally got a good look at her assailants. Three boys stood in front of her. The one in the left wore a blue stripe shirt, the one in the right wore a green striped shirt, and the one in the center wore a red striped shirt

"You think she'll cry better than those sissies Brick?" The blue one asked the red one with an expectant look.

"Not as much as you did when Blast headlocked ya, Boomer!" The green one laughed, causing the blue one, or rather Boomer to scowl.

"You shut your dumb mouth Butch!"

"Would you two idiots shut up! I can't hear myself think with you two arguing like a bunch of babies!" Brick shouted, causing the other two to reluctantly quiet down. It didn't take Bellum long to realize that these three must be the brothers Blast was talking about. The three of them looked eerily like the Powerpuff Girls, except with their genders swapped.

And with an evil look in their eye that she had never seen any of the girls displayed in all the time she had known them.

"Anyway, today is not your lucky day babe!" Brick sneered at her before grabbing her by her hair and lifting her up. Bellum held back a yelp at the rather painful sensation. Something which caused Brick to chuckle. "You're a tough sissie aren't you? Like those powerdweebs… or maybe your stupid hair is hiding your crybaby tears. Hey boys, why don't we give this lady a free haircut? "

Sara Belllum grimaced as she braced herself for the worst only for another familiar voice to intervene.

"I'd rather you guys not. It's going to be really hard to get any use out of her if no one recognizes her." Blast's said, his form looming over them before slowly descending down to meet his brothers. The tone in his voice was cold as ice, as he looked at his brothers stoically.

His eyes not revealing an ounce of emotion.

Bellum wasn't sure what to make of this. The young boy was not exactly loud and exuberant like children his age usually were, but this iciness was quite… surprising to see.

And disturbing.

She remembered talking with him. He was reserved, and rather aloof, but she didn't expect her warden to be so guarded with his own siblings.

"Hey Blast! How've you been?" Boomer shouted, seemingly oblivious to the tension in the air.

"Good." Blast replied coolly, his eyes not straying from Brick's for even a moment. Though Bellum noticed a small smile at the blonde's enthusiasm at seeing him. Brick, the leader, didn't seem to happy to see him however, and Bellum noticed how Butch's maniacal smile looked strained as he kept looking between the redhead and brunette.

"And where have you been?" Brick demanded.

"Busy." He replied, which only seemed to irritate the red headed more.

"With what?"

"Doing some chores for Mojo."

"The hell? Why are you doing chores for Mojo!? You enjoy having that chimp bossing you around?"

"Nah. I wanted a training area, and he offered to build it if I did him some favors."

"And you did this all behind my back?"

Brick scowled at Blast, a tone of annoyance and… hurt in it.

Blast seemed to treat it with complete indifference… up until Brick got up into his face and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

"You're a Rowdyruff boy, not a damn sissy sidekick! If you follow anyone's orders, it should be mine." Brick spat out, a glob of saliva hit the side of Blast's face. Bellum felt the air turn cold from the tension as she noticed the brunette's reaction.

He didn't scream back. No. It was far worse than that. Blast didn't shake his fists or do anything like that.

Blast stared back at him with a gaze that made shivers go down Bellum's spine.

It almost looked… no, it was murderous.

And murderous is an emotion that doesn't belong on a child's face.

'Sara Bellum, if you make it out of here alive, you should really consider taking a month or two off. Or hell, maybe just use all our vacation days. A couple of years away from all this madness would be nice…" She had never once in all her long years in service to townsville thought about taking a day off. Mostly because she did not trust the Mayor to hold up for a day, but the idea of getting killed by a bunch of prepubescent supervillains while they were fighting was making her consider it.

Or at the very least chug a couple of beer cans.

She could really go for a drink right now.

"Ummm…" The blonde boy, Boomer, if she recalled correctly, interrupted the two while they were in the middle of their dick measuring contest. "Maybe we should bring the lady to Mojo and discuss it tomorrow. I'm feeling kinda tired."

Blast and Brick stared at Boomer. Looking at him like he was an alien. They then their eyes back at each other, before Brick scoffed and Blast rolled his eyes.

"Whatever."

"Sure."

Butch gave Boomer an impressed look.

"How the heck did an idiot like you do that?"

"I'm not an idiot, idiot!!"

…This was her life now.

Maybe she should have chosen a different career path after all. Like Quote ReplyReport Reactions:sicksock, EyesOnTheInside, Ruffleflufflebakedpotato and 559 others

Chapter 3: Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice.

My morning started off as it usually does.

Staring into the bathroom mirror and contemplating my life choices. While committing genocide on any plaque that dared to colonize my mouth with my sacred toothbrush. I was pretty sure plaque was white, so it was fine. No one cares what happens to white colored bacteria folk anyway.

My edgy sense of humor aside, I had a very good reason to be religious with my hygiene.

In my previous life, I had to deal with a lot of tooth pain because of my lax brushing. My parents didn't care much about being on my ass about it, so when my teeth inevitable started to decay, they had to get a lot of dental work done. My dentist was a nice guy, but holy shit the drilling will haunt my nightmares for the rest of my life!

