Chapter 194 - Chapter 193 - The Battle in the Muggle World 06.

[Chapter Size: 2000 Words.]

Third Person POV

That City.

...

...

The giant snake slithered out of the hole created after it broke the roof, as it began to crawl through the place, dragging the fallen bodies around as its body slid along, while Ouroboros' gaze fell directly on Voldemort, his enemy.

He himself was at a distance as he looked with hatred at the hooded man in front of the basilisk.

"Damned..." Voldemort said, expressing his hatred with his gaze while his hand continued to bleed, along the wrist line, where it had been cut, and the severed part was on the side of the roof of that building, tossed aside.

He couldn't even remember the last time he had been hurt by someone. Much less lost a part of his body. Fortunately, his body resisted the bleeding and could stop it easily, but losing an entire hand made him look at the hooded man with even more disgust... He, Voldemort, suffering such humiliation this night, when all should fear him?

Snape was already preparing to finish him off, while a lightning bolt began to appear in his hand gripping the handle of a dagger just as at the same time that small snake, he saw Voldemort quickly using the wand pointed at the severed hand, and a metal hand began to grow, resembling bronze.

At the same time, he felt the danger coming. Snape had already disappeared with his teleportation, appearing above Voldemort and aiming at his head with his goblin metal dagger, which he took from his inventory — this time, to finish Voldemort once and for all.

But at the same time, Voldemort was no fool. Just as he feared Dumbledore, he had also researched this dark wizard assassin, and knew very well the deadly ability that was his teleportation, being his main assassination skill, while he had developed some counterspells for it.

After all, he had just been hit thanks to that ability that made Snape get so close while he was flying through the sky and losing his hand soon after.

"AHHHH!!!"

He quickly screamed at the exact moment Snape appeared above him, opening his arms in a movement, while a wave of telekinesis with green lightning began to spread from that point throughout the place, making Snape feel that it was dangerous.

Immediately, as soon as he appeared close, inches from his face, Snape disappeared again in an instant, reappearing near Ouroboros once more.

"Interesting ability...", Snape said with his distorted voice, praising the care Voldemort had taken against his shadow teleportation. He had to admit he was dealing with someone as strong as Dumbledore, and that excited him about the fight.

Voldemort, wasting no time, quickly cast another spell, launching the Avada Kedavra directly at Snape.

But Ouroboros appeared in front of the spell with his body to protect his king, and the spell was canceled upon touching his skin, while the giant serpent circled Snape, raising its head and looking threateningly at Voldemort.

To Voldemort, it was also frustrating to see that giant snake being his enemy. At the same time, he saw Nagini in Snape's hands the entire time without being able to escape.

Quickly, he began to think about how he would get rid of that wizard, when he felt a presence approaching behind him as well, not as destructive as Ouroboros, but certainly fast, coming like a blur when it appeared on the roof, quickly advancing while raising its sword to decapitate Voldemort.

But in a swift movement, the same spell that hit Snape preventing his teleportation was cast, as he made the same motion and a wave quickly spread around Voldemort, hitting the knight before he could get close.

Igris was thrown to the corner, breaking the roof and falling to the floor below. He was not defeated, but was certainly damaged by that attack.

And Voldemort did not waste time. He quickly cast a spell upwards, while a green skull appeared and looked to the skies with a disturbing tone, before casting his apparition spell to vanish from there.

Quickly, his body began to transform, entering cellular distortion. But suddenly, it stopped,

"What is this?!"

As Voldemort appeared slightly twisted, having gotten out of there, feeling trapped by an energy.

He looked inside the distortion, but turned back to the hooded man in front of the snake with a slightly strange view of the world there, but he could see that he was raising his hand pointed at Voldemort, while his eyes glowed blue inside the hood, using the Monarch's Touch with telekinesis to prevent Voldemort from escaping.

Snape looked at him with eyes indicating he shouldn't think he would escape so easily...

At the same time, several brooms entered the airspace and were advancing toward the building at that moment, as the mark indicating everyone to retreat appeared in the sky.

They went to check what was happening, finding a giant snake, Snape, and another knight coming out of a hole in the roof at that moment. As they got close, they began casting spells.

Snape looked at it while removing his dagger and taking another one from his inventory — a more common weapon — before throwing it directly at Voldemort, aiming at the distorted space.

Having to cancel the Monarch's Touch, Voldemort finally managed to disappear into the distortion. The blade had hit him at the last moment, vanishing along with the Dark Lord into that wormhole, knowing he had hit Voldemort in some way before he completely escaped.

At the same time, Ouroboros managed to block some attacks — but not all.

After all, there were at least eight brooms advancing toward the place from various directions and attacking Snape. For that reason, he had to let Voldemort escape.

