Royal Plateau—the highest point of Dressrosa, where the royal palace stood and where all Donquixote Family officers and higher-ranking members resided.

At this moment, a figure was seen sprinting toward the gates of a villa, urgently whispering something into the ear of one of the guards.

"What?!" In an instant, the once-calm guard's expression turned pale. Without hesitation, one of them turned and dashed into the palace's depths.

"You've got to be kidding me…" Upon hearing the report, Trebol's face changed drastically.

"This is serious—we have to inform Doffy immediately!" Without delay, Trebol spun around and ran off.

Minutes later, within a lavish European-style palace, Donquixote Doflamingo lounged on a sofa in his ornate robes. The door burst open, and Trebol rushed in.

"Fufufufufufu! What has you, an old veteran, looking so panicked?"

Trebol's expression was grave as he said, "Something bad's happened, Doffy! Our men just reported—those three Marine Admirals who entered the New World not long ago… they've arrived at Dressrosa's harbor!"

"It's very likely we're their target!" At those words, every Donquixote Family member present turned pale, some even gasping in disbelief.

"Doffy!"

"Master!"

"The Marines came straight for us! What are they planning to do?"

Panic-filled voices echoed through the palace. Doflamingo narrowed his eyes behind his shades, a flash of light reflecting off the lenses.

"Fufufufufu! There's no doubt about it—they're clearly after us. The Marines entered the New World and headed straight for me. They're not here for a friendly chat."

Then, his tone darkened as he stared toward the open palace doors.

"Summon everyone. Order them not to act on their own. Without my command, no one is to make a move."

"Three Admirals… that's a force the Donquixote Family alone cannot hope to resist!" The gravity of his words made everyone's expressions stiffen.

No one dared to oppose him. Everyone knew the truth: standing against the Marines was nearly impossible, especially when all three Admirals stood united.

Even if Doflamingo had reached that level of power, it was doubtful he could hold out against their combined might. The Donquixote Family was instantly thrown into panic.

Years ago, they had come to this land, overthrown King Riku, seized the throne, and claimed the kingdom as their own.

Many of their methods were dark and bloody—just the kind of history the Marines could use as justification for punishment. In the past, none of them worried much.

But now… ever since Arashi became the new Fleet Admiral, no one could predict what that iron-willed man might do.

As time passed, a suffocating tension spread across the Royal Plateau. Then, finally, when a group of stern-faced Marines appeared on the horizon, everyone's eyes narrowed sharply.

"Admiral Aokiji!"

"Admiral Bullet!"

"Admiral Fujitora!"

The three Admirals approached together, exuding a crushing pressure that made it hard for anyone to breathe, especially since none of them wore friendly expressions.

Soon, the Admirals stood before Doflamingo and the assembled Donquixote Family.

"Fufufufufufu! To think little Dressrosa could summon all three Admirals… how unbelievable." Doflamingo narrowed his eyes with a smirk.

Aokiji remained silent. Bullet stared coldly at him, while Fujitora stepped forward, pulling out a document from within his robes.

"Donquixote Doflamingo. Former Warlord. Now that the Warlord system has been abolished, your only identity is that of a notorious pirate."

"We're here for you. Over the years, as king of Dressrosa, you've committed numerous crimes, many of which the Marines now have concrete evidence for."

"Furthermore, records from the Marines show that in the past, you held a position as a Marine officer in addition to your Warlord title."

"As such, we have every right to arrest you and bring you before a military tribunal for a fair and just trial to determine your punishment."

Fujitora's voice was firm and steady. As he finished speaking, the eyes of the other two Admirals flashed coldly. The Marines behind them all reached for their weapons.

It was clear—if Doflamingo resisted in the slightest, battle would break out immediately.

Doflamingo went silent. He had anticipated the Marines would make a move eventually, but he didn't expect them to come directly and so aggressively.

Beside him, Trebol and the others looked anxious and tense. The Marines were planning to arrest their young master—something even the World Government had never dared to do.

"You're free to resist, Doflamingo," Bullet sneered. "If you do, we'll break you completely, then drag you to Impel Down."

Doflamingo suddenly inhaled deeply, then smiled. He calmly raised his hands.

"I'm willing to accept a military tribunal. Let it prove that in all these years, I haven't done anything too unlawful." His sudden declaration stunned all three Admirals.

Aokiji yawned lazily. "How amusing. With the evidence we've gathered, a fair trial would be enough to send you straight to Impel Down, Doflamingo."

"Fufufufufu! Then I suggest you double-check just how severe my crimes are."

"I trust that under Fleet Admiral Arashi's leadership, the Marines today will be fair and just." Doflamingo smiled confidently, as if certain he wouldn't be found guilty.

"Interesting," Bullet grinned, waving a hand. Marines stepped forward and cuffed Doflamingo with Seastone restraints.

"Until then, I suggest you don't get any funny ideas. This way's easier for everyone," Aokiji added lazily.

"Doffy!!" Trebol cried in concern.

"Calm down," Doflamingo said with a laugh, turning his back to them. "Don't worry—I'll be back. Until then, all of you… Take care of our home."

"Everyone." Just then, Aokiji interrupted again. "You may be misunderstanding something."

"From this moment forward… this might no longer be your home."

Doflamingo's face darkened, eyes snapping to the three Admirals. "What do you mean?"