I'm going to try my hardest to avoid getting any cavities this time!

While Mojo did have a machine that cleans and brushes you, I didn't want to automate such an important duty.

If you want to commit genocide right, you need to do it right!

By hand!

…Though I had to admit that looking at my new body was still weird. Even after I had more than a week to adjust to it. My hair was still brown, but the purple shade of my eyes would always remind me that I'm not in my old body.

'I hadn't thought about it much, but I'm quite glad that I look like a regular human boy. And not some sort of bug eyed freak. The cartoon's art-style was cute, but I don't think it'd be pretty to see in real life.'

When we brought the Secretary to Mojo, to say he was taken back was an understatement. Though it was mostly because of the state of dress she was in. I was glad that he had some spare clothes she could wear that he could fit here in.

Though he didn't tell us why he had women's clothing and frankly I had no interest in digging into the matter.

If the funky monkey wants to cross-dress in his spare time, all the power to him.

Just keep it far out of my sight!

Anyway, once he found out I captured her and left her at Fuzzy's cabin. I had gotten quite an earful from him. Not because of the kidnapping no. In fact, He seemed pleased that I was acting as a proper villain in that regard. Mostly because I told him a little white lie about wanting to use her to get the Mayor to write laws in our favor.

He wanted in on that. Something which my brothers found themselves agreeing with.

'Alright that's enough brushing.' I spat out the toothpaste into the bathroom sink, and quietly flew over the kitchen table trying my best not to pay attention to Sara Bellum's presence.

Not because she had done anything wrong, but because if I did acknowledge her right now, I would start feeling pissy about what happened yesterday.

I was still mad about that.

All of that bullshit I went through yesterday was because my idiot brothers got bored looking for me and tore apart Townsville's prison. Unwittingly putting all of my plans in jeopardy! Granted, Mojo had told them about his orders to free his buddies in the jailhouse, but my anger was already boiling by the time I had found Miss Bellum.

I was absolutely livid.

It took every ounce of my self control to not just throttle Brick when he had the audacity to touch me.

I hate being touched.

Still, I remembered HIM's warning. And told Mojo and my brothers about the Powerpuff Girls still being around when I returned home. Unfortunately my brothers didn't seem too concerned and I wasn't going to waste my breath trying to talk them out of their hubris.

A common fallibility with supervillains is that they have a tendency to overestimate themselves. Granted, the odds were stacked against the girls, but I knew they had a habit of overcoming the odds.

Even if it was mostly just plot armor kicking in.

Fortunately Mojo Jojo seemed to understand the danger we were in. as he growled in irritation at the information. He didn't say much, but I did catch some words about traps and lasers, so at least I knew my creator wasn't going to relax.

Frankly, I'm pretty sure that as long as we stick together, the Powerpuff girls wouldn't be able to do much. In the show, the major villains did team up once together. I think it was Fuzzy, Mojo, Him, and Princess? Anyway, the episode went very poorly for the girls until they were able to get my father to break apart from the group.

Note to self, keep an eye out for any honey traps focused on my Chimp daddy in the future. He can be annoying, but he's also the one keeping a roof over my head and building me my own personal supervillain gym.

'I can't wait until Mojo finally finishes that holoroom. It'll be nice to be able to train my powers without being out in the open. I'd also like to dabble into science and maybe magic, but that stuff is going to take some time to learn. Chemical X unfortunately didn't give me super intelligence.'

If I was as smart as Mojo was, my plans on skipping town would have gone through far sooner.

As I sat on a folded chair reading my comic book, I heard the telltale sound of Mojo's alarm clock. Though I didn't bother him with a good morning or anything like that. At this hour, he could be quite grumpy, and I was rather interested in reading this Batman comic.

A small blessing that while there was at least some familiar media to enjoy. If I remember correctly, there was a Zelda reference in one of the episodes. Maybe I should hit the game store later and see if I can find it?

I do have some money on me and…

Wait.

Why the hell am I considering paying for a game I can just take?

I'm a supervillain! A reluctant one, but still a supervillain! It's not like I'm obligated to be a paypig anymore! A smile came to my face as the idea of starting my own collection was becoming more and more appealing by the second. It's not like there was much to do around here right now anyway, and if I could get my brothers into it, they would probably spend last time hassling the citizens of townsville for their amusement.

Which would leave more free time for me to stay home!

A win-win for everyone!

My hands trembled with excitement for a split second before I put the comic down.

"I'm going out for a bit Pops." My tone seemed to catch Mojo's attention. Who raised an eyebrow at my unusually enthusiastic voice. Given how calm and mellow I normally was, this might be the first time I showed any enthusiasm.

"Okay…" He answered, looking for the right words. "The sun has just risen over the horizon. Which means it is morning. What could you possibly need this early in the morning Blast?"

"I want to get some video games." I replied bluntly, my enthusiasm making me not allow me to wait any longer. Before Mojo could speak further, I was already out the door and flying out of the park.