Snape disappeared as the spells exploded the ground where he had been, while at the same time, as the brooms passed over the building, suddenly, someone shot into the sky appearing right in front of them, being Igris himself, already recovered and moving his sword as he cut the enemies on their brooms in half with one motion.

Snape appeared in the air, surprising the Death Eaters and dark wizards there, as they saw him emerge from nowhere, before disappearing again.

Since they didn't have much range, he teleported, moving through the air until he got close to a wizard, who didn't even have a chance before being killed by his blade, at the same time he turned his wand and cast a death spell above, at another broom, calculating where they would pass, hitting them easily.

He continued before descending, beginning to advance through the sky, while wizards from all over the city who had survived the creatures, and many still trying to stop the advance of the shadows spread throughout the place, began to disappear using apparition or even flying into the sky.

Snape had finished off the last broom, which he managed to kill before returning to the building, where Igris and Ouroboros awaited him, while the city was still full of his shadows spread out.

He landed in place, looking at the city full of black smoke beginning to rise to the sky, being the wizards fleeing, while the few surviving werewolves ran to the city limits.

"Try to kill all you can catch...", Snape muttered, hoping his soldiers would eliminate as much of that scum as possible.

He looked at his mana level in the system and it was quite reasonable, he hadn't even spent half against the city's wizards and werewolves.

'Even some dungeons are stronger than this...'

He couldn't help but murmur — in the end, this world wasn't much of a challenge.

Checking one of the shadows, after observing them for a while fleeing, unable to do anything while his Orc shaman's lightning continued killing them as it struck them in the sky and even the aurors tried to catch some of them, he saw something interesting in one of them in particular.

After all, now he could see a small system box above each of the people within his field of vision, with the system displaying their name and even the difficulty levels in a fight, though no one there really presented a threat — not even Voldemort.

He narrowed his eyes and quickly vanished from that building, with Ouroboros and Igris returning to his shadow, advancing through the air via his teleportation, appearing and disappearing, heading in the direction where that specific shadow was going.

The shadow was surprised to see someone approaching like that and, suddenly, someone grabbing them by the neck within the smoke and disappearing with them, teleporting quickly downward before the person could react.

Their body hit the ground, but in a cushioned way with that kind of fall, since Snape didn't want to kill the person immediately.

The air from the lungs seemed to vanish instantly with the impact, as they let out a gasp trying to breathe, with the shadow disappearing and revealing a specific person.

They were in a house abandoned by the attack on the city. The roof had exploded with the impact of that person's body, who tried to grab their wand — but it was already being kicked away by Snape.

"What do we have here?" Snape said as he took off his hood, not even hiding his voice, looking at the person there, who coughed before looking back at him in fear.

"Who are you?" he murmured, still seeing everything blurry.

"It's the first time we meet, so I'm not surprised you don't recognize me right away, dear uncle Voldimbler Prince..." Snape said, looking at one of his mother's brothers, who had yielded to Voldemort's will, precisely to eliminate him. So it was at least ironic to find him there. This was the youngest son among the two male siblings.

The man opened his eyes, dazed.

"Ellen's son..." he murmured, wondering what was happening there.

"Exactly. I've killed many Death Eaters tonight, but I didn't expect to find something interesting with you, uncle. If I had known you were here, I would've searched for you before even facing Voldemort," Snape said in a dark tone.

"What?" he murmured.

"Now then... let's see how the Prince family is doing."

Snape approached and placed his leg on the man's chest, pinning him in place, while the pressure made it even harder for him to breathe. At the same time, Snape looked directly at him, coldly.

He looked into his uncle's eyes and quickly began to invade his mind, without any difficulty. After all, he had also trained a bit in the mind arts. Even for a trained wizard like Voldimbler, he entered with ease and began to see all the memories about the Prince family — even from the time while his mother was alive.

There were the plans, the conversations with Voldemort. They were truly skilled in Legilimency but nothing that could stop someone like Snape, who couldn't be limited to this world...

The man couldn't even process everything that was happening while Snape absorbed everything quickly.

"They say it's bad luck to kill relatives... but you, I'll make an exception, since you condemned your own sister along with the other, just out of envy of my mother," he said, turning his back, leaving only a shadow in the place.

Igris appeared, removing his sword. The man only groaned before feeling the blade strike him to the ground, being killed with an execution blow.

Snape moved outside, and Igris followed shortly after, while they saw the city still with people running and screaming through the streets, and Snape's shadows continued to search for any enemy.

There were no more dark wizards or werewolves, but the aurors were still flying everywhere, also looking for any enemies and trying to hunt those who were fleeing.

There were at least six helicopters flying over the city as well.

"Well, this turned into a real mess," Snape commented.

He couldn't remember an event of such scale before in the Muggle world, and it would certainly draw a lot of attention from the whole country and even from abroad — the world might be in a crisis over what happened here tonight.

Now, he just had to finish his business before leaving this city and returning to Hogwarts.