"Because the King of Dressrosa has been arrested and his crimes are still under investigation… This kingdom will temporarily be placed under Marine jurisdiction."

Aokiji paused, then looked at Doflamingo meaningfully. "And we'll be digging deep into the darkness buried beneath this so-called kingdom."

Doflamingo's face turned gloomy, and in his heart, a storm had begun to rise. At that moment, Doflamingo finally understood.

The Marine's appetite was far greater than he'd imagined. The arrival of the three Admirals wasn't just for him—it was likely aimed at Dressrosa itself. The Marines wanted to take control of this kingdom!

"What bold ambition! What a heavy-handed approach! They intend to use this kingdom as a stepping stone into the New World?" Doflamingo was shocked.

Not long ago, the Marines formed a partnership with Fish-Man Island, gaining access to a route into the New World that was independent of the World Government.

On top of that, they had established a highly effective system to intercept pirates entering that sea.

Now, their eyes had fallen on Dressrosa. Arashi's ambition was enormous.

After his heart surged with emotion, Doflamingo finally calmed down. He looked up and smiled. "I'm willing to cooperate with all Marine operations."

Bullet glanced at him coldly and gave a chilling smile. "Smart move."

Soon after, the Marines occupied the King's Plateau and took control of Dressrosa. The Donquixote Family was placed under strict surveillance.

The three Admirals sat within the grand palace, scanning their surroundings.

"Temporarily taking over an entire kingdom… This is a first for the Marines," Aokiji remarked, frowning with a sigh. "We're not exactly trained for this kind of thing."

"For professional work, you need professionals," he added. "Before arriving, I reviewed Dressrosa's development during Doflamingo's reign."

"All things considered, he hasn't exactly failed as a king," Bullet said in a deep tone.

"How unexpected!" Aokiji raised his brow. "A notorious pirate with actual administrative experience."

"Don't underestimate him," Bullet replied. "Aside from his strength, he's a man of ruthless means."

Fujitora sat silently, not participating in the conversation. But he understood Arashi's intent—and recognized the importance of this mission.

Having the Marines take over Dressrosa would have enormous implications. Even more shocking, this could be the beginning. The moves to follow might be even more intense.

"The Marines wouldn't seriously let Doflamingo manage this country, right?" Fujitora asked aloud.

Deep down, he couldn't accept the idea of a pirate with such a vile reputation running a kingdom.

When he reviewed Doflamingo's records within the Marine archives, he was even more stunned—this infamous pirate had once joined the Marines many years ago.

A surprising fact. But his current position made it difficult to understand where he truly stood.

"We need to investigate Doflamingo and his crew thoroughly—every crime they've committed."

"We also need to find out what happened to King Riku and the others after the coup, and what's the deal with those toy people on the streets?"

"Every matter must be fully investigated, and justice must be returned to the innocent citizens of this nation," Fujitora said firmly.

"If Fleet Admiral Arashi has ordered the Marines to take over this kingdom," he continued, "then there can't be even a shred of darkness left in this place!"

Aokiji and Bullet both tensed slightly at his words, then nodded in agreement. The Marines' swift and decisive action caught everyone off guard.

With the entire Donquixote Family under control, uncovering the truth behind Dressrosa wasn't difficult.

In just three days, many people who had been turned into toys during the coup were rescued, including the powerful gladiator Kyros. King Riku was also found and saved.

Finally, the Marines discovered a hidden factory within Dressrosa. After questioning Doflamingo, they were shocked by the truth.

"Unbelievable! He was cooperating with Kaido, one of the Four Emperors of the New World. This factory was manufacturing artificial Devil Fruits! And behind it all… was the shadow of the World Government."

The three Admirals instantly understood the gravity of the situation. But faced with their stern, heavy expressions, Doflamingo only laughed wildly.

"You think you know who rules the darkness behind this world? Who do you think keeps creating all this darkness, endlessly?

"Pirates? No. They're merely the product of that darkness! Fuhahahahaha!" His laughter echoed in their ears, making their expressions complicated.

They weren't fools—each of them understood the implication. The factory in Dressrosa had the World Government's shadow behind it.

Doflamingo was merely the middleman, connecting the two forces above him.

"Heh. Let's forward the intel to Arashi," Aokiji said coolly. "This kind of matter isn't for us to worry about."

"As for you, Doflamingo… the Marines won't show mercy to a criminal. Pray for your fate." His laughter stopped abruptly. Doflamingo's face turned grim and cold.

...

Marine Headquarters. Marineford.

In the Fleet Admiral's office, Arashi silently read the intelligence on his desk. His brow furrowed, then slowly relaxed.

Doflamingo's involvement with both the World Government and Kaido was unexpected, but not completely shocking. After a moment of thought, he issued his orders.

"Take full control of Dressrosa. Implement a military-led government and establish a Marine base as soon as possible."

"Get in contact with SWORD, who are en route to Wano." The instructions were simple but urgent. After a pause, Arashi looked up at the officer in front of him.

"Has Crocodile returned?"

The officer was startled, then quickly answered, "He's just arrived at Marineford. Have him come see me," Arashi said calmly.

"Yes, sir!"

The officer turned and left immediately. Arashi narrowed his eyes, a cold glint flashing in them.

"The next step… is deciding how to deal with the remaining Emperors."