In my rush, I didn't even consider checking the area out or waking my brothers. For a second, I thought my eyes caught some weird colors off into the distance. Three distinct ones. Red, blue, and Green. Though the moment I blinked, they had vanished.

"My eyes are kinda watery right now. Must have just been seeing things." I grumbled to myself before pushing the strange sight to the back of my mind. My smile returned as my body flew over the buildings of townsville.

I had some entertainment to collect.

It wasn't hard to find video games. This was the early 2000s, so the only place you could reliably find video games at was game or toy stores. Which thankfully wasn't hard to do.

This one I was robbing was a gamestore called 'Playstart'. A copyright infringement friendly version of Gamestop no doubt.

"Take anything you want! Just please don't hurt me!" The cashier wailed, shaking from under the counter. Not that I blamed the pimply faced geek.

This poor bastard got the jumpscate of his life when I showed up busting through the damn ceiling.

'Maybe I should have chilled out and walked through the front door… nah.' To be honest, I didn't really think about it. Nor did I care that I didn't. My target was in sight, and I wasn't about to wait any second longer. The sooner I get this done, the better.

This was probably the first time I committed a crime without any regrets, second thoughts, or guilt.

Even kidnapping Miss Bellum was something I only did to ensure my survival. Not something I enjoyed. And while my brothers enjoyed random destruction and mayhem, I couldn't find much joy in it.

"Just relax, I'll be done in just a few minutes." After telling him that, my hands reached out and broke through the glass casing. It wasn't long before I started rummaging through the entire store for anything that caught my eye.

Tossing in games, controllers, and consoles for them into a large bag normally used for bank robberies. I did check to make sure that the cases had their games in them first. Last thing I wanted was to accidentally come home empty handed and have to come back later.

While looking around, I had found the Zelda look alike I wanted to try out. The boxart at least looked promising. There was also a couple of games with strange names. Like Goo Zombies. A more kiddie version of Call of Duty? Or Left for Dead?

"I'll guess I'll find out when I get home." My face went back to the cowering employee and the few customers that hadn't found the common sense to get the fuck out. Seriously, did the civilians in this world have a death wish?

Or were Townsville civies just stupid in particular?

Whatever.

I'm done here for now.

"You idiots are lucky my brothers aren't here with me. They'd beat you up just for looking at them funny." I scoffed, hauling the bag over my head. My arms had no problems carrying my stolen goods, but I felt a bit nervous when I felt them bouncing into each other.

I was going to have to be careful with this bag. It was meant for holding valuables like cash and jewelry. Not fragile electronics. As I contemplated how fast I could do without destroying my videogames, my ears picked up the sound of a distinct familiar voice.

"Little did this punk know that he was about due for a serious attitude adjustment."

"What the -Dog Bark- !?" My expression quickly changed to that of surprise at hearing the Narrator's voice for the first time. Also had to hold back a wince from the censored swear noise he put in there. It felt like a goddamn mutt just barked right into my ear!

My focus quickly returned to the more important matter.

Finding the Narrator.

This was the first time I had even heard the man who narrated over the show… was he around here? Skulking around in the shadows like some kind of creep! I put the bag down onto the ground. Ignoring the confused and scared bystanders as I looked around the store to see if I could find him.

I wonder if he could send me home… or at the very least narrate me out of this mess!

"What is he doing now?"

Unfortunately, he was pretty damn good at hiding.

"You know I'm looking for you !@#$hole! Show yourself!!" I growled as the bastard who somehow continued to hide from me. Didn't Mojo catch this dork twice? Why the hell couldn't I find him!?

My irritation only grew as I continued hearing that bastard narrator continue to poke fun at me.

"Man, oh man. What a nutcase!! He's looking around for a person that's not even here. This Blast might act calm and rational, but he's definitely got some screws loose… let's see if our girls can knock some sense into this paranoiac!"

My anger at the narrator froze solid as the last sentence fully hit me.

'The girls he just mentioned couldn't be anyone other then-' My blood froze in its tracks as the danger I was in fully hit me.

Oh no…. No! No, no, no, NOOO!

Now that I wasn't so focused on my boiling anger, my ears were picking up the distinct sounds. That sounded eerily similar to the noises me and my brothers made during flight.

I needed to get the fuck out of here quick!

I managed to grab the bag of games I had, but that was all the time I had before three little girls floated above the hole in the ceiling I made earlier.

"Stop right there, Blast!"

And from their expressions, I could tell they were pissed.

Which didn't surprise me given how they had gotten their asses kicked a few days ago.

My eyes went from side to side, examining each of the girls. It seems they too looked more human compared to what I remembered from the cartoon. Which didn't surprise me given me and my brothers weren't bug eyed freaks either.

Still they were recognizable. They wore dresses that matched colors with their eyes, and wore white colored stockings with black mary janes covering their feet.

Spoiler: BubblesTo the left was Bubbles. The blond blue eyed joy and laughter of the group. The nicest of their group like Boomer was the nicest of mine. If I remember correctly Bubbles is particularly vicious when she's mad.

