Ray and Jimmy reached his car, and Ray said, "Lambert told me you caught someone, and I was quite surprised, as this case hasn't been touched for a while. You're really lucky." As he spoke, Ray opened the car door, and fetched another folder from inside, "This is what he wanted me to give you, seems like he didn't want you running around back and forth."
Jimmy took a glance at it, then looked at Ray, "How about you? Are you guys busy right now?"
Ray said, "Just the usual, no difference. Alright, don't worry, just focus on your case."
Although Ray didn't know why Lambert had transferred Jimmy, he understood that if Lambert hadn't mentioned it, it wasn't his place to know. So, he didn't inquire why Jimmy had come, why he was in Houston. In any case, staying away from potentially sensitive matters was better for everyone.