So I'd best avoid pissing her off too much if I wanted to keep my teeth. Given the frown on her face, that's probably going to be difficult to do.

Spoiler: ButtercupTo the far right was Buttercup. The tough tomboy of the group with a battle lust that matched my fight happy Butch. Her green eyes glared down at me like I was pond scum and promised me that I wasn't getting out of here without a beating. And know that I've gotten a closer look at how her short black hair curls to the side, she kinda reminds me of a Bull.

Fitting. She was the most feral and malicious of the three.

Spoiler: BlossomAnd standing in the center facing slightly ahead was Blossom. The brains and leader of the group. A know-it-all like Brick. Her red bow was neatly tied to the back of her head. While the expression on her face was serious and stern, there was a certain edge to it that told me that she had some beef with me.

'Oh this is going to fucking suck!!!' My face hardened into a stoic frown even as I was inwardly screaming. Things have gotten out of my control, and I only had myself to blame for it. I should have waited for my brothers to wake up first.

While I was sure I had a chance at defeating one of them by myself, three was out of the fucking question!

Still, I needed to keep a strong face… and wait for an opening. Sure the girls were powerful and more experienced than me in using their powers, but Mojo's place wasn't too far from here. They were also still kids. And could make mistakes.

I could probably make it there if I just had one single opening and didn't choke.

I'll even give up on my ill gotten loot if It meant keeping my freedom!

"...How did you three find me?" I asked, stalling for time as I tried to think of a way to get these murder lolis off my ass.

"We waited for one of you to separate from the group." Blossom replied, crossing her arms.

"Is that right…? Surprised you didn't jump me sooner. I've been going off on my own from my brothers for a while now." I replied, trying my best to play it cool as I scratched the inside of my ear. I couldn't help but notice that while we were having this little conversation that the civilians were booking it.

"We didn't even know there was another one of you bullies until the Mayor told us about you!" Bubbles exclaimed, her arms clenched as she looked at me with no small amount of anger.

"The mayor? You mean old Short hat? Did he ask you to open his pickle jar first, or did he finally stop being a wimp and do it himself?" I snarked back as I continued to observe the civilians leaving the area. Even the employee was following them out.

I frankly wouldn't blame the guy if he quit his job after this disastrous day.

That being said, if all of them left now… then some more destructive options of escape would open up.

I just now have to wait for them to let their guard down…

It's heartwarming to know that these damn sheep were finally taking a fucking hint and leaving the splash zone. I was tempted to take one of them as a hostage, but I also didn't want to get them hurt.

"He's sad and crying because you took Miss Bellum away you meanie!" Bubbles snapped at me. Her anger spooked me for a second, but I quickly recovered. It's not too like I didn't know he wouldn't be devastated, but I hadn't expected Bubbles to snap at me for it.

Hopefully she's not at the breaking point where she's going to crash out on me.

…Maybe I could work their concern for Miss Bellum to my advantage?

"Well if you're looking for her, you should go over to her house. I did lock her up over there. " If I could get one of them to leave, my shots at escaping would be much higher.

Unfortunately it seems like Buttercup saw through my ploy.

"Nice try bub. We already looked there first before we started following you and your dumb brothers. You're not getting away from us that easily." Buttercup cracked her knuckles at me. Probably in an attempt to put the fear of God into me.

Too late for that.

I've been fearing him since I found myself reincarnated into this world with a villain strong enough to hurl the sun into the Earth with just a thought.

"We're going to give you this one last chance. Surrender and turn yourself in!" Blossom declared.

My eyes met hers. How ironic that I'm locked into a staring contest. With another red colored leader who thinks they can control me.

How annoying.

Albeit, I'll admit that she was more in the right then Brick was.

"Sure, why not?" I shrugged. Dropping the bag and holding my hands up like I was surrendering.

Which I wasn't, but the girls didn't need to know that.

Not until it was too late anyway.

"Alright, time for a butt-" Buttercup stopped mid-sentence to give me a look of pure disbelief.

"Wait… really? You're serious?" Blossom looked skeptical, but hopeful. I wonder how many times any of the enemies they dealt with actually gave up when they showed up. Probably not too many since most of the criminals were either too stupid or prideful to give up.

"Wow! That was easy! Normally the bad guys never surrender." Bubbles seemed to be the only one who took my surrender in good faith. That almost made me feel bad for what I was about to do next.

Almost.

"Are you kidding me!? All this build up just for this jerk to give up!?" Buttercup snarled, her fists still clenched. It was pretty funny to see the ravenette actually looked angrier over my surrender than my crimes. She probably just wanted to beat me up and was mad she was going to miss out on it.

"It's 3v1. Maybe you're dumb enough to fight 3 superhumans at once Butters, but I'm not." I deadpanned at her. Buttercup blinked in surprise at the shortened nickname I gave her before giving me a very heated glare. A tinge of pink on her cheeks.

"You really want to get beaten up don't you?" I didn't say anything, but my lips couldn't help turn into a small smirk when I heard her sisters giggle. Buttercup's blush deepened when she heard her sisters giggle and she turned her irritation at them. "What are you two laughing at!? Who's side are you on?"

Blossom and Bubbles gave a sheepish smile.

"Sorry, Buttercup." They both replied to her at the same time. While they were having their little sisterly bonding moment, I stepped forward, making sure that my bag was right behind me. Once their gaze was back on me, I gave a sad sigh.

"Can I have two last words before you haul me off to jail?"

"Sure, but you're going to tell us where you took Miss Bellum too right after, all right?" The red head replied, with her two sisters nodding along. I nodded back, playing the along while taking a deep breath.

"Umm… Blast, you don't have to hold your hands up anymore. We accepted your surrender." Bubbles replied. Seriously? She had no right to be that innocent and cute given the teeth shattering knuckle sandwiches she hands out criminals on a daily basis.

"I still say we beat him up a bit… just so we know he's learned his lesson." You're just a charmer aren't you Buttercup.

My hands tightened, the muscles in my arms tightened, and I slowly rotated my hands until they were in the perfect position.

"BLAST SMASH!!" My screaming shout was the only warning they got before I clapped as hard as I could. The eyes of the Powerpuff Girls widened as they were suddenly thrown back by the wide shockwave. Completely destroying the front of the building and knocking the three girls a couple of blocks away.

"Really glad I figured out I could do that…" I grunted as I felt the rather unpleasant feeling of my arms jolting from the sudden force they were subjected too. It stung like hell. That being said, it did the job of knocking the girls back away from me. And I grabbed my bag filled with utmost haste and took off into the sky.

The Powerpuff Girls wouldn't be dazed for long. The attack had managed to stun my brothers when I tested it on them, but it wasn't a surefire knock out. And I still needed a lot more practice with this technique. Not only was it hard to pull off right, but it was a bitch on my arms.

I figured since I had super strength, I could do the same thing the Hulk could do. I was right, but it was far weaker than the green goliaths.

The small amount of free time I had was mostly spent trying to test the limits of my powers and seeing what I could do. Laser eyes were useful and precise, but sometimes you needed an attack with some hefty power to it.

My zappy eye beams could be very intense when I focused, but that took a lot out of me.

As I flew through the air at breakneck speed towards Mojo's mountain, I heard the distinct noise of the girls flying through the air. Turning my head, my eyes widened as I caught sight of three trails of light following right behind me.

They were gaining on me far faster than I thought they would!

"Get back her and take your pummeling like a man!" Buttercup shouted at me. I didn't reply, knowing that I was going to need all my strength and wit to escape from them. The three of them growled before they started to fire their laser beams at me.

I was barely able to swerve away from their attempts to shoot me down. I had a ton of practice dodging my brother's lasers when I was playing laser tag with them. Still it wasn't easy at all, and I was frankly lucky that they hadn't destroyed my bag.

Unfortunately, it wasn't long before one of them got a shot in.

I held back a hiss of pain as Blossom's laser hit my leg. Singing my left leg with heat that would undoubtedly sting in the morning.

"Nice shot Blossom!" Bubbles cheered before one of her own eye beams landed a strike on my shoulder. She giggled at the sight of her beam, and before I knew it Buttercup had also managed to hit my right foot.

I felt a wave of frustration hit me at my increasing inability to dodge their attacks.

'Damn it! I'm not going to make it at this rate!' I pushed myself even further, but to my growing dread the girls were able to keep pace with me. My eyes peered down at the downtown city, before grimacing. My only chance at escape lay in making them lose me in the mad sprawl of the urban jungle.

I didn't want to risk collateral damage, but it looks like I have no choice if I want to escape capture.

Changing my trajectory, I flew down into the busy sprawl of Townsville's highways. Attempting to use the pedestrians and vehicles to obscure the Powerpuff girls' sight. While this worked in stopping myself from getting laser tagged, and even slowed down the girls, all of this obstruction was disorienting for me as well.

Which allowed Bubbles to sneak around me and intercept my flight.

"I've got you now meanie!" The blonde exclaimed punching me straight in the jaw, the force sending my body into the front of a parked car's door. The impact being strong enough to not only break off one of the doors, but shatter the glass of the car window I was punched into.

Bubbles didn't relent, and started to hammer into me with a series of blows to my stomach. My durability was superhuman, but even I couldn't help but flinch at the pain that I was enduring.

Still, I wasn't tapped out just from that. I clenched my free hand and aimed my fist for her throat. The blonde hadn't been anticipating that, and clutched her hands around her neck. Recoiling in pain while tears flowing down her eyes at the rather brutal attack.

I didn't stop there. Using her moment of weakness to my advantage, I grabbed her left arm and slammed her body into the back of the car window.

Unfortunately, I didn't have long to breath before I had another Powerpuff on me. I only had a short second to turn my head to see an enraged Buttercup fly right into me. This time, I felt like the wind had been knocked out of me. My body was pushed into the concrete hard, as the green Powerpuff grinded my body into the ground, giving the highway a boy shaped skid mark.

"You're going to pay for that!!" Once our momentum had stopped, Buttercup started to wail on me in the face with her fists. The force and impact of her strikes was strong enough to not only crack open the ground around us, but make me taste blood in my mouth.

Rage and adrenaline flowed into me. Giving me the strength to push my bag away. I grabbed both of her fists and with an immense amount of force, I bit into her right arm, causing the ravenette to cry out in pain as she clutched her arm.

"Get off me!" Snarling at her, I blasted at Buttercup with my laser vision at full force. Sending the heroine flying into the building. With a sigh of relief, I forced myself up. Ignoring the pain throbbing throughout my entire body, as I picked up the bag again and tried to fly away.

Only to find myself put into a headlock by Blossom!

"This ends now!" My eyes widened in horror as I felt the leader's superhuman grip press into my neck. I tried to pry my arms between hers, but it was no use. She had too much leverage over me, and she placed herself right behind me.

Which left me with no options… until I saw the glass windows. It looked like quite a nice place given the assortment of cakes and sweets inside.

The food inside wasn't what I was interested in though.

It was the glass window protecting them that gave me hope.

Maybe I could hit Blossom with my heat vision if I bounced it off the glass?

'Please let this work… please let this work!'

My aim had to be right.

Or it'd be all over.

I concentrated. Aiming right where I was sure she would be. Blossom's frown deepened before renewing her attempts to choke me out. I felt my vision blurring, and with all my hopes pinned on this, I fired my laser.

The red beam hit the glass window, and just like I suspected bounced off it. My heart was racing. Wondering if I had aimed it correctly or not. As it raced towards us, I could hear Blossom gasp in surprise before she released me from her grip to dodge the blast.

It wasn't what I wanted to happen, but I'd take it. At least now I could breathe. That was too close of a call for my comfort. It was really weird how I could survive out in space, but still needed oxygen to survive. I wonder if it was an actual physical need for us Chemical X homunculus, or if it was simply a psychological habit I could train myself out of like Superman?

We both paused for a second. Blossom was probably thinking of a way to beat me, while I just simply wanted to catch my breath. Still I knew it was only a matter of time before her sisters showed up.

I needed to leave now. Fuck the videogames, they weren't worth all of this hassle and were only slowing me down. Though as I was about to make another attempt, I heard the sound of screaming going off in the distance.

We both paused in our tracks at the sound of an explosion going off in the distance. A sinking feeling entered my stomach as I saw the sight of a burning building. Looks like my laser did more than just get Blossom off my back.

It set off an explosion somewhere in that building. Maybe I put too much force into it? Or it could have hit something that had a lot of gas in it. Regardless, the result was a building set on fire.

To my discomfort, there were people fleeing the building. Also some of them were women and children. Who besides being traumatized, will probably not have a home anymore.

"Well that was not what I intended to happen…" I muttered under my breath. Blossom raised an eyebrow, but thankfully didn't say anything. It was easier trying my best to ignore the growing guilt. Thankfully, I didn't have long to reflect on my actions when the distinct feelings of two fists smashed into my face.

Sending me flying straight into a fire hydrant headfirst. My jaw was really fucking sore now, and from the wet warm feeling on my head, I'm pretty sure I was bleeding. Also I have a really bad headache now.

"Ow…"

To add further salt to my wounds, the fire hydrant started to spew out gallons of cold water. Soaking my entire body to the brim. The only bright side was that it was at least a bit soothing to my aching skull, but now I had a good look at what I was seeing.

And I didn't like it.

Bubbles and Buttercup had returned to the fray.

Fantastic… Just fantastic!

Now it was back to being a 3v1!

"Are you okay Blossom?" Bubbles asked, giving her sister a concerned look while giving me a glare. She still had small cuts and bruises over her body along with shards of glass on her. Despite that she still looked ready to go.

Persistent little brat…

"I'm okay Bubbles, are you two okay?"

"Yeah, I'll live… though i can't say the same for this jerk!" Buttercup growled, turning her attention back to me. Besides the bite mark on her skin, I noted to my satisfaction that she was also bearing some scorch marks.

It was a poor consolation prize considering the circumstances though.

I chuckled to myself. The girls glared at me, probably thinking that I was laughing at them. But honestly? I was laughing at myself for being such an overconfident fool that I went out by myself without telling my brothers.

If I had robbed the game store with them, I most likely wouldn't be in this mess to begin with.

Still, I remained defiant.

I was going to be spiteful until the very end. I imagine that it was only a matter of time before those three put things together. They would figure out where Miss Bellum was, free her, and learn how to kill the Rowdyruff boys.

And by extension me.

So really I had nothing left to lose now.

I'm a Deadman walking already.

"Are you three idiots going to keep wasting my time or are you going to get on with it already?" The 3 sisters didn't answer me. They merely looked at each for a split second before nodding.

"Sure, why not?" Blossom replied, throwing my early words right back at me. I glared right at the smartass brat for that. Determined to at the very least break her nose, I raised my fists up, while taking a deep breath.

It just wouldn't do for me to not at least leave my own little mark on her before I got beaten down.

The three then charged right at me as I braced myself for a world of pain.

And pain it was. I would like to say that I put in as much of a fight as I could, giving those three new bruises to go along with the ones I had already given them… but honestly it was pretty one sided at this point. For every punch or kick I would land, sending that opposing girl flying away, 2 or 3 more would land on me from the others.

That being said, the four of us were now pretty beat up. Cuts, bruises, you name it. Besides that, Buttercup had even earned herself a black eye from me, and there was notable lump on her throat where I had managed to pull off another throat punch. While Bubbles had lost one of her twin tails.

I was still worse off though. I had two black eyes, and a deep gash across my face from where Bubbles had hit me with a car door. She must have a serious grudge for what I did to her earlier, but no biggie.

I tossed her into another vehicle for her troubles.

The only one that didn't have a special wound was Blossom. Sure she had bruises and the shallow cuts, but she felt like an art piece that was left unfinished

And I made a promise to myself that I would at least break Blossom's nose.

I intended on fulfilling it. After kicking Buttercup into another car, Bubbles and Blossom both charged right at me with a scream. Our surroundings had been reduced to rubble, but thankfully the civilians had long left the area. So there was no one left to get in our way.

I gritted my bloodied teeth, dodging Bubbles's rage driven fists, and blasted her with my heat vision.

Sending her flying off into the same car Buttercup was in. The two girls groaned in pain, but I knew better than to assume they were out of the fight. Those two were resilient, and would join back up soon, but I now had enough spare time to fulfill my promise.

Blossom's fist collided with my face. I reeled back slightly at the impact, but I managed to keep myself in place and grabbed her wrist. Locking her in place and keeping her from getting away. To Blossom's credit, she didn't falter, and took the chance to try and wear me further down with her heat vision and extra punches from her free hand.

I didn't care about the extra pain she was inflicting on me, I was locked the fuck in. I clenched my right fist, pulling it as far back as I could while gathering all my remaining strength, and sent it straight into the Leader of the Powerpuff Girls face.

The impact was strong enough to send a shockwave that ripped up the concrete around us.

Blossom was sent flying straight into a building… and a couple of buildings after that one. Honestly, it was hard for me to know how far I sent her flying, but it was satisfying to see.

"Blossom!" I could vaguely hear the two sisters crying out their sister's name in alarm before I felt them jump me and start wailing. I didn't really have a clear idea of how long they spent treating me as their personal punching bag, but it eventually stopped.

Not because they wanted too, but because they had literally tired themselves out.

My facing firmly planted into the ground. My world was in complete and utter pain and frankly, I was surprised I was still alive. A beating like this should be something that not even a supervillain like me could survive… So why was I still alive?

Did this world run on cartoon logic too?

"Uggghhh. That really hurt!" My body twitched as I heard the Blossom's voice. I figured she'd still be conscious. My brothers had put them through worse… I want to see if I at least fulfilled my own self imposed promise.

"Blossom you're okay!" Bubbles exclaimed, before making a sobbing noise. My fingers twitched. I needed to get up. I want to get up. I MUST get up.

"Oh quit being a crybaby Bubbles! I knew she would be fine."

'Get up… get up. Get up! Get up! Getup Getup…'

With willpower I never knew I had, I was able to force myself to get up to my feet. My sight was flickering, and I was on the verge of passing out, but I was able to get up. My eyes looked over the sight of the three girls who were at the moment busy fussing over Blossom. Who definitely looked like she had just gotten hit by a train.

'Good… I did break her nose. And I even managed to hit her hard enough to knock that stupid ribbon off her head!'

"Don't pretend you weren't worried either Buttercup, you cried out for her name just like I did after that jerk…" Bubbles' annoyance quickly changed once she saw me slowly getting up from the ground. She quickly went to hide herself behind her sisters, pointing at me with no small amount of fear.

"How is he still up!? Is he some kind of zombie like that Magician!?"

"No, he's just a dummy who doesn't know when to quit!" Buttercup replied to Bubbles, looking at me with irritation… and begrudging respect. It was kind of hard to tell through all the agony I was going through.

"This fight is over… look at yourself! You aren't in any shape to fight anymore." Blossom lectured me in that annoying know-it-all tone I despised. Like she was my damn teacher…

That was enough to give me enough energy to reply back despite how much my ribs were hurting right now.

"Don't… you scold me… like your my -Car horn- boss! Neither you… or Brick have any right… telling me what to do…" I growled at her. Ignoring the censorship the Narrator forced into my dialogue. The three sisters stared at me warily, tensing up as they readied themselves for another possible attack from me. Which I would have gladly given them to be honest, but my body had other plans.

Not long after I spat out my defiance, a sudden feeling of weakness overcame me. My adrenaline and rage had finally been spent. One of my legs started to weaken and I found myself kneeling over. Barely able to hold myself up with my remaining good leg.

Much to my humiliation, Bubbles fear quickly changed to one of concern.

"Umm girls, do you think we should take him to a hospital? He doesn't look too good right now…" Bubbles pondered to herself, giving me a considering look. Before she brightened up. Like she had just thought up a wonderful idea. "Ooo! Ooo! I know! We can bring him back to the Professor, and heal him back up! I always wanted to play a nurse."

'I think I'd rather die than be taken care of by you…'

And knowing Bubbles' girly mindset, she would likely try to kiss bruises away. Which would end up with me dying anyway.

"That's stupid Bubbles. He's a bad guy! We don't help bad guys, we beat them up!" Ah Buttercup, you're blunt tomboy nature is as charming as ever. Even if it was hypocritical given how much you like bullying others given the chance.

"You should… be more worried about yourselves." I replied, glaring at them weakly.

"Oh hush you!" Blossom dismissed me like a child that was throwing a tantrum, which stung my pride even more than if she had simply ignored me. The leader of the Powerpuff Girls then did what she did best.

Meet the middle ground.

"Now Buttercup, Bubbles does have a point, As heroes we should always help those in need. Even if they don't appreciate it." I growled at the jab she made towards me, but didn't say anything else. I was too tired to fight back much anymore. Blossom then pointed something out that soothed Buttercup. "Besides, we need to find Miss Bellum, and we can probably interrogate him once we get him home. Once he's all healed up anyways."

"The interrogation part does sound nice…" Buttercup smirked.

I grimaced at the idea of being at the mercy of these three merciless girls. Though I was resigned to my fate, at least I would take consolation that I made those three work for my defeat. As Bubbles giggled and went over to grab me, a blur of blue suddenly intercepted her.

Shocking me and the other two girls.

"Get away from Blast you dumb girlie!"

"Boomer…?" I gasped out loud. Almost not wanting to believe what I was seeing. My goofy ass brother had come to my rescue and was currently beating Bubbles into the dirt.

"Bubbles!!" The other two Powerpuff girls immediately went to Bubble's aid. Knocking the enraged Boomer away from her. The blonde looked dazed, but quickly noticed something up in the sky above them.

"It's the Rowdyruff boys!" She pointed up, and I followed where her finger was pointing.

Brick and Butch were also here.

"That's right! The toughest, evilest, and the biggest butt kickers of all time are here! Stand ready for our arrival sissies!" Brick sneered at the three girls, before taking a moment to look at me. His smirk fell down for a moment as he took in the state of my being. Looking almost shocked at how beat up I looked. I almost thought I saw a flicker of concern, but that was probably just my concussion making me see things.

"Man, I never seen Blast so messed up before…" Butch pointed out. Also noticing my rather poor state. I kept my eyes away from the Rowdyruff boys. Not wanting to look them in the eye and let them see any sign of weakness.

Boomer quickly flew up to join his brothers. An unusually serious and angry expression on his face. It was disturbing to see that goofball show this much anger on his face.

"I'll beat them up so bad, that their faces will look like their butts, and their butts will look like their face!" Boomer growled, his hands clenched as he looked at the now nervous powerpuff girls.

Brick looked annoyed at Boomer's weird words, but didn't smack him for it for once.

Instead he glared down at the Powerpuff Girls. Who didn't seem all that confident in their odds anymore.

"Yeah… Come on boys! Let's teach these sissies what happens when you mess with the Rowdyruff Boys!"

"Girls! Tactically retreat!" Blossom ordered, her sisters nodded and much to my brother's irritation they fled.

"Get back here you sissies!"

I watched in a mixture of relief and disbelief as I saw the Powerpuff girls being chased away. As I contemplated over how much luck I just spent, a flying saucer suddenly appeared before me.

It was Mojo Jojo.

He looked at me for a few moments. Seeming to take in my injuries. His expression was hard to read, but to my surprise I couldn't see any contempt for my weakness like I'd expect.

"I, Mojo jojo, believe it is time for you to come home."

I blankly looked at him before nodding. It was rather odd to hear him speak rather normally instead of using the vocal quirk. Though honestly, I'm just happy he's not wasting my time.

I've had enough bullshit to deal with today.

Going home sounds real nice right now. Though before I left, I made sure to grab the bag of stolen games. If I had to suffer, I was going to at least get something out of it.

Miraculously, it had survived that entire fight I had with the Powerpuff Girls.

Though despite managing to get what I came for, I felt hollow as we flew back home. Despite how hard I fought, the only reason I was carrying this bag back was because my brothers saved me. The Powerpuff girls had won over me in the end, and this victory wasn't really mine. I didn't earn it.

And that left me feeling the bitter taste of defeat on my tongue… a feeling that I was resolute to never experience again.

For now though, I would settle with some painkiller, and a really long nap to sleep off my injuries.Last edited: Jun 16, 2025 Like Quote ReplyReport Reactions:EyesOnTheInside, Ruffleflufflebakedpotato, DrZeb49 and 570 others
